There are a number of oil wells around the world you can loot for this, too. You can also use scavenged iron and buy the oil instead, but that'll result in less profits.
I mentioned in this video that the explosion in the Cabal Wind Temple can kill your coop partner. This is actually false. I retested it and it turns out it won't kill you. Sorry for the misinformation!
@@Voltomess do it I wasn't sure either but when it's on sale it's a great deal and really fun once you get the hang of it! I would also definitely suggest coop if you are able to
Not sure if it's a console thing only. Didn't notice it on yours but in vendaval fortress the ornate chest lever sits up higher than all the others. Just something cool I figured I'd mention to help out other players.
One of my favorite ways of making money in this game is simply to grind for crafting parts and making “special” weapons to sell off. For instance the horror sword sells for 600, and to be completely honest it’s not that hard to make given some time and slight experience or guides like the one with the 7 big boys. That’s like easily 5 swords which is equivalent to 3,200 silver. I might be missing some details or key points so this may seem stupid? but just something I thought I’d ought to mention.
You've got the right idea there! Horror weapons in particular are quite easy to make if you have Horror Chitin. Luckily, as you mentioned, someone made a video on how to get a ton of the stuff 😁.
I agree this is the one of the fastest way. Just don't forget to buy ALL the palladium scrap and occult remains from merchants (or farm near/in Hives with fire weapon), I think I made more than 4000 thousand after 1 run one hour into the game.
Do not do what he does with spamming the Tent to sleep 7 days... make sure you have a HOUSE at the nearby city... or a Plant Tent (As these give you food/water as you sleep).
I remember my first playing was getting absolutely wrecked till I found my first artifact weapon 😂😂 that fire axe 🪓 u getting in the dessert then get destroying everything then found the mace 😂😂 and had to lure that motherfucker into the room were u put the idol and it has those 2 fire elemental horse's 😭🤣🤣🤣
You should absolutely not sell your Horror Chitin. The best money maker I've found is a run through the Ernmerkar Forest where you make and sell horror weapons. One run can easily be done in ~30min or less and will net you enough mats to make 4 horror weapons which sell for 750 silver a pop (or 900 in Levant). All you do is clear the Wind Temple as shown in this video which will net you 4 horror chitin while killing the Illuminators will give you predator bones (you need 8). Then head east towards the Hives and kill a few of the hive enemies for their occult remains and then head back to Berg. If you look up a map of the region, you'll also see that this route takes you past 5 palladium deposits and you'll need 4 of them. Then just buy 4 2handed Iron weapons from the smith in Berg and make the horror weapons. You'll need 1 Iron weapon, 2 predator bones, 1 linen cloth, 1 palladium scrap, 1 horror chitin and 1 occult remain per weapon. And there you go, ~3k silver (3.6k in Levant) for a fairly easy run. The only slight challenge is killing the Hive enemies, but they're easily taken down with ranged attacks (bows, guns, spells, etc.), even early in the game.
Yes, I used to sell it and found out after that it is much more profitable to craft the horror weapons. Super easy to make and you can get the materials pretty easily.
Just happy to see people still play this game. I freaking love this game and just got my friend into it and playing it coop. So many weird builds and stuff to do. I would love 1 new zone since I wasn’t a huge fan of the three brothers zone.
I myself was a huge fan of the DLC, until it came to the town... The Kazite actually live in a town made of boats on the water. I think this would be a really cool new area and would give us more lore on this cool group of people.
If you wanna keep sleeping through 7 day cycles, just keep your eyes open for a plant-tent-seed. I believe the Soroborean Caravanner in Berg is the easiest way to get one if you're starting a new character.
I think the best way to make money as a newcomer is the Cabal Wind Temple. However, the hardest part is getting the big guy in the elevator as you said in this video. If its your first time, there is a significantly high chance that you will indeed die because he can two shot you in the elevator and you must pull the lever to go down while under stress. The better way to approach this is to play split screen and make a new character that does the entire Wind temple run for your main character while you wait upstairs near the starting point close to the explosion lever. That way if the newly created character dies you can just end split screen, and make another new character to finish the run. This is good because your newly made character will likely die in the elevator as it is going down, and you can just spawn a new character to continue what he didn't finish. Creating a new character also helps you as it can act as a mule for gear because you likely won't be able to carry all that gear back after the run.
That is the manawall armor. It is found by legacy chesting Barrier armor. You can grab it from ornate chests in the Caldera region. Once turned into manawall it offers really good speed, ethereal damage, and defense. Lots of defense.
