At first I only saw 2 or 3 of these every 2-3 weeks and now I see them every where!!! This car is gorgeous!! The styling is very controversial but its seems to sit well with many of the affluent people here in my city. Coming from a town where Escalades and Range Rovers dominated the roads, this new QX56 is starting to gain massive popularity. I see more and more of them every day! I wish!! Not even trading in my 09 G37 will give me enough to get into this Qx56!
This truck is absolutely enormous. I couldn't believe how small she looked in comparison to the truck in the last few seconds of the video. They say you will get 14 MPG in the city... But really, the more and more you are stopping and going in city traffic you can eventually see like 8 MPG lol.
I don't know what other people might think about this car but i really like it because it has beautiful exterior, interior, features and performance as well. People from Europe might not like cars this type (SUV) because they rarely are driven there. It is a car mainly for N.America or some parts of Asia.
The new QX weighs about 600 pounds MORE than my LX470 (2006) has 900cc's MORE displacement, makes 125 MORE HP yet returns about 4 mpg MORE on the highway. I don't know how they did it but if this beast can even get close to the EPA numbers, I am very impressed.
wow, that was a really great video... the first time i saw that new QX56 i thought that it was kinda ugly. but now that i see it here i really wanna buy one.
Great review and very pleasant and informed reviewer. My guess is she will go far in her career. Stick to the auto industry Jessi - you have all the "others" beat by a mile!
This SUV has literally taken over the roads since it first came out. I live in a pretty affluent area, although I do not own a Qx56 personally I do know however that this new QX has rapidly replaced the majority of Lexus LX, Mercedes GL and Range Rovers I use to see on people's drive ways not to long ago. I see this car every 5 minutes. Admittedly, the car is very different from a traditional looking SUV but thats why I think so many families are dropping $70K for a car like this.
Hopefully this new one is better than the previous. My Uncle has an 06 and it had tons of issues from suspension to electrical issues. A/C is weak as hell in 100F temps too.
Great review Jessi!! Infiniti did a great job on putting in some really innovative features. My only complaint is the looks....it's not the least bit interesting or attractive. So long as I closed my eyes every time I exited the vehicle I would't have any complaints LOL!!
I honestly think Infiniti is starting to replace many cars in the city I live in, my city use to be infested with alot of Mercedes all I see now are BMW's and Infiniti's everywhere and a bunch of other luxury brands. So far Ive seen like 5 of these new QX56 suvs, they look alot nicer in the flesh. Its a very elegant car despite its akward looks, its actually grown on me. If I had $75,000 to despense of I would diffently consider the QX56.
i want one of these so bad!!!!!! i have a 07 yukon denali that i thought couldnt be touched, until now! the view of the interior is down right gorgeous and some people say the styling is ugly, but i thinkits sexy and different. thumbs up to infiniti!!!!
@veyron659 LOL like what?? If anything this vehicle offers more then what it should for its price bracket. The new 2011 Qx56 boast more features then its predecessor. What are you referring to?
I'm not feeling the exterior yet but I'm sure it'll grow on me. It looks like a cross between a FX45 in the front and a Scion in the back.... I really am tired of seeing those darn fender vents that everybody is sticking on their cars. The interior is awesome though. Overall, it looks nice and I'd buy one in a couple years.
@theresagilmore would you mind mentioning the names of some out of those A LOT OF HIGH END VEHICLES who PURPOSELY dont bother sticking the leather to the base to increase leather's life and to prevent those ugly ripples.
Infiniti of Kirkland Used and Preowned Cars, your go-to spot for Infiniti as well as every other brand and your how-to source to spot if a car has been in an accident. We don't care who you buy from, we just want whatever it is you buy to be a car you love.
@caddylade Please do put the vid up. I love this car, but my only reservations were the headlights. If you're able to fix that problem with your QX, I'd like to see it.
@05front soon, but i'd doubt it will have 420 hp. more torque so the horspower number will go down alittle bit. my guess is 20ish mpg highway, 380 hp and 410tq for next titan.
