It is also possible to get the Royal Great-Khopesh from the Holy mission and Heroic Kingdom faction quests. I left this out because it is only dropped by killing Yzan and he is a pretty good guy. Try to save him if you can... or end his life for a cool sword lol.
@@dboi8810 No, each faction quest can only be completed once and then all the others are locked off. This is because it forces you to play again and learn more about the other sides of the war. It would also make you too powerful as you would get way too many passive skills that buff you up lol.
Personally, I don't like Yzan much 😂. If you kill him and then get the Exalted ending, in the "epilogue" Elaat tells you that Yzan's spirit is still roaming in Abrassar desert full of grudge towards everyone in Levant and the Blue Chamber, and seems he will never move on.

I would say blue chamber is only really good for armor and infuse blood. But you pretty much get OP tank with OP DPS on any melee build. Holy mission is good for tanks. Not sure how it helps with elemental damage. It's also a must have for builds with infinite mana or stamina. This is just a good safe choice. Levant is good for all builds. Even for speedster. However if you are mostly going for elemental damage it's overrated. 15% extra damage when you already have like extra 100+% is a small advantage. Sorobor... I honestly think it's the worst. You can go for max CDR or max Speed with it but extra damage from Levant is usually more useful. Both weapons are also kind of meh.
You forgot to mention that in Sorobor questline one of the first things you do is 1 on 1 battle with whats basically a final boss of other three questlines. And you have to beat it first try if you want perfect rewards.. so yeah, be prepared
I choose to not fight him, then did everything else perfectly and still got all the rewards mentioned in this video. I think all you miss by not fighting him is 150 silver and the Butcher's Amethyst.
Yeah, but still, sorobor questline is by far hardest in terms of enemies and obstacles you have to overcome. Antique plateou is a hard location, with what would be endgame enemies pre-dlc sprinkled all over, and a parallel quest boss thats harder than most unknown arenas (for measure holy mission parallel quest boss is a simple immaculate)
this fight is actually pretty easy to cheese. There is a place in the room where you can lock the boss, he will be stuck. If you have long range attacks, just lock him up and finish him. Its pretty hilarious, the first time I did the sorobor quest line, I made him stuck in that place unconsciously lol
I fought him in my first play through with 2/3 of hex mage tree and a bolt rag like a week into the game he’s really not that bad but as I’ve learned since hex mage kinda trivializes most of the game
Came to this to see about difficulty, as I read from a player that the factions scale in difficulty and was trying to confirm the validity of that claim. Glad I read the description, because the video doesn't really explain the difficulty that well. Also, lots of information for new players. Would've been nice to have a summation, like in the description, in the video. So it seems that first time players should consider Holy Mission. After that it scales in difficulty from Blue Collective, Heroic Kingdom, then Sorobor Academy. Pretty much what I had read about before seeing this video. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to make this. Was helpful.
Glad you got something out of it. Blue chamber is by far the easiest, but you don't learn as much and get less rewards. Holy missions is only difficult because it takes place in the swamp, and tuanosaurs are pretty challenging. But holy mission also gives you the most rewards and probably the most helpful story for understanding your true enemies. The desert is hard because desert bandits are part of an army and much stronger. And then Sorobor is DLC so its more challenging for sure.
Blue chamber is by far the hardest in the base game simply due to tuanasours. Though you get the best house to compensate. Next is holy mission and Levant is just annoying due to resources gathering. Entomber set removes all difficulty from swamp and desert environments Sorobor is the hardest in DE
Thanks for this explanation, I've been wondering what the differences were and this was perfect. 1 Blue Chamber 0:55 2 Heroic Kingdom - 3:45 3 Holy mission 6:14 4 Sorobor Academy 10:19
Tip: If you choose Sorobor faction you can finish the "main quest" by killling certain enemy you ecounter early who happens to be final boss and start the rust lich quest line.
