I haven’t read Katherine Center before but I did go ahead and order Rom-Commers for her book tour for when she comes to St Louis! Hope I enjoy it! Lol 😆
As a huge Lisa Wingate fan, I really wanted Shelterwood. So I had to pick a main selection. 😐 I choose One-Star Romance for the main pick. I'm not super interested so we'll see!

I know....BoTM made some interesting choices this month.
I got the 1 Star Romance and Leather and Lark. SO-O-O EXCITED for Leather and Lark! I don’t remember Butcher and Blackbird being especially smutty, in fact, I would say it was a slow burn. These books are more graphically violent and gross.
Okay then I might have to check it out because of how much buzz it's getting. I just wasn't sure it would be for me if overly smutty.
I am still on the fence if I want to pick up a box this month or skip. Like you said most of what I want are the add-on’s.
I ended up skipping. I wasn’t too impressed unfortunately. I’m hoping July will have some better ones.

Hello.. I hated the choices...read the preview of A talent for murder and it had profanity right off the bat so nixed it...chose The Collective which was a member fave and Dead Wake as I love Erik Larson.. trying to get to 12 boxes for the free birthday book etc...they seem to be going after a younger rom com market and I like something with substance enjoy your videos... keep up the good work... have a great summer!
Profanity doesn't bother me in the least as I typically swear like a sailor so that wouldn't have been a problem for me. Lol. The Collective is really, really good!
I didn’t choose any of the June releases. Instead, I chose a fan favorite option? I chose Five Broken Blades and then added on the Ruth Ware.

I got 4 books so I thought it was a good month. I’m most looking forward to Margot and Jackpot Summer! I’m currently reading Butcher and Blackbird so I’m not sure yet if it’s for me.
I skipped because Jackpot Summer was not a main pick. I was also hoping Riley Sager's new book would be featured.
Riley Sager is typically July, not June. If he is going to be featured it will either be as a late add-on after his release date or in July
I wanted leather and lark and RomCommers so I chose the romance option as the main pick. I definitely wasn’t feeling any of the main ones but since they made the two I was looking forward to getting from BOTM as add ons I just had to do it. I’m hoping I don’t regret getting One Star Romance.
Not in Love I am borrowing from my library before deciding if I want to own it. I have liked most of her books but they seem to be repetitive. This one is apparently erotic according to her authors note and I’m not sure if I can read that much spice by her 🙈

How are the add-ons chosen? It felt like being forced to get a fruit cup in the school cafeteria because they ran out of the chocolate pudding cups.
