The scaled leather set increases the damage done by weapons when worn and can speed up the leveling process when "feeding" the enchant, and so does the Discipline boon. Also, fire rags/varnishes applied to the weapon increase the damage done per hit as well. Assassin potions when consumed with a bow in hand can "varnish" the bow with extra decay damage.
Yet another useful/helpful video! SheenShots is the man! My personal favorite is the vampiric bow, so I can heal from a distance and it also works great with my speed/bow builds. Sometimes I carry a vampiric bow with my mage build for extra healing from a distance. All vampiric weapons are pretty cool though. Pick your fav and leech away!
The bow is a very good option. Especially if you come out of a fight with very little health and don't have any potions. Time to plink away and health from afar!
I think there is a bug concerning vampiric weapons: they lose progress toward full blood satisfaction if you drop them or place them in an inventory other than your backpack. It happened to me once, so maybe I'm wrong.
Nice video again! I'm going to be working on these weapons for my next character so it was pretty funny seeing you upload a video about them. Keep up the good work 👍
I wish those weapons were animated All those fleshy bits attached to bones, it actually looks alive and so cool! But only if you're not holding it, otherwise it's so stiff :D
Lol the fun part of making this thumbnail was that I had to cut out the background in between all those fleshy bits. There are way more than I first realized 😂
The amount of blood gained by the vampiric weapons depends on the amount of damage you deal with it. Say, an iron-vampiric dagger will acquire x6 times more blood if you use them with opportunist stab IF you inflict Pain and Confusion on your enemies first (easy with Cannon pistol loaded with Shatter bullet). Even more so if you use a Masterpiece weapon in your main hand (+25% more damage) AND imbue them both with Fire or Ice Imbues using Kazite Spellblade's skill.
Wear armor that increases damage or damage type then imbue the weapon with an elemental buff. All that stacks towards the damage amount. You can do it in 1/3 the time wirh this method.
I find the vampiric knuckles to be really useful for some enemies, that may hit you often, the health leach is really good. Squishy archers also benefit from one, If hit, just swap to a vampiric bow and heal up without needing to use a potion. If anyone wants one of these weapons note that all damage buffs and elemental imbues count towards the damage you need.
I didn't even think about the knuckles being that good. They are the fastest attacking weapon in the game so I can see why. Time for a new vampire build lol!
Hey guys it’s been two years since you uploaded this video and there are still a lot of Issues for what regards the thirst enchantment. I was close to make my iron claymore quenched but i dropped it by mistake and when I checked its status it said I was back to thirsty. I tried killing enemies with it again and now i guess it got even worse because it tells me it’s not even thirsty anymore… it says “ absent thirst” what do I have to do?
I don't know if my hunch is right but I think pulling the lever in berg cabal wind temple counts as "damage dealt by the weapon" so long as you have it equipped when you pull the lever. not sure though, but i did feel like my weapon quenching progressed much faster when i did some silver runs using it(the cabal wind temple silver cheese).
Interesting... this would be really helpful if it works. I will give it a shot sometime. It takes absolutely forever to do on regular enemies and it is not a very strong weapon when it is just iron lol
@sheenshots - Do you have access to a group of people that are looking for people to play co-op with? I’d like assistance/ company as I love the game but would love a brother (sister) in arms! 😎
There is a link in my descriptions to my personal discord channel. But you may also want to check the Outward discord. I see people playing in there from time to time.
On mouse and keyboard it is v I believe. Check the lower right of the box and it might tell you as well. Can't remember exactly at the moment but thought it said somewhere in very small writing.
Yes. The infuse works separately and at a 10% amount of damage dealt. The weapon has its own 10% meaning you could get 20% of your damage back as health every time you hit the enemy.
You have to actually deal damage with the weapon. This does take a while, but wearing scaled leather armor makes it go a bit faster. Just gives you extra physical damage which does add up for the enchantment.
This is the challenging part, and I honestly just recommend playing the game with that iron weapon and trying not to focus on it. Because it takes awhile. However, here are a few things that can speed up the process a bit: -wear armor that has a physical damage bonus -sleep in a tent outside cierzo (bandits can spawn in for fast and easy kills.) -sleep outside in the Antique Platoue (bloody beasts can be defeated there) -if you are skilled enough at harder enemies with more health those are good to go after (Wendigo, shell horror, rock mantis) -Some skills offer a damage boost depending on what weapon you are using (opportunist stab, moonswipe, puncture, jugernaut, etc.)
No these actually came with the soroboreans DLC so you will only need that to get them. This is also the Antique Platoue area that can be reached by traveling with the soroborean caravanner.
My weapon I think is bugged, whenever I get a kill it doesn’t show that blood absorbing effect and I’m worried I’m grinding for nothing. This is literally the last achievement I need in Outward to have them all.
the pllar refuse to accept incense , this is great video all accept the part were the incense just doesnt go in and the whole project stops , might want to figure out wtf ... but this item isnt happening and this video isnt worth the time
Well, you will need an iron weapon on the table. then the pillars need to go on the ground. Incense can then be placed into the pillars after they are set up. I am not sure what your issue is because I have never had this problem, but incense is just inserted into a pillar after it is placed down. Unfortunately, I can't help out more than that.
Currently quenching my first ever vampire spear. Many thanks to you! You’ve helped such a tremendous amount throughout my outward journey

