Seen Peter Wolf with Kid Rock a few years ago here in Michigan.. He puts on a great show and has so much energy. He's what like 78 now? He's a sick frontman...one of the best in rock and roll.
My youth, Tom Petty opening for J.Geils at the Coliseum, a now-forgotten but beautiful shithole in S.Yarmouth. The Kinks, Van Halen, Elvis, they all played it. Best shows of my life.
I recall that tour and Tom Petty was the warm up band at the Calderone on Long Island. Darn we were lucky to see two great bands for the price of one !!