It's so funny to see all through the video how we started with so much arrows and them being depleting with every enemy that we going through, in the end just using the last bits of additional ones what we have left on this whole hunting journey :D
I remember my first playthrough was blind, and I just rolled with the Blue Chamber. Ended up making a Spellsword. You can get a pretty rediculous amount of health/stamina/mana bonuses. Probably wasn't a dps king, or even a good burst damage. But it made for a very tanky toe-to-toe fighter capable of targeting a single elemental weakness with weapon buffs and gong-strike. And the impact from a shield charge into mace attacks allowed me to just bully virtually every "normal" enemy. Not as good as other builds I used on subsequent playthroughs. But bow builds and cheesy pistol chains didn't give me nearly the sense of adrenaline and achievement when I beat hard enemies in what felt like dark-souls style combat. Where I had to quickly learn what could and couldn't be blocked, when to block, and when to attack.
One of the best features of Outward is the preparation that goes into combat. You can rush in yes, but you can also set traps. Prepare one gunshot, throw down a sigil, and buff with potions. It is kind of crazy how many option you have and learning each enemies attacks is where the true skill comes in. (Blue Chamber was my first faction as well!)
to get Logistics Expert you need to do 3-5 of them and if you do them all some bad things happen as I found out in my last play through so do not do them all do 3 and you will be good you are even told not to do them all.
You forgot that during the Holy Mission and Heroic Kingdom the Royal Great-Khopesh can be obtained as well. Well the the quest that was killing people I believe you are talking about ( Purifier ) when you find the dead person in the Marsh and have to talk to Moffat the main guy behind that is Jager Sullivan the Mage you end up working for in the Gregory Turnbull, Dean of the Arcane so 2 different people with kind of the same idea but they both went about it in different ways Gregory did not kill anyone.
There is a massive quest you can do over there, but the faction quest itself can only be done without the others. The rust of vengeance was also added then, but it can be completed regardless of faction quest.
Great vídeo!!! Just today I was thinking about a cooldown build using the Shadow Kazite set. Your video was a signal sent by Elatt. Will the definitive edition not let me use items already saved in my legacy chests? It will be a pain to have to farm the set again and put it in the chests.
So we have been told that our current character will not work. However, I am unsure about the legacy chests. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to work since the game doesn't delete your characters. Also, the cooldown on this set alone is nuts. Crazy fast skill usage lol
you wont be able to use ANYTHING from the current version in the DE. the saves for the DE are fully seperate from the original game and arent compatible in anyway. the de is its own seperate installation and wont use files from the current version either. thus none of your current char progress or items matters. the legacy chests will NOT work for characters made on the DE therefore logically. the DE is cold fresh start that is forced. however unless they patched it you can still use the legacy chest key for cierzo to get the set rather quickly by playing coop with yourself. you still need to reaquire the baseset of course. but dont spend anytime currently aquireing stuff thinking it will be useful in the DE. it wont work.
I still can't decide ahaha. I was about to join holy mission, but I really feel like going with Yzan, then I got bored and went to Harmattan (after selling all those weapons from hallowed marsh, coz I got pretty bored dying in that place) and almost join them...almost, still in the process. But I guess, I'm gonna do what you did, go through all of them, but I'll do blue chamber last.
Story wise I always go heroic kingdom, and it works out for pretty much any build 15% damage is a solid choice no matter what you are making. I wish their caldera perk wasn't for physical damage builds but so be it. End of the day I see blue chamber as the villains and antagonistic to you from the get go, I don't bump into enough story to really go the holy mission religious route, and I don't really get much of a story reason to go soroborean.
Heroic kingdom is a very solid story around the actual war going on. You get to see the true treachery over an Levant and how mercenaries run the world in that region.
@@SheenShots Yeah, what stood out to me is the blue chamber wanted war and was looking for any excuse to have one, the heroic kingdom did not but had agitators within trying to get war going. The king and queen were actually good people, I can't say the same for the blue chamber leaders. Holy Mission are good people, there just was not enough lore about the religion to make me want to join them. Sorobor doesn't feel connected to the main story enough, it feels like the DLC it is. So I never go that route. I wish it was a secondary quest like Caldera.
