It's as big as a house and accelerates faster than most sports car. It have the latest tech yet hides it with simple styling. A true luxury vehicle without the pretentious attention whoring like other brands. Love it
We just bought (May 2023) the limited version for $28,500 out of the door. I am feeling really good about the purchase after seeing an $89,500 price tag before taxes, title, and fees! Not to mention the vehicle drives like a dream.
Naw, I bought a Mercedes GL instead. I like my cars to last more than a month, thanks. Nissan reliability has gone to shit in the last decade since they paired with Renault. A Japanese/French car... no thanks.
@@jamesp504 When has Nissan's reliability went to shit? The engine in this QX is old school which is known for its reliability because of its naturally aspirated V8 unlike Mercedes and other brands that use turbos that are really unreliable long term..
It looks much better in person than it does in video or pictures. Infiniti sells 2.5 times more QX80s than Toyota Land Cruisers and Lexus LXs combined.
No. It's ugly in person as well. And Infiniti reliability in North America is almost dead last according to consumer reports. Most people that buy one, trade it in within 24 months. It's a gaudy Nissan, pretending to be a luxury car. No thanks. I'll stick with Mercedes for $90k.
It's a much better value and just as capable. I almost never see Toyota Land Cruiser or Lexus LX on the road. There are plenty of Infiniti QX80 out there though.
+Passthedutch and you would rather pay that much for a vehicle with less travel range that is known for malfunctioning and crashing itself. Why is this a smarter decision?
What makes this car look very cheap is the Autozone looking, do-it-yourself, air vents on the front quarter panels. If Infiniti/Nissan put air vents on this car, they need to be molded into the sheet metal and not make it look like it was just glued on. Furthermore, Infiniti/Nissan needs to introduce a small displacement V8 that is turbo charged. That or add a supercharger to the V8.
I want nissan to make a truck to compete with the ford raptor, chevy reaper, and dodge rebel and supercharge the 5.6L v8 in that version. That would be insane
Payne Stancil Aren't the reaper and rebel like packages you have to have installed by a third party?Like I can go into a ford dealership and buy a raptor no issue at all,yet my friend working at a Chevy dealership says you can't do that with a reaper, maybe he means they are just far more rare but unless it's like the raptor in the sense where it's a part of their lineup from the factory, has a full warranty and can be purchased from a dealership with relative ease it isn't a competitor to the raptor, why?Because what makes the raptor so great isn't just it's outstanding capabilites,I'm sure the reaper/rebel are great here as well, but that the raptor has all the other benefits I just listed it's a ford product, not some bolted together in a shed offroader ,those are a dime a dozen. However,I could be wrong btw,did they discontinue the reaper/rebel if they are indeed factory vehicles?
I don't know exactly if the reaper is a factory product. I've seen them sitting at dealerships before but I'm not sure. Same with the Rebel. I've got a friend that has a rebel but I need to ask him if he bought it like that from the dealer, or got a package installed 3rd party like you said. Either way it's bad ass lol. Nissan revealed the Titan "Warrior" concept earlier last year and it looks extremely good. They have the 5.6 in the Titan already so I was saying they need to supercharge the 5.6 in the Warrior so it will be a lot faster and they'll sell more of them. Kinda like the raptor.
Payne Stancil I would love to see nissan build that concept lol.The reaper and rebel are still badass, not much of a truck guy,but if I were to buy a offroader,it would definitely be one of those. Can see the appeal of Jeeps and other similar, more kinda rock crawling centered vehicles but imo blasting around the desert at 90 mph is more my style lol.Plus living in Utah, you see a lot of Jeeps lol, would want something different.
Why did they give it the nicest interior of any luxury full-size SUV, especially the seats, but give it the front end of a whale and a nearly decade old infotainment system? The Mercedes GLS is the only one I can really thing of that's nicer, but it's nowhere near the same size class. Give it the Patrol's front end and the Murano's infotainment system and it would be without equal in its class and price range, but they took one of the best interiors to ever come out of Japan and ruined it with...everything else, really.
I think you mean GLS. And even then, I don't think people will be saying that when they have to pay that wonderful $8,000 for a new transmission, since Mercedes-Benz have been known for faulty electronics and mechanical components. I'd rather take my chances with the Infiniti.
+Jaylen Bond Nissan reliability isn't the best I'll give you that, but from what i know at least, Mercedes is worse. They're so bad their own customers destroyed their own brand new Mercedes due to quality and service issues. Even worse is the smug attitude of their dealership network. So i don't know who's worse, but I'd give that to MB personally.
It's as big as a house and accelerates faster than most sports car. It have the latest tech yet hides it with simple styling. A true luxury vehicle without the pretentious attention whoring like other brands. Love it
Its tech is outdated. Very.
It's actually not that big...
@@rolandbrown4584 it really is tho, I'm 260 lbs and still have room to move from side to side in the front and captain's chair's
@@rolandbrown4584 it’s longer then a regular Escalade
94 mph in the 1/4 is impressive for something the size of a studio apartment..
Best suv in the world
Brian Papilleras Is the ford explorer for the price at least

