Loved Contra Alien Wars, owned it and could beat it easily. My favorite Contra was Hard Corps, got to rent it a couple of times and wasn't able to beat it until I was older and emulators were a thing.
There's 14 total Contra games out. I don't know why they couldn't have put them all on one, but yeah maybe they'll do a part 2. Or maybe it's another issue where they can't release them or something. I love Contra but I don't know if I want to play these games at this point. They were hard back then but now I don't know. Maybe just for nostalgia

@RedCrimson102 Same, emulators are free and I get more features and options to optimize my gameplay. Also the PC port seems extremely lazy with not even changing the controls on menus and options for PC players.
This collection is worth the price. I wish they put the wii game rebirth on it. It's really good and is sad that a lot of gamers will never be able to play it because the wii eshop is closed. Same with Gradius and Castlevania Rebirth. Sad really.

I'm trying to figure out why I'm having such a hard time getting the arcade version to play and when you are able to start I don't know why it's starting........
From what I can see, they made no improvements. These just seem like legal emulators for the games. Personally, I didn't like it as I could just emulate the for free. And the emulators had more features. Such as more filters, better options for changing controls, and changing in-game settings (for the arcade versions) to change things like the difficulty, life and continue count, and game overclock.
The lack of scaling to screen size is a complete deal breaker. Any emulator will be better. Presentation is nice, but technically They didn't even bother doing the bare minimum.
Do you actually have played the game? I have it right now in my Switch oled and you have 6 display settings, and I can scale the screen size to fill the Switch oled screen
So you did this video it says about 2 years ago so they just limited runs just came out with pre-orders like last month so look like all the games are going to be on one disk so it's not digital no more cuz I just bought it the ultimate collection for $200 so I pray it's not just digital🕹🎮😀👍🏽

Loved Contra Alien Wars, owned it and could beat it easily. My favorite Contra was Hard Corps, got to rent it a couple of times and wasn't able to beat it until I was older and emulators were a thing.

They changed the characters for the UK versions because it was viewed as being to violent killing human characters by the UK classification board.
It was changed in the pal region because of the German law not allowing humans to be killed in games not the UK.
No Shattered Soldier.......only gets 4 out of 5 stars from me.

Oh come on the SNES version isn't that hard. Lvl 2 is pretty easy too. Lvl 3, however, is a lot harder.

Probably small, as most nes, snes, sega genesis, and game-boy games were pretty small.