@@Ahglock. In the defense of the Blue Chamber, they may be more on the fence because they are the only ones that are actually protecting all of Aurai from one of the greatest threats, the Scarlet Lady/Lich, and no one else seems to be doing something about it (Well, the Holy Mission is busy with the Scourge, so they got a pass). If you want to learn more about the main antagonists in the base game (the Scourge), then Holy Mission and also Soroborean are the ones that offer a lot of lore about them. I would even say that Holy Mission and Sorobor Academy complement each other, while Levant and Blue Chamber complement each other, story wise of course. Edit: I would also say that the game gives you equal reason to join any faction in the game. As your main interest in that moment is to find a way to pay or get rid of your blood price, and each one of the factions offer you a way to do it and each faction has someone that offers you a way out. Levant: Yzan Berg: Rissa Monsoon: Olielle Harmattan: The Soroborean Merchant in Cierzo.
Blood infuse is so broken and op. It trivialises all fights if your build and gear is half decent. Only reason i sometimes pick other factions is for the sake of picking other factions
Hey man, I appreciate your content. I want to ask you some questions! ;D What is the build for the archer. Your items seem to be Shadow Kazite & Masterpiece Bow. How about yoour breakthroughs and faction, also did you choose archery vendor upgrade in New Siroco?
Hey glad you enjoyed the channel. So there are a couple variations of this build but heres the jist: Skill Trees: -Wild Hunter -Cabal Hermit -Speedster Equipment: -Shadow kazite armor (full set) -Masterpiece bow -Masterpiece spear (to proc alertness) -Brigand's backpack Faction: Srobor academy for more cooldown Yes if you play a bow build always grab the archery vendor in New Sirocco. There s no reason not to as the arrows are huge damage buffs for bows. Using correct elements or atherbomb arrows alone makes the game way easier especially for arena bosses.
Playing definitive edition now and mixing things up from my previous playthroughs. I usually go Levant for the extra damage but part of me wants to make a holy mission archer now. Reduce stamina costs and get all that extra protection to make up for using lighter armor
@@SheenShots doing a speedster fist weapon build right now. I have always avoided the tree so I am leaning into it. Force myself to change my playstyle

Thanks! Glad you are joining the channel! If you don't see my other comment, head to the town in the desert. Or try the traveling merchant. He can sometimes sell one.
with instences like tsar bow and shield could it be possible to use a second char to give one weapon to then reload and pick the other while you alt still has the other so you can gain both in one play through? i haven't made an alt yet but just wondering if that's possible
Im thinking in the heroic kingdom on my first choice. I have a two-handed warrior build and the buff of damage could be insane. I read its the most hard faction? Really abrassar is more hostile than the other áreas?
That is the masterpiece bow. It is the legacy version of the damascene bow which both increase damage from skills. Not a good weapon to go for in your first few playthroughs. I recommend something like the horror bow. You need a war bow, occult remains and two horror chitin. Then later you can enchant it to also have decay damage. This thing will be relatively easy to get compared to other end game bows and is something I used to beat the game once.
Im not sure if you reply to comments so late to the game, but I am trying to do a trog run. Do you think the extra pouch space is a better buff or decay damage increase? If anyone else wants to reply that works too xD
The green helm or poison trog is probably your best option for the beginning. It gets 100% damage bonus to decay and the most pouch space. The blue trog can be made with a woolshroom, and it is pretty good too. Much better for taking hits and still gives you extra pouch space although not quite as much. My advise is realize you don't actually need to pick up hardly anything lol. I was pikcing up all the stuff I could and it got to be a mess lol.
I'm not sure I understood. I would only be able to do one faction quest line for each playthrough? Or I have to finish one quest line before doing the next one?
You can only do one faction quest per character. They all four technically happen at the same time. So say you take the desert faction. The story of all other three still go on while yo do this faction and in some cases you can even see them happen. This requires you to make at least 4 characters to experience the full story. This seems like a lot but once you realize how many options you have for builds its not even that much. Hopefully that helps!
Infuse mana requires you to join sorobor academy as your faction quest. You will then need to build the enchanting building and upgrade it with the Soroborean Laboratory upgrade. This will require voltaic vines and a digested mana stone from the samples.
I started the sorobor faction, and finished the enrollment quest. The Up the ladder quest starts after 3 days. I didint speak with NPCs in Up the ladder quest, so the timer still running? Or i can travel the world without care about timeout? How can I know?
So holy mission gives u abunch of damage bufs but you cant ctualy use it to fight thats like fallout 2 giving u the cheat book after u complete the game
Pistols benefit the most from heroic Kingdom for more damage, or sorobor academy for more cooldown. If you are using things like bloodbullet and cold shot a lot then sorobor will be your best bet.
