It would be great if they added production lines for wood chips, other than the BGA, maybe a paper production line or a facility that uses wood chip to make wood composites for funiture.
I believe if you let the helper do the planting you may have a lower yield by around 60% He will plant every 2,4m but if you set it manually (in GPS) to 1m more rows planter on the field will be lead to a higher yield ... Maybe you could check it out and update the video? :) One more tip - for tractors that have too big tires there is a 3point hitch to attach on the front (1500$) that will let you drive-thru without damage poplar. (see under packs--> poplar--> bumper)
If you happen to see this, did you end up finding a tractor that's optimal for this with that attachment when compared to the ones I know that are safe to use without the bumper?

Hey, I found your Channel on your 10 tips for beginners video it helped me as I just started this version. And then I saw this video and I was having issues with poplars. Keep up the good work.
I think i might like poplars. I tried forestry and swore i would never do it again... i spent anout 6 real hours trying to load up trees with the dang cranes, then using the chipper/w crane. Took forever! Multiple trees "blew up". They glitched and i couldn't do anything with them. Long story short: never again will i do lumber! lol.... but these... These look easy!
does anyone know a cheap tractor that can carry the weight infront? both those machines a 5t together and i don't want to spend too much money on a tractor for this

Becouse im workimg my each day mod on farm the biomass power plant is really taking a long time to burn wood chip is this normal? Hi Farmer cop another great video 📹 I do have a problem when I use all the mods my screen go's blurry and I have to delete the whole game 🎮 and restart it and when I use a few mods it seems to work ok will they have another patch to fix this issue it is only happening with my ps4
@@FarmerCop today I downloaded the new forestry truck mod with log crane on back and I was going to use it for a game I was playing and after selected the options it shut me out of my ps4 to the main screen 😀 😄

the bio bailer actually turns off crop destruction for the tractor using it. it was the same in FS 19

QUESTION: what will happen if you mulch the Poplar stumps after harvesting???
It will destroy the crop, preventing it from regrowing

Theres a 'jackpot zone' for pigs. If they get too old they lose their value

This is weird. If I try to planting poplar, the planter digging much stones! Why???
It will dig up stones, I recommend turning stones off while you plant poplar then turning them back on after you are done planting
So unlike in real life, poplar's are not actually a forest product aka tree.

Seems to be a low investment crop you will only use as a backup while waiting for your main crops. But fails at that because silage exists.
Maybe use it for carpentry if you dont feel like cutting and logging trees?