Great tips here! This process can suck but there are ways to improve the experience.

Haven't had this happen, but it could be. I do know they take forever to fully quench so it would be hard to test unfortunately.
Just farm the horrors near berg and after like 4 runs finished my grind really quick

Can you do a video listing your favourite weapons!? Or ones that are the most useful. A video similar to your armour one!
100% on it! Great idea!
@@SheenShots Sweet! Thanks!

@@SheenShots did you try it?
Curious to know as well
Nope, the cabal wind zappy technique does NOT work. It'd be cool if it did but just tested it five times and... Parched.
Thanks for trying this. Would have been great if it did work. @@nothingcanstopnoodles
Nice video!
Is it posible to use it in knuckles?
due to cadence of attack it may be a true leecher weapon (didnt tested)
I believe iron knuckles work for this. They would be insane for sure lol. Run in and regen health while you beat the enemy to death LOL

how did you inspect the enchantment telling you that you'd acquired thirst? I can't find the right button for this
On mouse and keyboard it is v I believe. Check the lower right of the box and it might tell you as well. Can't remember exactly at the moment but thought it said somewhere in very small writing.
@@SheenShots I figured it out. I had changed the default settings to have v be my character menu shortcut. It overrides the inspect function
do melee abilities (predator leap, perfect strikem etc) count towards feeding the weapon?
Yes those skills will also work.
Thanks 🙏 sheenshots
You got it Sean 😎
Does the vampiric weapon effects stack with blood infuse?
Yes, it does!
Yes. The infuse works separately and at a 10% amount of damage dealt. The weapon has its own 10% meaning you could get 20% of your damage back as health every time you hit the enemy.
@@SheenShots does the 10% blood leech work through like 10-20 protection (&/or barrier)?
do you need to kill using the weapon for thirst? can i equip it and use magic?
You have to actually deal damage with the weapon. This does take a while, but wearing scaled leather armor makes it go a bit faster. Just gives you extra physical damage which does add up for the enchantment.
Is there a specifica place where you can farm those 17k damage cuz i'm really struggling with that

@@SheenShots Thx for the advices man, i like how you answer to anyone in any video i can see how much passion you put in those videos ❤
How much extra dps does it do?
More than double the physical damage of an iron weapon. Note that except for the bow and dagger, all vampiric weapons have a 0.9 attack speed.
@@fulopistvan5578 thx
Hell yeah sometimes legacy the kindling enchanted vampiric bow so i can blast into the meat of the game lol

If I still had Outward installed I would boot it up and look for you! Sorry, I forget..@@gabrieltheviolist183
How many time need for quenched weapon .
You will need to do around 17,000 damage I believe. It goes considerably faster if you throw on armor that increases your physical damage.

Do i need dlc for this?
This will require the soroboreans DLC only. If you have Definitive Edition it comes with it.