@@SheenShots yes sir thank you for the info. Im on day 90, been thru 2 winters jyst running around saving money n building my build. Guess it's time to leave the nest and start the timers 😱😭
Can you make an updated build for archer or what faction should an archer join? I dont know if I should join heroic kingdom for the damage or sorobor academy for the cooldown reduction
Yo bro! Do you think you can help me? On the holy faction quest, the hallowed peacemaker to be specific, I am stuck with the cardinal and he keeps giving me rewards which is quite good😅 I have now 150 gold ingots but I wanna proceed with the final quest and end the faction, please tell me what do I need to do, There's also one new quest that says, well earned rest, on the side note, it says news in berg and enjoy the peace I help something, I went to berg and....talked to everyone nothings happening...I tried talking to all the people in monsoon too but nothing either, except the leader or mayor or something he said about prisoners from Levant and that's pretty much all I got, I Don't what else to do
No you do not. It appears you will need to finish your second quest for the faction of your choosing before the guard leaves that prevents you from entering. You can also enter from the "Slide" but will nee to get your hands on the Old Levant's Key which is in that cave somewhere.
Yes, legacies offer a few bonuses. 1 they can grant you better versions of certain weapons and armor. 2 they can let you have items on a character you technically shouldn't. So say you do the holy mission faction quest to get the candle plate armor. Well legacy chest the set for a new character and now you have that armor but can complete a different faction quest altogether. This also allows you to use end game weapons and armor early on in your run for other characters. Great for build crafting past your first build. Legacy chests aren't all super easy to access, but you can definitely grab the items quick if you know what your doing.
For this I used the shadow kazite lite armor. You can loot a set of kazite lite armor from chests or kazite in the antique platoue. Then legacy chest them for the shadow version. Loot a damascene bow from ornate chests in caldera and then legacy chest it for the masterpiece bow. The armor grants you a lot more cooldown on your bow skills. And the bow boosts the damage of those skills. So you hit really hard when using sniper shot.
0:24 You are saying I cannot complete all the faction quest, but can I take all of them at start or you can take only one and the other are locked at that point or how does it work?
There are 4 total factions in the game that all have their own story. But they also all happen at the same time and affect each other. For this reason you can only choose 1 of the 4 factions on any given character. Once you beat that entire faction quest the others can't be done on that character because they happened while you were completing yours. It makes the story very interesting because you get to see the affects of your actions from one faction to another. But only if you make a new character and join a new faction. After you pay for your house and talk to Rissa, Olilie, and Yzan you can head to one of 4 other towns and choose a faction quest. You can always pick whichever one you want on each playthrough and the rewards will differ between them. But once you pick one you are locked into it on that character. Hope that helps!
I believe it will let you play that character, but you won't have access to the new stuff unless you make a new one. That is how it worked previously I believe and I don't think it will differ too much.
Am afraid that switching stuff to a splitscreen player will probably not work like it has been. Was nice to skip to go back all the way to the town to dump stuff 😩
I am not 100% on this as I already had all the DLC's. I think you get to do the soroboreans area by just having the Definitive Edition as it is like a newer version of the game. So no is the answer to your question as far as I know.
@@SheenShots I bought the game when it fist came out and played for a bit and even tried coop, which is when I stopped playing. Watched your video and fell in love with it and realized I only had to buy the one expansion, which was $4 so I got it and upgraded to DE version. My first play thru I was so preoccupied that I lost the lighthouse! Is this a bid deal? Should I just continue to play with another faction? I had tons of stuff saved in my locker and they confiscated it, LOL. Thanks.
LOL! I think everyone dislikes blue chamber and reesa XD. I am super new to the game. And in those first few hours she showed her nasty side. Like, asks for a blood price , once i pay, right away asks for a favor and is ready to make me a aberdeen ? and rejects Oliele for choosing her path !!!! No shit haha piss off. sounds fishy. First impression of reesa in first main quest lol. I was like no blue chamber, what were the others ? XD
Blue Chamber has you all up in Rissas business and she uses you as a lap dog because of your blood price. Plus she technically murders innocent people... The other three factions are a lot more noble in my opinion.
