Cheap Baitcaster Reel Upgrade/Repair - Drag Not Tight?

A quick walk though to repair/upgrade your cheaper baitcasing reels. If your drag is tight all the way but every time you set on a fish... your drag is loose? You most likely need to replace your drag washers. It is a cheap fix, and can be easy if you follow some of our tips. Like I said this is one of the best reels for the price, Bass Pro Pro Qualifier 2. It seems bass pro is getting rid of this model. If you can find it at your local BP I would scoop it up for $60!
You can find carbon drag washers on eBay! They are cheap and will last you a good while.

I believe that the DOYO factory makes Lews, Abu Garcia and Basspro reels according to each company’s specifications.