Wow I was not expecting a review this early in the game, the Car looks phenomenal!! Screw The Lexus LX and the Mercedes GL I rather have this thing over the over rated "under dogs". The Range Rover is diffently up for discussion but this is just one an amazing car, I mean if Infiniti's goal is to imitate a Private Jet then I dont see why I should look any further because that represents the very word Luxury!"
I request roadflytv to test the new Nissan Patrol (safari) 2010, and compare the differences between the qx56 and the new safari and give us their recommendation because we cant look at the qx56 and leave the new safari which seems to be as luxurious and more beneficial as it has the option to go in sand and rocky areas. Thanks for the great video Jessi
@D3m0nL0rd1 In terms of performance, yes. But at this time we do not know how well those new Chrysler's will hold up. 370Z and GTR are both respectively fine performing vehicles. GTR would also destroy any of those vehicles, but I guess that's for another debate. The newer Maxima is also a pretty nice car overall.
wow this thing looks amazing. I give them ALOT and I mean ALOT of credit for creating someone that looks different unlike all the other car companies who copy each other.Good job infiniti....the only downside is pricing. They charge way too much and you can jump into a BMW and Benz for around the same price. I personally would rather choose infiniti as they are way more reliable from boring bmw and mercedes.
I love Infiniti Q 56 I ride it every day my husband surprise me with one I don’t care what nobody have negative to say about this Infiniti it’s sexy and I love it❤️
@flatblackstrat Japan only has 3 Infiniti cars labled Nissans, of those being the Nissan Fuga (M37) Nissan Skyline coupe & sedan (G37) Skyline crossover (EX35). However I do know that the Infiniti QX56 is available in China. Supposedly only the Mega Rich can afford the QX56 in china, the MSRP price is what the average house cost here in the states. The QX56 in china starts at an MSRP of $1,498,000 Chinese Yuan which is the equivelant to $223,500 USD, thats the cost of a Bentley here in the USA.
@Illmatic662 oh come on do you like those ripples in the leather on the door panels, and if you do than "WELL I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY " about your taste or knowledge of leather
To be honest...I'd rather get a van if the SUV looked like that. Doesn't matter how nice the inside is. But anyway, great review Jessi, seems like you tried to be more personal and less stiff this time. I've only been following RoadflyTV for a month or two, but this review is an improvement. Nice job.
@MrAutodome They are not fake chrome vents, weather or not they look unproportional & fake for your taste that is simply your opinion. Unlike other vehicle manufacturers the Infiniti FX and QX actually use side vents that serve a purpose and functionality to the car. The side vents & inlet is actually functional and operates as the intake point for the engine. Could the vents have looked nicer in terms of design? OF COURSE! but they have a purpose unlike other vehicles slapped on for decoration.
Is it just me, or is the new QX lacking lots of options the older model had? Don't get me wrong, I still like it but I think it's weird it lost so many features O.o
@niteangel27 test drive one, or better yet try their sexier FX35 or FX50. That would change your perception. Watching it and driving one mades a lot of difference. I just came from a 3 hour cross state driving to the ski resort of PA on my FX35. The driving experience especially the intelligent cruise control and distance control assist are driving comfort you would not want to give up once you tried it.
@Mercmad Plenty of rich people I guess, styling although subjective its still a very popular SUV, where I live this thing has quickly replaced the Range Rover & Escalade that once sat on peoples driveways.
@D3m0nL0rd1 I am a Dodge and Infiniti fan, but I must say this. For every car you mentioned Nissan has a competitor. Nissan Altima, Nissan Maxima, Nissan Titan, Dodge has nothing to compete with the leaf, 370z altima coupe and the list goes on... Chrysler's interiors have been spotty in the past quality wise but they have much improved. But nissans have never failed.
@Johncarson9113 No,the TC has the large roof. Also the lexus cars and trucks, ford edge I think, and the toyota venza. but this buick has a basic size roof it looks.