@@SheenShots yess! I went with sorobor academy. Tried first faction quest of holy mission. They torturing immaculates. I mean some are bad. But some immaculates help me when dead and give free trader garb and stuff. Sooo
Rissa tries to protect the protagonist by proclaiming a time of mourning to give the protagonist extra time to pay the blood price (in which decision is out of her hands as it's traditional and the mob is enforcing it). Then after the protagonist manages to pay the 4 months due, she offers to get the protagonist completely off the hook by paying the rest of the debt, which sounds like it's quite a lot, and offers to adopt the protagonist into her family. She apparently needs a successor, and she's not about to force it on her daughter, Oliele, who made her choice. So she offers it to the protagonist. I don't see how that makes her villainous, but seems rather affectionate to the protagonist. She explains why she's helping when asked about it, and it appears she has history with one of the protagonist parent. Makes sense. I don't know about the later stuff yet, it sounds like it can be more intriguing than the other factions. She doesn't sound as bad as you make her out to be from the protagonist's perspective. She sounds like the biggest ally to have.
No there is actually no "end" to the game as you can continue to respawn arena bosses as long as you want. Here are a few things you can do after the faction quest: 1) Rust & Vengeance quest- massive train dungeon full of enemies, bosses, and keys to find. 2) New Sirocoo quest - massive town building segment that has you collect samples adn fight challenging enemies in Caldera. Can only be started after the faction quest. 3) Arena Bosses- these open up after the faction quest and there are 3 in each region. You need to unlock the by using something or having some set of items and they are very challenging. I have coverd how to find all of them so feel free to check those if you are interesting in epic fights. 4) Explore what's left - sometimes you will beat the game but not complete every cave. Most caves have unique mini bosses that don't respawn and you can collect interesting and powerful loot from various enemies and puzzles. Hopefully that answers your question!
Dying during the bigger fights of a faction quest will really make you lose some major rewards. All the armor sets from the factions are like this and it can be very annoying wgeb it happens.
@@SheenShots 40 days to complete Blood Under The Sun. failed if you have not completed it by the time your third faction quest begins (and you have waited the 3 days). So then it was just to delete this character and start the whole game again ... The Queen is dead too.

Light armor is not a reward from an faction sadly. Technically the sorobor faction can grant you the wolf medic armor which is pretty light. Most of these are instead bought from merchants. And that might make them easier to get yes, but not less useful than heavy armor.
Shadow kazite armor which is legacy chested kazite light armor. Gives a ton of cooldown which lets you use skills more often. Then go for as many bow skills as you can find along with warrior monk for extra stamina. That is the general idea to play around with. Bow builds are pretty versatile.
There are 4 total factions. Each with a unique story that goes along with the others at the same time. Then you have tons of dungeons and two DLC stroys to mess with. Lots to do once you get into it.
A question!!!! But it's SPOILER!!! If I cure the Immaculates in the Harmattan questline...does that means that there won't be hostile immaculates in the game anymore? Is it even mentioned outside of Harmattan? Or actually the game will pretend like it didn't happen? Because with the base game factions the game actually connects what the player does in each questline. But Harmattan feels like a total separate story, in a total different world.
So if you cure the immaculates and make them friendly, there will only be a certain number of friendly immaculates. All of the rest from other regions will still be hostile. This is explained by each immaculate needing to choose to be cured. And only those ones that were near Harmattan at the time new about the cure in the first place. SO you have this small faction of friendly immaculates, but the rest are still uncured. Hope that helps.
The faction quests don't ever go away even if you kill bosses. Also the unique bosses don't show up until you complete your faction quest. Maybe you did Rust and Vengance with the rust lich? That one can be completed anytime.
I regreat so much watching this video, I saw the Blue Chamber and the Heroic Kingdom, without a issue, and out of a sudden, a huge ass spoiler on the Holy Mission... yeah, not playing that one :(
I can assure you I made sure not to give away any major points in the quests. I mentioned some background info and overall theme of each faction so you get a feel for what each is about. My main purpose was to show off the rewards but I didn't mention 90% of the story for any of the factions. You will still get quite a bit out of the different quests after watching this.
