They should be drummed out of the business.when those boxes of this very expensive product are opened, they should take their time to ensure their audience that there is nothing left over in the box. When the do it very quickly, like these robbers did it (and remove it from view of the camera), you know something shifty is going on.

I was watching that break live and noticed the redemption right away, but I completely missed the slight of hand he pulled with the box. That's a great catch. I try not to get into the breaks that G does himself cause of how rough he is on the cards as he sleeves them. Plus how he stacks the whole case up in one pile. I think I know now why he does it that way. Thanks for pointing this out.

That was the first thing I noticed when I started watching this, the way he shoves them in the sleeves so fast there's no way you can be protecting the corners as you're putting them in the sleeves that fast. I'm careful and I don't go fast and I still catch the corners sometimes on regular cards.
Who would ever buy into these guys’ breaks?? First time I watched them years ago I always wondered why customers put up with their crap. Wears clunky gloves to avoid touching the surface (news flash, finger prints can be removed!!), only to damage the cards by throwing them around and shoving them in sleeves. You can actually here corners snagging when he sleeves.

Beyond impressed with you uncovering this. You have thousands of ppl watching this. Saving ppl 10’s of thousands of dollars. Your sub count deserves to go up big time. This hobby needs more ppl like you. I don’t care how long they’ve been around for or how good there reputation is, they need to be shut down. All of these scammers do.
The hobby has no place for this. Some of these cards can be life changing, the utter disregard for the cards in this video on top of the scam, very sickening to watch.

What everyone is missing is you have no idea that the Justin Fields is the redemption that is the slight of hand and was switched. I'm certain that the actual redemption was much better and they've switched it for a lesser card. Hence covering the camera going through the trash, which the person outside the room had time to grab others. 100% they do this all the time and know exactly what they're doing.
This was my thought exactly. That Justin Fields could have been sitting there as a “replacement” for a higher value redemption in the event that they were called out.

I stopped breaking with them 5-6 years ago. He was reaching out in the chat trying to cut side deals on teams in breaks. Believe it, he has been scamming anyway he can since the beginning. They are a complete disgrace to the hobby.

The tone of his voice when he says, “Who said that there was one in the box?” is one of such disappointment and defeat. It translates to, “Who caught me in the act of trying to steal this card?” 3:09
If you notice when he throws all the “empty” boxes on the table he pick them up one by one. When he got to the box with the redemption he slid if over before grabbing making it the last one he shows. Plus it was the only box that was closed. Meaning he puts the 2 half’s back together knowing it was in there! Great job with the video that was crazy

Great catch and incredible work! I’ve never broken with these guys, and even if it wasn’t for this scam, I would never break with someone who handles cards so poorly. There are cards that are worth life-changing money in NT football, and he is just slamming the cards on the table and smacking them together with zero regard for potentially damaging them. And of course this scam completely puts it over the top - they should be out of business by tomorrow and I don’t know how anyone could trust them after this.
People are idiots and EVERY SINGLE PERSON that continues breaking with them (or anyone that gets caught cheating and there is a solid proof) actually DESERVE to be duped. It is very simple to me. If you are dealing with someone who stole (attempted to steal) before how can you expect to not be stolen from you? That is beyond stupid.

Don’t let this discourage you from getting into breaks. You just need to do your research before joining like you do with anything else you spend decent money on!! I’ve been in some amazing breaks that I only spent like $30-50 dollars and got back $1-1200 worth of cards lol. Just find a trusted breaker and have a blast man!
Thanks for putting this out here. Too many shady breakers out here ripping people off. Several breakers on Whatnot I stay away from A Chick Rips, Swishbreaks are shady for sure.