I was tempted to say for that type of money id rather buy a jeep srt8. But this car cant be compared because its targeting different custimer base. This suv would definitely hold its value
@Illmatic662 yeah you are right i would not waste $500 on a poorly crafted jacket but burning $ 50k on a llame finished suv is not a big deal. i wasn't comparing the jacket to suv, it was an example about leather finish. and for your kind information i am looking for a large vehicle to buy and currently 2011 ram longhorn is #1 on my list the only thing that got infiniti qx out of my shopping list is the interior and i dont think i will even bother test driving this nissan patrol on steroids.
@clarda1 what you buy is totally your choice, which i respect. as for trucks American's are way better not to mention the only three hd trucks in the market are all American. as far as jeep is concerned i only mentioned one product coz i know that infiniti or nissan have no answer for the mighty wrangler, besides they are all chrysler products. and please a 72 charger can beat M45 any day.
@clarda1 well first of all on what grounds maxima can compete with charger? maxima is a good point a to point b car, it is neither sporty or muscular nor has the performance and the interior of rt max is just as good if not better. .370z is a nice car but not practical, just two seats and also down on power (no v8), its v6's is no better than hemi v8. i love gtr but its price is almost double the challenger srt8 so no comparison there. besides nissan only got 1 hyper car and dodge got 2
@clarda1 have you ever seen a maxima? its v6 produces lame 290 bhp and its 0-60 is no way near what you just said not even close. go check your stats. and for your kind information 370z's sticker price is same as the challenger srt8 with a mammoth 6.4 hemi v8 that produces 470bhp and also the mpg for hemi is almost the same as you toothpick of an engine or what we call them "rice burners"
@unstoppablepiggy It rides on the same platform as the Nissan Patrol but Its an entirley different car at the exterior, the 2011 QX56 is completley infiniti inspired all around, the front fascia resembles the new M-series sedan just the way the Lexus LX SUV resembles the Lexus LS sedan. But yes, your right we dont have the Nissan Patrol yet, but its coming to the states next year, it will be replacing the current Nissan Armada.
@Illmatic662 Tell me this. Would you buy a leather coat/jacket with ripples at the seams or a leather chair or couch with ripples all over and call it style? How come something is unacceptable in clothes and luxury furniture and is style in a LUXURY car.
@D3m0nL0rd1 I'm not being loyal to Nissan. I would say if anything I have an allegiance towards Infiniti as an M35 owner. I am a guy I don't have bias, I call things like I see it. The QX56 is a fine truck, that's what we were debating. I know how you feel. A couple of years ago I never would have considered Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Volvo, etc. But I would buy any of those brands now, because they are making unique and compelling products.
@carGT222 You'll want one in a month or so. This thing is a beauty, for it's size. The old one was nothing more than a sunday Armada. Very truckish with the last third of the back that didn't fit with the front. Anyway, just tastes ...
I don't care what anyone thinks. This is a great ride. Negative comments about this SUV are made by those who can't even afford a Toyota Yaris, lmao.
at first i thought the old ones looked a lot better but now im warming up to the new style. the interior looks really nice.
much better than previous vids jessi, good job!
At first I only saw 2 or 3 of these every 2-3 weeks and now I see them every where!!! This car is gorgeous!! Excellent commentary and great focus on the right aspects of interest. Great job.
This truck is absolutely enormous. I couldn't believe how small she looked in comparison to the truck in the last few seconds of the video. They say you will get 14 MPG in the city... But really, the more and more you are stopping and going in city traffic you can eventually see like 8 MPG lol.
This is the American version of Nissan Patrol...This SUV rocks!
Great review, I love Infiniti. Didn't mention that this vehicle is based on the Patrol now and not the Armada
I don't know what other people might think about this car but i really like it because it has beautiful exterior, interior, features and performance as well.
People from Europe might not like cars this type (SUV) because they rarely are driven there. It is a car mainly for N.America or some parts of Asia.

That interior looks really really clean. And that place the lady was driving at, I wanna live in a place like that.
Im really digging the new design of the qx. very unique. this thing is a beast. huge.
wow, that was a really great video... the first time i saw that new QX56 i thought that it was kinda ugly. but now that i see it here i really wanna buy one.