Your intro you’re a bit close to the mic or have too high gain making your s hurt and your breath plosive. Try to be a handspan away and speak not directly at the mic I love your content though your mic sounds great regularly

Awesome. Glad you enjoyed it that much!
Tip: If you choose Sorobor faction you can finish the "main quest" by killling certain enemy you ecounter early who happens to be final boss and start the rust lich quest line.
Who?
Is that the robot with a phaser beam ahaha?
Hey man just about to start playing again after my first attempt just wanted to say these vids are extra useful and your content is great
Thank you. That was the idea, so I am glad I could help!!!
It's so funny to see all through the video how we started with so much arrows and them being depleting with every enemy that we going through, in the end just using the last bits of additional ones what we have left on this whole hunting journey :D
I like Oliele, but, my heart belongs to the Friendly Immaculate
A true adventurer you are.
@SheenShots Elatt just seems like a cheese stick too 😤
Great video! I am waiting for the definite edition to play again, but I always watch your content.
Thanks! You should be ready for it then lol!
One thing I wish this game had is the ability to set alternate weapon set and quick swapping without wasting assigned slots
The lantern is amazing even as a light source. It doesn't need any fuel and the purple light is awesome to look at.
Great video! Very useful, would have been nice to have more info on which factions compliment which builds. Lots of info though thank you!
Ya I didn't get to that much unfortunately, but sometimes that is a bit personal preference. Maybe in another video lol. Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for all the outward content! Good stuff
You bet! Glad you are enjoying it and that I could help out a bit!
@@SheenShots not a bit but a lot :)
You get Zegis full set from Levant Main Quest, Helm, Armor and Boots actually. I did this last week and have the full set.
Bro this video is great for me and my buddy doing a fresh playthrough, your videos and live streams are rocking sheen bro. Keep it up!!!
Thanks you! More videos to come so hope you continue to enjoy them!
to get Logistics Expert you need to do 3-5 of them and if you do them all some bad things happen as I found out in my last play through so do not do them all do 3 and you will be good you are even told not to do them all.
always only did 3. what are the bad results if u do all5?

You forgot that during the Holy Mission and Heroic Kingdom the Royal Great-Khopesh can be obtained as well. Well the the quest that was killing people I believe you are talking about ( Purifier ) when you find the dead person in the Marsh and have to talk to Moffat the main guy behind that is Jager Sullivan the Mage you end up working for in the Gregory Turnbull, Dean of the Arcane so 2 different people with kind of the same idea but they both went about it in different ways Gregory did not kill anyone.
Ya, I left that weapon out because it was the only one that could be grabbed by multiple faction quests. Felt kind of weird while writing lol.
@@SheenShots ah i guess that makes sense lol great video btw except for saying Gregory Turnbull is killing people lay of him man lol
@@lazyliger8740 Lol well I meant the general goal got people killed from testing but guess it came off the wrong way .😅
I dont know if they change it but as far as I'm aware you can do academy on every character cause it was apart of the dlc
There is a massive quest you can do over there, but the faction quest itself can only be done without the others. The rust of vengeance was also added then, but it can be completed regardless of faction quest.
Very helpful video. Thanks for making it.
Thanks for watching!
@@SheenShots I also see no reason why it shouldn't work. Ty man.
@@Jiwary1 Anytime!
you wont be able to use ANYTHING from the current version in the DE. the saves for the DE are fully seperate from the original game and arent compatible in anyway. the de is its own seperate installation and wont use files from the current version either. thus none of your current char progress or items matters. the legacy chests will NOT work for characters made on the DE therefore logically. the DE is cold fresh start that is forced.
however unless they patched it you can still use the legacy chest key for cierzo to get the set rather quickly by playing coop with yourself. you still need to reaquire the baseset of course.
but dont spend anytime currently aquireing stuff thinking it will be useful in the DE. it wont work.
@@MultiNerevar This answered my earlier question. Thanks for the info! Been having trouble someone down who actually knew anything about this.
Levant: Yzan
Berg: Rissa
Monsoon: Olielle
Harmattan: The Soroborean Merchant in Cierzo.
