AFK travel should not be the way to get places. If your guild wants to organize an event, travel should be part of the event. This gets large groups moving around the world for other large groups to target. I dont know what about this is so hard for people to get. Part of the GAME of mortal online IS the travel with your friends. Someone that wants to wake up at dungeon entrance is not in the spirit of a hardcore sandbox. Play one of the billion other games that auto gets you to content an leave this one pure. If your only way of linking up with friends is ghosting: YOURE DOING IT WRONG. Rally and ride with your friends. Operate in an area for a while and when you are ALL ready to move on, do it in a caravan and base somewhere else

I already had a solution to the ghost running bs. Just add spells for spiritists who can make a portal for your ghost to teleport to any major city's graveyard. Make the spell hard to get and make the reagents expensive that way there's a good gold sink. Boom problem solved. Id rather pay some spiritist 250g for example to port me to the other side of the world rather than waste an hour of ghost running or afk running

Henrik listens to Henrik Map size 15 times the size of MO1. With the population the same size as MO1. Why would you have a map this size with under 1000 concurrent most of its life. You make the map bigger if population demands it.

As a long time player of this game, I'm impressed by the audacity of the developers to actually show their face. Freaking minecraft mob votes got more done in a year than them in ten.

Solo play is fun for about a month.. then you have alot of resources and gear and nobody to play with.. better get really good taking on 4v1s from mounted.

Not only can you pay Star vault a sub to beta test the game. Now you can translate the game for them . Or be like the player who built a patcher for the first game because they couldn’t. Or the player who built their que system. Shows you how much time SV is putting in the game. Most of the patches are just store bought assets.

how about they fking pay someone to do this instead of using their community for free labor and beta testing. this whole game is just a beta test.

Totally broken... Now Veelas are OP. We must remember that this 30% is not only with daggers, but with every other weapon! And that's crazy.. they should at least improve the cooldown on this clade now.. 20% would have been more balanced

Gotta love how long the game has been live and AI scaling a rock wall is just considered an ok game feature to not fix.

BM attacks are still dorked. They still do not hit moving targets on PTR. They do lots of dmg. DPS is MUCH higher then with autoattacks. But you can just move, yes even walk, and take no dmg at all. My bear cant even kill a baby bushpig as soon as it runs away. The bear gets stuck in a loop with BM attack and thats it. Even after reaplyying attack, the BM attack was still locked in. Tamers are gonna be dead after this patch. Not hitting moving targets. Just like back when the game came out.

4k+ hours solo, only worked because i was playing 100hrs a week for 98% of those hours.

Seems like, solo play is only way I Seem to get along..

I mainly play solo during the week and in group with my guild in the weekend. So mainly, I farm my clade, ressources and craft on the week day and do donjon or any group activities in the weekend and it work well with my lifestyle and with my guild. Sometimes, i do donjon solo and meet some allied or random people and stick with them and I always have a nice time. Beeing a women it is surely much more easy for me to meet people and to not be kill each time ;)

I play ONLY solo, since 3 years almost, and absolutely refuse to enter any guild of form groups beside the odd random encounter ion a dungeons. I'm having a blast.

I play in a guild but I normally do things solo because of how I get to play, the hardest part of solo playing is the amount of time it takes to do stuff, when you roll out somewhere solo you normally have to forfeit whatever your plan is anyways as you'll often find groups doing the content you went to do anyways ~ sadly it is a lot about having low expectations of what you can do

There are some guilds that will let Solos live out of their villages, even in the most contested areas :) You just need to find them. And you probably should not have attacked those rather peaceful guilds before. Also being nice to people as a Solo goes a long way. When I see ppl stranded, ill give them a ride and if their weapon is below what id consider "okay quality", they'll likely get a nice steel sword. People do remember stuff like that. Also getting rare materials/ good weapons to friendly guild-banks will make you an asset for them without being a member. BTW Wolfszeit if you want to know A GREAT moneyfarm without PvP, tell me :) (its about 250-300g an hour, no waiting for respawns) also foraging alone in that area can get you about 1.5k glory an hour, now add hunting tasks and the noobs will get to the mastery system a lot faster. (edit for grammar)

You can actually solo with a single character. At least when you play some kind of mage/bm build. Get butchery, light armor crafting and pet equipment crafting and you basically got everything you need.

Why I play solo. I'm a busy guy, working 10 hours with children, which makes solo not just a possibility but a necessity to enjoy myself. When i'm in a guild I have this pressure to be constantly on my A game and if my attention is diverted just for a moment I feel like I'm letting my team down. This environment is not ideal for a working father. But, since I play allot of games on Hardcore (if its available) I'm used to staring over; and so I'm accustomed to it unlike many other players. Instead of listening to overly motivated gamers (love you guys) raging at me for not paying enough attention, I can just grind out crafting, trade, and gather as many resources as I can until my attention is diverted leading to my death, or when I get bored, which is inevitable in every game no matter how you play.

Solo play is atrocious in this game. The pve and AI even tho Henrik says “it’s the best AI out of any mmo” are straight out of 2009. A lot of the major dungeons are locked down by rmt guilds. And the POIs have as much thought put into them as purchasing them from the asset store and plunking them down. Most of the time the games fun because you have people in discord chat to shoot the shit with. There is a reason why the concurrent is about to hit sub 800. And it’s not because it’s good. Just checked it’s below 800.

You forgot a con of solo play is you can get mass reported and banned.

the main downside is that half of the game content is locked away from you. still waiting for better TC and breeding for more solo content that can have a tiny impact in the world

Solo play is definitely possible. You will be a vagabond, and you will have to be sneaky. It's easiest if you make one character an armor crafter and the other weapon Smith. If you do this, you can always get stocked back up after a major ganking. Peace all and have an awesome time in mortal no matter how you play! Best

lol this aged well, didnt it? Take a look at the map pings if you want to see how people interact with eachother.. or visit the towns. Guilds naming characters or houses after war-crimes/criminals, accusing people of domestic violence, sexual harrassment, blatant racism mixed with real life politics.. nice. And what bothers me the most, if its done through VoIP, 90% from the time, its an American. Wouldnt be surprised to find a stronghold named Buchenwald in this game. Already found a player called JosephFritzl and a horse named Goebbels.
