@@texasroots yeah the variable pricing on the hardware globally is significant! Monthly plan as well. I'm paying about 50% less for regional roam here in South America than the US.
The one issue that is now holding me back from getting into Starlink is the uncertainty around the roam plan - it seems that it only works for max 2 months away from your home country. Is this really correct??? I live in Spain, but travel for many months at a time around Europe - is it correct that the Roam plan is suspended after 2 months away from your registered home country??? Thanks for advice on this issue.
@@CG-99 it's not enforced everywhere. I would think it wouldn't be enforced in Europe either because prices all across Europe are the same. This is more specifically aimed at people from the US using a Mexican dish there and paying 50% less. Worse case scenario if they choose to enforce the rule everywhere, you just set up a new account in a few countries and move the hardware around those accounts. I've used a Colombian account for 6 months across 5 countries without problems.
Great comparison video. The view from your air B and B deck was very appealing. Thank you for a lot of helpful information.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great comparison! If you are a veteran, Home Depot will apply additional 10% off to Starlink price.
Good to know! Just the dish price or service as well?
Great video, really informative!
@@mapleleafdrifters thanks friend!
Thanks for the global comparison. I had no idea they cost less in other countries. I was happy to see the USA price drop for BFriday.
