    Central boiler should add a light above the door! Maybe adjustable to look into firebox?

    My wife uses hairspray to clean up my 2nd hand creosote in the house, LOL. Works on hands as well. Thanks for the video.

    I've never seen anyone put "that much" firewood in an outdoor wood boiler.
    Although a friend of mine has a huge Heatmor, that he claims burns 1 full cord per day, on the coldest of days. He heats a 60x120 insulated storage building, and a large house.
    Best wishes, very entertaining!

      You gotta do what you gotta do. When I go to work I am usually gone for 30 to 50 hours and with it being full like that it can last 50+ hours 🙃

    The manual on my Classic 6048 says leave 6" on both sides and the front for circulation. I've never been able to stack mine like that...!

    You need to wait 15 seconds after opening the by pass to open the door and another 15 seconds to close the bypass after the door is closed it says it next to there by pass handle i know a guy who blow the back door off his boiler because he didn't wait

    That much wood would heat my 2300n sq foot house in north Idaho for 4 days and I dont gt covered in smoke. I dontsee the advantage.

    Great stoke - to the brim! 30 hours is impressive. That thing will regulate itself I suppose. How's the smoke coming from the stack?

    • @TheDMagnusV

      Sorry been away for awhile. Smoke when it is going good is non existent just clear, looks like heat waves

      @@TheDMagnusV Wow! I've never seen that before! I would have thought it would be more wood burning all at the same time!??

      @@tclodfelter8789 The boiler doesn't actually heat with burning the wood. It heats with the charcoal made from the wood. If you look at the start when I show the left over charcoal. The boiler actually burns the gases off the charcoal. I am sure someone smarter than me can explain it a lot better but think of the top where we load the wood as just the holding area for where the real burning occurs down bellow.

    Wonder why most people dont fill their stove up more?

    • @russellholmes3975
      @russellholmes3975 ปีที่แล้ว

      I find with mine, it builds up too much coals and doesn't run as efficient. I was surprised to see him stack it that high, but if it's working, that's great

    • @TheDMagnusV
      @TheDMagnusV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically I will be gone to work for 40 to 50 hours, so this would ensure that it kept going till I got back.

      I cram my 750 right to the top, unless it flairs up and try's to burn my face off.
      I am using more btu's and using much crapper wood, I'm getting 14 hr burns. With extremely dry standing dead poplar I can get the coal bed up to the bottom of the door. I do have to burn it out every 3 days to get the ash to drop into the lower chamber, then back to the top.

    • @TheDMagnusV
      @TheDMagnusV  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yetilikesbeer I have found recently that if you make a nice pile in the middle half way up it is more efficient in how much wood is needed over time. But when I am going away for a couple of days I still fill it right up.

      @@TheDMagnusV I was going to edit my comment.
      I can get over 24hrs in better than average temps with the crap wood. Today it was -10C low / -4C high high with no sun and ice fog and it would have been 20 hrs.
      I find below 12C average temp it loads the unit up more and more heat goes to the fluid verses up the stack during the idle pulses.
      I was going to edit to say my worst burn on a full box was 14hrs overnight on dec 21/22 during the polar vortex. -39C low then -29C high.
      I'm running a 100,000 btu coil in my furnace, 100% wood heat to 1400 sq ft of not good insulated space to 21.5C. Hot water not connected yet, friday fingers crossed. And a 30x48x18 shop, same coil, no concrete. Heated to 6. I warm it up when I work in there.