Two extremely important tidbits of info. First off, if you want to wait out 7 days, buy a Plant Tent and plant it in the town. Your food and water are provided by the tent, and the tent becomes a permanent fixure in the town so you can always use it when you go back to town. Second, you missed an amazing way to get good money early game: Mine mana stones on Conflux Mountain. Why? You have a chance to get Hackmanite, which sells for 50 silver a pop. You might get none, you might get a lot, but it's usually worth the trip.
Great tips. Mana mining can be extremely lucrative and requires very little skill to accomplish. Just don't forget a pickaxe or you're walking back to town lol.
Crafting gold lich weapons and shields are a great way to make some fast silver. As long as you can kill the golden golems in and around the gold lich's tower, there's a good chance they will drop gold lich mechanisms that you can combine with iron weapons and some firefly dust to make weapons that sell for I believe 300-400 a piece. You can get a lot of them in a single run through the tower and the firefly's are all over the marsh for free dust, as well as bandits for basic weapons to convert. You can make several thousand silver in about 30 minutes with this method, and can sleep 7 days to reset the tower to do it again.
I ended up using the iron scrap technic after I first watched this video, but I did it a bit differently. I killed crock early with traps once I had enough saved up because I wasn’t geared enough to kill him in a fight. I spent the entire time before that saving up all scrap I could. I’d scrap all the weapons from bandits, I’d buy the scrap from vendors as long as it cost less than 5 silver, I hit the iron nodes, anything I could and kept it in my stash (before that I’d sell all scrap I could get from the mine by letting them capture me while Crock was still alive). Then after I had killed him and brought all the scrap in I repeated the process farming chersonese for awhile just to get better gear from lucky drops, save up good crafting materials and learn recipes, got a decent character all without leaving the starting region. Whenever my scrap got heavy enough in my stash I’d take it all to vendaval and sell again. It slightly slowed down my immediate gain holding so much scrap for a while instead of selling the gear, but with everything else I can sell I still had enough money to do what I wanted until the next scrap drop. Ended up having about 3k silver in a few hours of solo play, not much sleeping for the region to reset so about a week and a half in game time.
That is an insane amount to get from the iron exploit. People complain about how hard it is to get silver sometimes, but the reality is that you just need to do this right here to have a good amount of money in the beginning. Thanks for trying it out and giving us some feedback!
@@SheenShots granted the money I made wasn’t entirely from scrap only, but the vast majority of it was. The rest came from selling things that were too valuable to scrap into iron or things I wasn’t gonna use that rot or were just not useful for me at the time
Just a quick tip for farming the Ornate Chest: - Do NOT sleep in your tent but buy the house and sleep in the bed!! You will not have to worry about hunger and thirst. - If you still wanna camp out, use Plant Tent! Plant Tent will fill your hunger and thrist
One of my personal favourite places to make money is the kazite bandit camp on the west side of the antique plateau. Clearing the bandits is easy even with an early-ish game character and the loot can sell for the total of at least 1000 silver (if you have the capacity to carry everything)
Do NOT sell the Horror Chitin. Use a fang weapon (Sword or trident is good) and combine it with the horror chitin, palladium, and occult remains to make a Horror weapon. These sell for 750 EACH or 900 in Levant! With the amount of horror chitin you can get at the wind temple that's thousands of silver. Just buy the other ingredients if you have to, they're cheap compared to what you'll make.
Thanks for the video. Quick question, why didn't you have any corruption fumes at the cabal wind temple? Do i need to do a puzzle somewhere to turn that off? Or was this something added in Definitive edition so low level characters don't exploit?
That was added in definitive edition. It does make it a bit harder to do, but not much. You should still be okay as long as you just try to bring them into the main area and blow them up quickly.
My personal money making bonus scheme at the start is crabeye seeds, thick oil and metal scraps in Chersonese. Easy to find and collect with no starting skills, light weight and with the alchemist set easy to make charges with for sale.
Another great idea! Crafting often gets overlooked in this game but that is actually where all the true currency lies. Even crafting with plants can get you some decent coin.
@@SheenShots Yup, after watching your videos I decided to replay the game and have been trying to get as much money as possible to be able to buy up all the skills I need. Only have one skill tree completed so far but almost enough to complete the other 2. Crafting, cooling and alchemy is a good way to increase the value of random items.
Good content. Seems to me not many have centred information for New Soroco, thanks to yours I now now where to find that bandits back pack, I think that's the name. I have watched many builds that don't seem to work in the The Three Brothers area. So this may be an idea for you.
I do plan on moving towards the Caldera content here soon. It is a little harder to do since it is very end-game content. Thanks for the idea! Also, a little hit for the Three Brothers DLC... totems are much better than they seem. I'm working on a build currently that might be what you are looking for.