Still enjoying your purchase? Curious to know how you feel after a year of ownership.
18 mpg isn't too bad. My old Explorer averaged that and it had a pushrod V6.
Looks boss, and a great color combination, inside and out.
Haters gonna hate, but if haters weren't so broke-ass, they'd drive it and love it.
how can hate on something that looks like that??
Naw, I bought a Mercedes GL instead. I like my cars to last more than a month, thanks. Nissan reliability has gone to shit in the last decade since they paired with Renault. A Japanese/French car... no thanks.
cheers to that
Passthedutch 9890 Gls is a ugly looking price of. Trash (not saying that this isn't) but still Gk's cost more is small af and is slower case closed
@@jamesp504 When has Nissan's reliability went to shit? The engine in this QX is old school which is known for its reliability because of its naturally aspirated V8 unlike Mercedes and other brands that use turbos that are really unreliable long term..
Your either gonna love or hate this vehicle. I love it. Nobody seems to be on the fence in the comments lol. Either one way or another.
it's still more luxurious than escalade and navigator
Beautiful SUV
What about the 2016 qx60
it actually reminds me of an Orca - Killer Whale. All it needs is a black and white paint job.
I have that same year and color, but mine has the theater package with cream white leather seats...she's a beauty!
Love the styling
It looks much better in person than it does in video or pictures.

It's because Infiniti QX80 is better.
It's a much better value and just as capable. I almost never see Toyota Land Cruiser or Lexus LX on the road. There are plenty of Infiniti QX80 out there though.
I see QX80 everyday.
gedaman because it's cheaper than those two cars
Deciding between this and a Yukon Denali
Not old GM anymore. Japan product will last longer.
Great job by infiniti qx80 best suv
it looks like a giant pt cruiser that took a trip to autozone
that interior is nice though
I was going to say giant Kia Soul. I agree with you, the interior is nice.
It's my obsession 🤩
love it worth the extra cash than the nissan
Good buy, as long as you have a fat bank account! Oh, there's always the Nissan Armada.
The fancy Patrol.
to pricey for my tastes if i charged my 41 year old son that lives at home maybe i could buy one
marqde1 😂
Lmfao
Wow beautiful car.😍😱😱😱
looks much better at 5:16
Keep it up until 100k miles and your looking at around $180 in total. Interest, Maintenance/Repairs, and Gas
trust the auto play next clip to be of the $90k tesla model x which costs the same as the limited here...
... And has been in the news for driving itself into walls and crashing itself. Let me weigh which one is better...
+Jo Co I'd much rather own a Tesla over this beached whale. who in their right mind pays $90k for a Nissan? you'd have to be a total moron.
+Passthedutch and you would rather pay that much for a vehicle with less travel range that is known for malfunctioning and crashing itself. Why is this a smarter decision?
Charles Macgilchrist After I was thinking of buying this, someone asked me if I preferred this Qx80 Limited or Tessa model X. Decided the Qx80.
Charles Macgilchrist except that costs like $140k. HUGE difference. limited is useless - you can get almost everything here for 75k with the standard.
Love it!
Someday............
Looks like that space ship on Lilo & Stitch The Movie
so niceeeeeeeee but very expensive!!!!
Not enough luggage capacity behind the rear seat for me .
Way too big, but very comfy inside.
Own a 2017; ❤❤❤❤
Last good SUV nissan made was pathfinder and qx4
So damn beautiful 😍
I like it. $ 60k would perfected price. Premium $65k
Eye lyke it!
Nissan's Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum, not as cool…
love it to rich for my blood

mikealanzo sorry to bust your bubble but yeah I was

giant nose on wheels
More like beached whale on wheels
well all large body on frame SUV's are heavy does not matter if its from Lexus, Cadillac, ford, land rover they are all chunks
+justin bouche I mean it legit looks like a beached whale its hideous
oh ahaha careful, i hear altigmer coming for you, he knows when someone insults his precious nissan
I thought it did look like a rhino at first; but the looks have grown on me since first impression.
😊😊😊

+Maximiliano Luera The new name for the full size Mercedes SUV formally known as GL.
It's so incredibly gaudy, vulgar and over the top, there's a slight appeal in it.
How ugly can one SUV be lol. The Nissan is better but still way too much kitsch all around.
barf
Women seemed to love the look of these Infinitys. I don't get it. I think they're pretty ugly.
Just plain old.
What a BORING design!