Why would G remove the box from the table knowing damn well he was going to dig boxes out of the trash… and put it into the bag only to dig it out? This is terrible on them. What bothers me even worse is his “redemption” video where he DEFENDS his actions and doubles down trying to say it’s his ‘haters’. I don’t think I could ever bring myself to ever break with them ever again. I’d implore others to follow suit.
Had he left the box on the table with the redemption in it he’d have been caught. He thought he could slip it back into trash then pull it out with redemption and act like it was an accident. He set that box off to the side and I hope nobody breaks w them again

I have been breaking with platinum card brakes for years. I cannot believe this they are the biggest scammers in the business. I will no longer break with them. Thank you so much for putting this video together.

Great catch man. I used to upload vids back in 2018-2019, but stopped (along with using my IG account) bc it attracted so many scammy/greedy people. I’ve been collecting for over 20 years, but felt like I needed to step away from the community (not the hobby though) for while until things settle down. Wow - great work brother! Can’t stand snakes/scammers. These breakers (especially these big ones)are making so much damn money and to pull this on their customers shows these clowns are the some of the greediest filth on this planet.
When a breaker takes every card out of all the boxes then puts the base on top like that it makes it very hard for customers to realize if a card is missing out of any of the boxes if you did 1 at a time and it's a 5 card box and only has 4 in it you would know off the bat.. these guys have been doing this for a while from my observations

Ya with NT being 8 cards it was only 32 total so I assume someone would be counting. I’d have rather him done 4 piles of 8 so guys could count easily.
That 2:08 slight of hand (arm) was really alarming.. Accidents do happen and I wanna give him the benefit of the doubt, but WOW.. The multitude of circumstantial video evidence in this video is nuts. The hand hiding, arm swinging actions really seem like he was trying to steal it and figured he got caught. Maybe he thought it was a 1/1? Who knows? I’ve broken with these guys here and there throughout the years, and I always hoped I didn’t get him as a breaker because of the speed that he goes. He’s just all over the place, especially with the recaps that he flys through. Not trying to talk shit, just being honest. Stuff like this wouldn’t happen or the assumption wouldn’t happen if you had your customers in mind and not be wild like that. I am who I am is a shitty excuse when ya should act professional. If it is what it is, then that’s you losing out on business. It doesn’t matter how successful you’ve been in the past, people change. Very tough look for Platinum.. 🤦♂️

How you know he did it intentionally is because he picked up the box and then asked for the trash bag. All he had to do was check it first
Group breaking for profit has killed the soul of the hobby. They started out nice and fun but they quickly got way out of hand.

I promise you this breaker channel has been sketchy since their inception. I called them out years ago for being shady. They deleted comments, banned me, and then sent their minions to attack me for daring to question them. I wonder how many of those minions have lost out in the long run. I hate seeing this for the hobby, but nice catch to the author. We all get to choose where to spend our money, hopefully enough will see this, that platinum will fade away for good.
I watched Gs explanation. That he put the empty box over to the right to put the fatter card in for later. What doesn't make sense is why the slight of HAND. When he called the kid to come with the garbage. He grabs the box and turns to the trash with the redemption box, puts the 2 halfs together, then puts them all on camera. Breaks my heart to see this. Why be so fast. I break slowly, some say to slow. I want to make sure everything is there for all to see.

I thought.... maybe it was possible to not see it in the box. This makes me very angry and sad. I am a smaller breaker on Facebook with about 1300 members. We do smaller single hobby box and retail breaks for 🏈⚾️🏀, and we do not mark up our breaks very much. Groups like this are making tens of thousands of dollars every month, yet they still try to steal from their members. Honesty and integrity are paramount when building a breaking community. I know that my members spend their hard earned money on our breaks and we do everything we can to go above and beyond for them. The nerve of these people to steal from those who trust them and are invested in their business is disgusting. Something like this should be a death sentence for their business.

Awesome video and breakdown of this scam - the way you picked up on all of subtle moves where he moves the box off camera and then from the left to the right cupping it was excellent. I don’t do breaks, and if I did after watching this I would ask for a refund for every last dime. Once fanatics takes over this business and cuts out all the breakers and distributors maybe we will see product get back to collectors and prices that are somewhat normal.
