This man truly loves his job. His enthusiasm is infectious. This is one of my favorite Blue Devils show and this judges tape might be my favorite was to listen to it.
The battery had a slow start that season and struggled at times. I’m remember watching the show live in Glendora the on field warm up and recalling how dirty the attack to start dirty was and I was like, oh oh. That said, what a way to end the season by the staff and crew to kill it at the end. Bravo!! I have to say that tenor line was ridiculous, Sean Vega, Pete Friedoff (From SCV 94-96), Chris Burroughs (BD 95-96 joined mid season to replace someone else and had to learn everything quickly) and of course Rudy (rookie season)
Pete slid into the center with Vega after I bailed. Chris was a monster to slide in like that. But he always was. Those were great quad lines to be part of.
David Thomas Turner I’m remember talking to Chris after the RCC show telling us how he had to step in and how challenging it was, especially the new Spree, apparently you guys upped the degree of difficulty, lol. I refrain from saying who bailed, that said, you guys were epic 95-97. By the way, you scared of spiders, lol?