Great review and very pleasant and informed reviewer.
My guess is she will go far in her career.
Stick to the auto industry Jessi - you have all the "others" beat by a mile!
The Best review made very professionally 👍👍👍
You forgot to mention the auto stop and land departure feature which is way advance than other competitor with a lower price tag. I love my qx56 2012.
I'm on the waiting list, my wife loves this car. Only 3 more months!
I LOVE THIS SUV. It's gorgeous and very elegant and it makes me want one.
Amazing car!
This size is gorgeous!
Great review Jessi!! Infiniti did a great job on putting in some really innovative features. My only complaint is the looks....it's not the least bit interesting or attractive. So long as I closed my eyes every time I exited the vehicle I would't have any complaints LOL!!
i think this is the Best Luxury SUV in its class Good Job Infiniti
I noticed a 4 high 4 low feature on the interior. I know that it has something to do with the Infiniti's AWD but what exactly does it do?
@clarda1 what would you say is the competetor against charger, challenger and grand cherokee let alone their srt siblings
I honestly think Infiniti is starting to replace many cars in the city I live in, my city use to be infested with alot of Mercedes all I see now are BMW's and Infiniti's everywhere and a bunch of other luxury brands. I love the semi look in the headlights
i want one of these so bad!!!!!! i have a 07 yukon denali that i thought couldnt be touched, until now! the view of the interior is down right gorgeous and some people say the styling is ugly, but i thinkits sexy and different. thumbs up to infiniti!!!!
i must say, your videos are improving

@DutchManticore Perhaps your misusing the term undesirable, have you see the interior?
@theresagilmore would you mind mentioning the names of some out of those A LOT OF HIGH END VEHICLES who PURPOSELY dont bother sticking the leather to the base to increase leather's life and to prevent those ugly ripples.
Infiniti of Kirkland Used and Preowned Cars, your go-to spot for Infiniti as well as every other brand and your how-to source to spot if a car has been in an accident. We don't care who you buy from, we just want whatever it is you buy to be a car you love.
@GBraidi78 Overpriced? Have you sat inside of this thing?
@caddylade Please do put the vid up. I love this car, but my only reservations were the headlights. If you're able to fix that problem with your QX, I'd like to see it.
the interior is Nissan Patrol and it huge, nissan is doing a great job these days. btw good review
@05front soon, but i'd doubt it will have 420 hp. more torque so the horspower number will go down alittle bit. my guess is 20ish mpg highway, 380 hp and 410tq for next titan.
This is the nicest luxury SUV on the market IMO. I would have a hard time choosing this or the 2012 Jeep SRT-8
@MrAutodome they're actually functional vents
Wow I was not expecting a review this early in the game, the Car looks phenomenal!! Screw The Lexus LX and the Mercedes GL I rather have this thing over the over rated "under dogs". I can't help but think of a Rhino when I look at this....none the less it still looks good being unique

Thanks for the great video Jessi
@RossEnzo Come to NJ. Each Infiniti dealers has at least 5 of them in stock....at each dealer
Jessi you're absolutely worth checking out too~~ more than the car actually.
wow this thing looks amazing. I love Infiniti Q 56 I ride it every day my husband surprise me with one I don’t care what nobody have negative to say about this Infiniti it’s sexy and I love it❤️
Really?
@flatblackstrat huh? 3.5 sec !! ...
well am askin about how fast the car can get from 0-60 Mph (0-100 Kmph)
@flatblackstrat Japan only has 3 Infiniti cars labled Nissans, of those being the Nissan Fuga (M37) Nissan Skyline coupe & sedan (G37) Skyline crossover (EX35). great review nice and simple and great car .
the background music was goofy
watched only because jessi was in the video ,didnt even know what the car was
the car is alright
but jessi is amazing!
I like how she doesn't mention the last price, just the two that sound decently priced. 70,900.... dear lord.
Best large suv of the year?