If you have the DLC, you could take the horror chitin and make horror weapons and sell them in Berg. The great axe sells for 750 in Berg, 900 in Levant.
When i need gold from scratch at the start of the game i usually go up conduit mountain, mine all mana stones (12 are the ones i know, but there are more, harder to reach, not worth imo), then walk to the beach, fish all the fish and grab all the blue sand from both beach and cave (average 8 blue sand but if lucky it can get up to 16-17) then just go back and sell everything. Some RNG is needed for Hackmanite (one in three drop rate) but on average i get 350-400 gold without killing anything. This can be repeated every 7 days too i believe and takes no effort, also you can do a lot more stuff while around so you don't necessarily have to go out just for the gold farm, you can just do it along other things.
Just bought it because it’s on sale at ps store restarted a bunch of times and got kind of discouraged because I kept dying really easily but it was cool to explore and collect inreallly want to get into an rpg and I’m homing I get past the learning curve with this one
I really hate when games "fix" things like this iron thing, this is not an exploit in my opinion. This game can be very challenging and would really help to have a decent amount of money to start with, oh well I was looking forward to selling my iron. Can I still get down here if I sneak in?
I believe you have to be captured to get down there now and do it. if you can by sneaking in you may need to kill the first two guards for a prison key and then that's it. Will need to look into more for sure though.
@@SheenShots I will try and let you know, hopefully I can still get the food backpack after killing the first guy at the table that likes to drink who name slips me atm.

@@elevenfingers2174 Ya which kinda sucks. Head ot the Cabal wind temple and do that one. Then try to craft worror weapons. Palladium, fang weapon, occult remains, horror chitin. That will sell for the most in the game. Hive enemies drop occult remains all the time.

As a Tank in this game Potions are your Wife, Mistress, Madam, you will always need a Shit ton so go get the Backpack with the most Weight and the Alchemy Backpack. And Collect every ingredient that you pass especially adamantium Pickaxe required to get the better gear. Oh Yeah if you plan to Grind Tsar just get Some wine and drink it upon a Grave to get Tsar repeat for like 8 times and get a Multiplayer or Split screen to get the Tsar on a Different character. Why? The Chonk armor heavy AF but you will be a god against any Physical damage Potions with the right timing will Give you 70-80 Elemental Defense. For early tank gear i would get the Palladium Gear and the Rainbow shield with the Tuanasaur Axe.
Yes that area did get changed due to that. I suggest saving up enough to buy one or two potions from the alchemist in Berg before you go there. After that you can turn the horror chitin into horror weapons and sell those for more money that what I got in the video. This will more than make up for the money spent on potions and give you enough for extra potions you might need.
I dont think the vendavel stuff works anymore in DE... cant get the slaves to buy any iron.. no dialogue options on any of them except the merchant.. also it looks like there is only one pickaxe on the table now
Yes, there are several changes for this video, but the biggest one is that the vendeval exploit does not work anymore. The others may need altered a bit, but should hold enough to complete.

Ik this video is old. BUT HOW DOES YOUR WIND TEMPLE HAVE NO CORRUPTION IN IT😭😭😭. I went there to farm horror weapons after seeing how much they go for in Levant and then got defiled. Had a stupid ghost following me till I could make enough money to go to and get t3 hex mage and come back. Worst put was I didn't put much money away so I couldn't even use the money I got from going to and from Levant.. All good now tho just chillin at 7000ish silver trying to see what I wanna do build wise
Why is no one looting the stone titan cave in Abrassar? there's 2 captains in there with sword and shields that sell for quite a bit, + some smaller dudes with shields, all in all i get around 1.7k every 20ish minutes. There is even a faster way to do this, using new characters and legacy chests but that's too boring.
There's also a really easy ornate chest in a valley in south west lavant that you can just run to (in the tent in the valley with the shell horror), Then run over to the huge hive thing ; once inside run down to the right and you'll fall down a hole; follow that to the end and there's another ornate chest. Get killed -> wake up in lavant and sleep in a plant tent(no thirst/hunger req) for 7 days and repeat.
When you go farming the chitin, dont forget to say, that you should craft horror weapons to sell them. 1 run chitin farming with selling them in Levant will give you 5k to 6k silver. And not easy bit possible the 100 Gold for the compass puzzle

hey sheen. involing the last method in the wind temple. tents op. draw enemies with tent. much easier.
Set up a camp in the city and use the plant tent makes things a little less annoying lol
I don’t know… I have watched enough anime to know that the naked guy in the straw hat is the hidden boss beast. 😂 thanks for the videos!
Lol in anime he would be the one with all the gold in the background. Glad I ca help!