So there are a couple variations of this build but heres the jist:
Skill Trees:
-Wild Hunter
-Cabal Hermit
-Speedster
Equipment:
-Shadow kazite armor (full set)
-Masterpiece bow
-Masterpiece spear (to proc alertness)
-Brigand's backpack
Faction:
Srobor academy for more cooldown
Yes if you play a bow build always grab the archery vendor in New Sirocco.
The best thing to do with bows is max out cooldown, but since I don't like speedster that is another great way to go with it.
@@SheenShots doing a speedster fist weapon build right now. I have always avoided the tree so I am leaning into it. Force myself to change my playstyle

Hi man great video with alot of good info but i have a question how far can i go through the quests at the same time ?
with instences like tsar bow and shield could it be possible to use a second char to give one weapon to then reload and pick the other while you alt still has the other so you can gain both in one play through? i haven't made an alt yet but just wondering if that's possible
Eventually you can do all of them right ? And it doesn’t mess with each story lines depending on which one you do first. ?
Im thinking in the heroic kingdom on my first choice. I have a two-handed warrior build and the buff of damage could be insane. I read its the most hard faction? Really abrassar is more hostile than the other áreas?
Which bow are u using and how to get it? I just started playing a few days ago 😅
@@SheenShots ok thanks man
Im not sure if you reply to comments so late to the game, but I am trying to do a trog run.
@@SheenShots It does, thanks for your help!
so once you get to caldera it says you need certain materials to learn infuse mana. What materials do you need?
Infuse mana requires you to join sorobor academy as your faction quest. You will then need to build the enchanting building and upgrade it with the Soroborean Laboratory upgrade. This will require voltaic vines and a digested mana stone from the samples.
I started the sorobor faction, and finished the enrollment quest. The Up the ladder quest starts after 3 days. I didint speak with NPCs in Up the ladder quest, so the timer still running? Or i can travel the world without care about timeout? How can I know?
Great video!
Thanks!
A question, there is time quest in the game, but is it a one time only or does it activate on whim during the entire play through ?
I should do the blue chamber simply to travel more
May or may not be watching to get ideas for my bow build lol
Heck ya. I would go sorobor academy all the way.
Another great video.
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback!
Im running a bow build, which faction would be best for me to go through build-wise?
So holy mission gives u abunch of damage bufs but you cant ctualy use it to fight thats like fallout 2 giving u the cheat book after u complete the game
Doing a gun build. Which faction is best to chose to further my build?
1hand weapon and off hand multi pistols
Pistols benefit the most from heroic Kingdom for more damage, or sorobor academy for more cooldown. If you are using things like bloodbullet and cold shot a lot then sorobor will be your best bet.
@@SheenShots yes sir thank you for the info. Im on day 90, been thru 2 winters jyst running around saving money n building my build. Guess it's time to leave the nest and start the timers 😱😭
Can I do the sorobor questline and another faction?
Can you make an updated build for archer or what faction should an archer join? I dont know if I should join heroic kingdom for the damage or sorobor academy for the cooldown reduction
Go with soroboreans for the cooldown. It will do more overall. As far as the build, I will start to look into the build for you.

Yo bro! Do you think you can help me? On the holy faction quest, the hallowed peacemaker to be specific, I am stuck with the cardinal and he keeps giving me rewards which is quite good😅 I have now 150 gold ingots but I wanna proceed with the final quest and end the faction, please tell me what do I need to do, There's also one new quest that says, well earned rest, on the side note, it says news in berg and enjoy the peace I help something, I went to berg and....talked to everyone nothings happening...I tried talking to all the people in monsoon too but nothing either, except the leader or mayor or something he said about prisoners from Levant and that's pretty much all I got, I Don't what else to do
I’m not a big fan of the heroic kingdom but my main question is do I need to pledge my allegiance to them to get the pearlescent scale armor?
No you do not. It appears you will need to finish your second quest for the faction of your choosing before the guard leaves that prevents you from entering. You can also enter from the "Slide" but will nee to get your hands on the Old Levant's Key which is in that cave somewhere.
@@SheenShots thank you so much
Is this what legacies are for, does it let you get faction rewards for all factions
Yes, legacies offer a few bonuses. 1 they can grant you better versions of certain weapons and armor. 2 they can let you have items on a character you technically shouldn't. So say you do the holy mission faction quest to get the candle plate armor. Well legacy chest the set
for a new character and now you have that armor but can complete a different faction quest altogether. This also allows you to use end game weapons and armor early on in your run for other characters. Great for build crafting past your first build. Legacy chests aren't all super easy to access, but you can definitely grab the items quick if you know what your doing.
