Thanks for this, happy I have come across your video, they have had my review form since November and I'm still waiting to hear, everyday I'm stressing about this, I'm to avoid stress as it triggers of my epilepsy I also have motor sensory neuropathy and cervical and lumbar spondylosis, and even with all that I don't trust them, I won my original claim through a tribunal
So so nervous, got my first ever PIP assessment tomorrow, worrying so much about how limiting my form was filled in. Being my first ever one, But now I’m ready for the assessment due to finding help online I have so much more detailed descriptions of my condition than I outlined on the form and I don’t want them to mark me down for that. 😥
Best of luck with the renewal. I'd say that it's easier to get through than the first application. Hope it goes well for you, let me know how you get on.
Hey! DWP disgust me. My pip is being reviewed. I sent forms in June this year. I wanted an update as its now October. My forms got scanned in July and I'm told a 52 week wait. 1 whole year. Its disgusting. I've had enough. 52 weeks. Sorry, I just had to share with somebody!!!!
That's absolutely ridiculous! I know what you mean about sharing, sometimes it's good to have an ear that will listen & share your feelings. Rant as much as you need to here! 😊
@@AnkylosingSpondylitisMan Thank you for replying. I struggled on one question in the form. I didn’t know how to answer to the question “following a journey” on pip form. Can you explain this part please 🙏 So that I have a better understanding. And can I please ask you aswell, when renewing the application do you have to explain again everything how the disease affects you like first time applying or just explaining if there are any changes? For myself, I have turned down biologics because I’m terrified of the side effects like heart failure, liver failure, skin cancer etc… and other possible risks. I don’t want to add more health problems in long term. Thank you very much for all your videos, very helpful.
Hi Happy New Year! Please make sure to take vitamin b12 especially if you take omeprazole. I developed a vit b12 deficiency from this medication. Turns out it blocks b12.
My GP gave me a med called celexiocob no omeprazole and these meds can cause stomach ulcers and bleeding my GP isnt really supporting me much and i even think they think I'm faking my health issues! The chronic fatigue syndrome was diagnosed by a rhumatologist I have to see a neurologist in April as I also have seizures too 😐 it excerbiates my deoression n anxiety just by being treated like a liar and i often think about suicide as I got 0 support system
Happy New Year! I have AS and follow you and from the United States. Is Pip the similar to Social security disability? The probelm with any assistance program from goverment or former employer is there is so much fraud and it hurts the people like us. I have had AS for over 30 years and have a very severe case of it. If disease is caught early and with advancement in medicatiins and exersise is key. God Bless you
I have chronic fatigue syndrome and EUBPD which affects my everyday life creating health issues and barriers preventing me from performing easy to do tasks I am in process of applying for Pip am waiting for forms been 3 weeks not got em yet 😐
Hi there would you be able to give me some advice please. My whole reason for applying for pip was to get enhanced mobility so i could get a wheelchair or mobility car has i have diabetic neuropathy where now i can not stand or even walk now as i have no feeling in my feet just in my heels but i cant stand to long because it puts alot of pressure on my heels. And i made that very clear when I had my assessment , i was awarded enhanced daily and standard mobility this was june this year. I was told not to challenge it at the time as I could of risked losing the pip i was awarded so months on now i can’t leave my house to attend doctors or hospital appointments. Do you think i should tell pip this or ask my doctor to write something stating the issue i have . Take care
Thank you for this post. I am helping a friend with a PIP appeal and it's all new to me so I found this very helpful. Good luck and take care.
Good luck with the appeal! 👍

Brilliant explanation👍Can you please explain the following the journey part in a new video, please.
Sure, do you mean the full journey from when I first applied?

Hi there 👋
Yes, PIP is the equivalent. It's paid for by the Government, but yes, there are people that take advantage of it.
I have chronic fatigue syndrome and EUBPD which affects my everyday life creating health issues and barriers preventing me from performing easy to do tasks I am in process of applying for Pip am waiting for forms been 3 weeks not got em yet 😐
They take such a long time unfortunately. On the plus side, they back date successful claims
My partner had her 3 yearly review they've had all paperwork since April 19th and still waiting for a decision
Wow, that's absolutely ridiculous!!
I waited 9 months just got text message saying there reviewing my paperwork for renewal
Have you tried Actimas Celafen Muscle and Joint Rub?
Yes, I have something similar that I use every now & then .
@@AnkylosingSpondylitisMan I also have Ankylosing Spondylitis. I take etoricoxib tablets and also high blood pressure Amlodipine as well
@@AnkylosingSpondylitisMan I think the etoricoxib tablets caused me to get high blood pressure
I am prescribed etoricoxib for inflammation as well. I take omeprazole with it to keep my stomach in check
@@AnkylosingSpondylitisMan I wasn't given omeprazole with this med! That's how much i am hated by my gp 😐

i get enhanced PIP for the past 8 years i recently reviewed it for the 2nd time, clicked no change and still have another Phone assessment. Why ?
Decline the phone assessment just say anxiety too high
@@Vibethelife then they will 100% stop my PIP
So can you just put in the renewal form same as before on most of it?
You only need to put any changes on the renewal form, plus any new backup documents
@@AnkylosingSpondylitisMan so if I just put nothing had changed on 99 percent of it will my money get stopped or will it stay the same?
It'll stay the same
Hi on the review form ....if there has been no changes sgould i justvwrite ni change
Yes, that's correct. I'd also add no changes since my last application.
I don't do on line, I have my daughter to fill in most of my forms, because of my concentration levels are very limited.
It really helps having the option 👍