To be honest...I'd rather get a van if the SUV looked like that. Doesn't matter how nice the inside is. But anyway, great review Jessi, seems like you tried to be more personal and less stiff this time. I've only been following RoadflyTV for a month or two, but this review is an improvement. Nice job.
@kokouae South park reference. It is most likely in the 7 8 second range.
i actually like the outside. It looks different than other trucks, which unfortunately look very similar
why cant the titan have that 5.6 V8?
@MrAutodome They are not fake chrome vents, weather or not they look unproportional & fake for your taste that is simply your opinion. Unlike other vehicle manufacturers the Infiniti FX and QX actually use side vents that serve a purpose and functionality to the car. The side vents & inlet is actually functional and operates as the intake point for the engine. Could the vents have looked nicer in terms of design? OF COURSE! but they have a purpose unlike other vehicles slapped on for decoration.
This is one HOT SUV and so is the Host. Wow good job Infinity.
Very good looking, understated yet gorgeous. The SUV is ok too.
What suv?
Is it just me, or is the new QX lacking lots of options the older model had? Don't get me wrong, I still like it but I think it's weird it lost so many features O.o
Escalade Platinum killin this Asian toy box....
@niteangel27 test drive one, or better yet try their sexier FX35 or FX50. That would change your perception. Watching it and driving one mades a lot of difference. please do more reviews with this girl she is good
Very good review!
@theresagilmore can you name some of them
@D3m0nL0rd1 I am a Dodge and Infiniti fan, but I must say this. For every car you mentioned Nissan has a competitor. Very nice car and Lang.
Oh yeah, she is pretty and the QX56 is gorgeous .
@IKBEASTLX Prices for the 2012 Qx56 start at an MSRP of $60,000 in the US and opting for a fully loaded model can price out to about $75,000.
Where is her seat belt?
i subbed cause of jessi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow Great Suv. Good Presentation makes me wanna buy one tomm. Very Attractive Good Job!
@Johncarson9113 No,the TC has the large roof. Also the lexus cars and trucks, ford edge I think, and the toyota venza. but this buick has a basic size roof it looks.
damn i wish we got infinity in australia
Why only 9.3 gigs? They couldn't tack on 50 bucks to the price of the car and give you 1 TB of storage?
отличная машина. японцы умеют делать высокотехнологичные, комфортные и большие машины.
I was tempted to say for that type of money id rather buy a jeep srt8. But this car cant be compared because its targeting different custimer base. This suv would definitely hold its value
@chiefmel424 in which department it it killing it?
Engine? no
ride quality? no
handling? no
interior? HELL no
if you look closely, there's a car in the video
@Illmatic662 yeah you are right i would not waste $500 on a poorly crafted jacket but burning $ 50k on a llame finished suv is not a big deal. i wasn't comparing the jacket to suv, it was an example about leather finish. and for your kind information i am looking for a large vehicle to buy and currently 2011 ram longhorn is #1 on my list the only thing that got infiniti qx out of my shopping list is the interior and i dont think i will even bother test driving this nissan patrol on steroids.
@D3m0nL0rd1 Nissan > Dodge though.
Why don't you wait for the next gen Titan?
dude, this is such a monsterous car. so bad ass im impressed.
I liked this review!
my dream car
But yes, your right we dont have the Nissan Patrol yet, but its coming to the states next year, it will be replacing the current Nissan Armada.
i still like the older model for their aggressive look...and this one looks like the nissan patrol.
@Illmatic662 Tell me this. Would you buy a leather coat/jacket with ripples at the seams or a leather chair or couch with ripples all over and call it style? How come something is unacceptable in clothes and luxury furniture and is style in a LUXURY car.
@muertomaniaco
she really is, her and Ross are some of my fav auto reviewers (and Top Gear, but in a different weigh...)
This vehicle has the same MPG figures as a BMW M3 (14 city/20 highway)
@carGT222 You'll want one in a month or so. This thing is a beauty, for it's size. The old one was nothing more than a sunday Armada. Very truckish with the last third of the back that didn't fit with the front. Anyway, just tastes ...
Good job Jesse.
