There is a very good reason why the bulk.of my vlogs discuss finances and cash flow as an expat in Thailand. #thailand #expatlife #expatliving #expatfinances #pattaya #livingabroad
Money is the more important thing. Let’s be realistic no money no honey. Money pays for everything and if you have a wife and two kids then money is even more important. I prefer a single life but I still want a good life.
Yeh, I have to side with you, on this one. Unless you want to deal in gold or labour-to-goods exchange, then money is the currency of facilitation. Besides which, I take an interest in the cost of meals and other everyday items that you talk about. Without knowing the cost, nothing will make any sense. The thing with the car wash/valet, is EXACTLY the same here. Even at Tesco, they have Eastern Europeans, who you can hand your keys to, before you enter the store, but it is a LOT more than £5, for an "inside & out", it's more like £20+ !
Dan how much are you paying for international schooling, Im looking to move from the UK with Thai wife and our daughter 11yo im seeing 400 - 600k for internation schools.
I lived in Pattaya for 8 months. My spending per month is between 120000-150000 bahts. I do not believe all those youtubers who claim you can live in 50000 or 60000 per month.
Phuket more rent for nice villa 60k baht min 2k€ is rent and house bills then tp and food easily another 1k min per month then lifestyle activities travel on top easy 4k min to replicate how I lived in Spain ie standard of house food lifestyle I’ve said it before Phuket is more expensive than Spain with none of the infrastructure🤣 can not wait to leave really different to the rest of Thailand imo
I'm a fan of seeing others succeed, honest ambition I admire.
I appreciate how you give hints and inspiration on how to get up and be successful in life, and what those things mean.

Very different, living as a family man or living as a single retired expat. Respect for the life you've chosen. I'm very impressed.
thanks

You need 2k per month to have any standard off living.