Cane we get the rewards for other factions via Co-Op
hi !! what is the build char in the video? =)
@@SheenShots This helps, thanks.
So when the new outward edition comes out we lose all our saved games, items, progress?
I believe it will let you play that character, but you won't have access to the new stuff unless you make a new one. That is how it worked previously I believe and I don't think it will differ too much.
Am afraid that switching stuff to a splitscreen player will probably not work like it has been. Was nice to skip to go back all the way to the town to dump stuff 😩
@@Notevful Honestly doubt this will change. That is simply how the coop works, although I obviously don't know for sure.
@@SheenShots Lets hope im wrong lol cuz then we can kiss duplication legacy goodbye 😅
@@Notevful Ya that would really suck...
do i still need the DLC soroboreans when i got the definitive edition for the last faction quest mentioned in the video?
I am not 100% on this as I already had all the DLC's. I think you get to do the soroboreans area by just having the Definitive Edition as it is like a newer version of the game. So no is the answer to your question as far as I know.
@@SheenShots The definitive edition includes all the DLC content anyway.
@@BlastbeatsLOL Okay that is what I thought but had not confirmed it yet. Thank you!
Is it possible to get another faction passive by using online coop mode?
No faction is only a one time thing per character. It requires you to make at least four different builds to experience the full depth of the game.
Did you lose your cerzio house After joining a faction?
You should only lose your house after the first five days and you can't start a faction until these five days are up.
@@SheenShots I bought the game when it fist came out and played for a bit and even tried coop, which is when I stopped playing.
She sounds like the biggest ally to have.
whots goin oooon goys, let's get rooooight into this video
Does the definitive edition include the three brothers dlc
Yes, it includes everything in the game all in one.
Does the game end once you finish the faction quest?
No there is actually no "end" to the game as you can continue to respawn arena bosses as long as you want. Here are a few things you can do after the faction quest:
1) Rust & Vengeance quest- massive train dungeon full of enemies, bosses, and keys to find.
The only two I've done are heroic kingdom and the academy, I did fine in both but I did a good amount of exploration before starting either.
Exploring before hand is pretty common. Most people don't really want to rush the faction quest.
What's the item called that you have on your 3 key?
That is a toxin bomb. They are pretty cool, but only available after building the New Sirocco town in Caldera. More late game unfortunately.
I died, did not get Zagis 'Armor and Loot ... Only Zagis' Mask.

@@PAKB100 that doesn't sound good ....:/
what build use int he video ?
No light armors?
Light armor is not a reward from an faction sadly. Technically the sorobor faction can grant you the wolf medic armor which is pretty light. Most of these are instead bought from merchants. And that might make them easier to get yes, but not less useful than heavy armor.
Is there a best faction for a mage character?
The Holy Mission Faction Quest is generally considered the best for mages. You get the most rewards from that faction quest as well.
@@SheenShots Is it also good for paladin kinda build with heavy armor and 2h sword?
What is the archer build in the video ?
Shadow kazite armor which is legacy chested kazite light armor. Gives a ton of cooldown which lets you use skills more often. Then go for as many bow skills as you can find along with warrior monk for extra stamina. That is the general idea to play around with. Bow builds are pretty versatile.

Especially cine you kind of grow and learn together throughout the quest. Would have been an epic fight to destroy scourge alongside here.
Thank u
Glad it was helpful.
Wait there is more than factions?!
There are 4 total factions. Each with a unique story that goes along with the others at the same time. Then you have tons of dungeons and two DLC stroys to mess with. Lots to do once you get into it.
@SheenShots maybe the 4th faction is dlc maybe that's why I never saw it yet I still only have base game.
Thank you for the answer!
i didnt do the quests, i went and killed the end boss after starting the game, there are no quests now and its a open world free roam survival.
The faction quests don't ever go away even if you kill bosses. Also the unique bosses don't show up until you complete your faction quest. Maybe you did Rust and Vengance with the rust lich? That one can be completed anytime.
ah ok. mustve been that one then.