Im having more trouble spending silver. Also looting all the Mana stones in Conflux is best at the start + ether particle and 2 dreamers roots for incense to sell.
I just reinstall the game today n wanted to give it a try..i knw da game is hard i had lots of fun back the ..bt i dint finish it..hopefully with this guide i cn start fresh easily..ty! If u have any guide on a sword n shield build pls do tell me!..as im not interested in mana/magic
This guide is mostly accurate, but leaves out some corruption in the cabal wind temple. Also be aware that the vendaval fortress trick doesn't even work at all now in DE
@@SheenShots ahhh dayumm it doesn't work for mining ores..sheesh.. hmm thz for da update 🤔
@@SheenShots are you still playing this ? any guides for DE since the above does't work anymore?
Bro what is that slick armor and axe you got? And are those enchanted?
That is the Manawall armor set. It is found by getting barrier armor from Caldera ornate chests and legacy chesting it into the manawall set. Lots of movement speed and ethereal damage bonus.
Here is a link to a video that explains the weapon:

If you wanna Go tank GOOD FUCKIN LUCK.
The whole area is filled with Corruption in the Definitive edition, any suggestions or work around a?
Yes that area did get changed due to that. I suggest saving up enough to buy one or two potions from the alchemist in Berg before you go there. After that you can turn the horror chitin into horror weapons and sell those for more money that what I got in the video. This will more than make up for the money spent on potions and give you enough for extra potions you might need.
That dude in the elevator was an asshole first time I cleared this place! Great guide!!
LOL, he can be such a pain sometimes. Thanks!
get a pickaxe and go through the blue chamber conflux path, profit
Very good way to make money in Chersonese.
the cabal wind dungeon has a whole bunch of corruption has everywhere, any way to get rid of it ?
Yes, there are potions sold my alchemist merchants. They are the little cubed shaped red ones. More info later but that should help I hope.
how much time to respawn the mobs in arena and the pickaxes
?
Should be 7 days of sleep to reset the outside world.
What weapon is that?
That is a unique great axe from the Caldera region. Here is a link to my video on how to get it:

@@SheenShots thank you for the help! Greatly appreciated
did they nerf these tips N Trickz
eyyy wind cabal temple muneh run. i do the same thing for my playthroughs.
Nice! It is one of the best ways to make quick money.
Well, you didn't mention 2 main sources of silver. Horror two handed weapons craft and Gold Lich weapons craft.
I recently made a much improved way to make money in Outward. Here is the vid if you would like to check it out:
th-cam.com/video/T0zEeWmFvig/w-d-xo.html
Ik this video is old. BUT HOW DOES YOUR WIND TEMPLE HAVE NO CORRUPTION IN IT😭😭😭. I went there to farm horror weapons after seeing how much they go for in Levant and then got defiled. Had a stupid ghost following me till I could make enough money to go to and get t3 hex mage and come back. Worst put was I didn't put much money away so I couldn't even use the money I got from going to and from Levant.. All good now tho just chillin at 7000ish silver trying to see what I wanna do build wise
Hope there will be more quick slots in outward DE
A lot of people have been asking for this lol.
@@SheenShots more convenient than open the skill menu and active them one by one
@@alexpricefield6969 I wish there was personal customization for skill sorting as well. They just place them all over the place and it gets annoying.
@@SheenShots yeah combat and magic in the same category, it's annoying sometime
Use plant (plant tent) The one that they sell and its permanent. This will not make you thirsty and hungry!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Yes plant tents are amazing. I have started using them a lot more recently just because of how convenient they are.
What armor set is that?
I believe it is the mana wall armor set if I remember correctly.
They have Palladium weapons if I am not mistaken. I do this myself, but never intentionally. Thanks for bringing that up!
Hey not a bad way to go about it. Those ornate chests can pack some serious loot.
what’s the hat used in the picture?
That would be the straw hat. Commonly found in junk piles.
@@SheenShots taken the time to reply a month after the vid released. legend 💯
@@slushizz_ You got it! 😎
Kill the rapier guys in last part can craft and sell 300 silver rapier while doing chest run.
Just make warming oil over and over water and oil
When you go farming the chitin, dont forget to say, that you should craft horror weapons to sell them. 1 run chitin farming with selling them in Levant will give you 5k to 6k silver. And not easy bit possible the 100 Gold for the compass puzzle
I will make note of that for my next money making guide. Its insane how much you can make from horror weapons. And they are a little too easy to get.
SPLIT SCREEN AND DUP. 😊
I need money because I have started caldera quest without money
Here is a much more updated video that will earn you more money if you are interested:
