I want to know what he did with the second sensor that he took off the oem downpipe? He didn’t connect it to the new downpipe from the looks of the video
I bought one that looks exactly like it. Put it on, and it doesn't come close to fitting right. I think it was for a 2010. I think they changed a few things after the first model year of the MKVI.
@@charbelfarah5376 Why would it kill anything??? Seems like there is a lot of kids and people posting on here that don't turn wrenches or really know anything. While the sound is pure preference, on a turbo car you don't want/ need backpressure. Anything that has forced induction will BENEFIT with a performance increase from opening up the exhaust. 3- 3.5" from the compressor back will yield the best gains on this particular car/ with the current supporting mods. If it had a big turbo, headwork, high flow intake manifold, cams, bored block, etc for instance- than you could see more benefit from going even larger than a 3.5." With something like an intake and a ko3/ ko4/ 30R, etc and some software, you wouldn't see any gains from going bigger than what he has installed. Now on the flipside, if his car were N.A. you would lose power from going that large to a certain extent. On an N.A. engine (Naturally Aspirated, for people who don't know,) you want some backpressure. This will help your torque and the 'scavenging' effect. It's all fluid dynamics. Hopefully this clears up any misinformation that was posted here. Check engine light?
Any codes on the dash after installation?
???
I think if it’s tuned you shouldn’t have to worry about it but without tune it will turn on check engine
Is it really necessary to take off the I take?
The stud broke on you ?
cbfa??
Is it hard to disconnect the 4 bolts behind the engine
LoL
are them injectors stock ? i have the same a 13 cc that came with black n red injectors that don’t say anything like urs
The "black and red things" are coil packs not injectors. S4/ R8 coils. Direct 'bolt on.' Little better spark output than the stock TSI/ FSI coils.
Cool video, fellow Texan. It takes a special kind of person to take the time to make videos. I am not one of those people.

So this does fit well on the mk6? I have a mk6 GTI as well
I just got one. Doesn't fit. I have a 2011. Maybe they just sent me the wrong one.
Yikes...
It doesn't fit a mk6 gti don't buy
It fits ccta mk6s if you have a cbfa you will have to modify it. As well as ALOT of downpipes cbfa downpipes are hard to find
