I had a similar situation happen while beach camping off of Crystal beach in Texas. A storm rowed in with some pretty strong winds. The Arb awning and 2500x2500 tent room held up surprisingly well but some rain water was getting into to room. I too suspect the zipper track at the bottom of the tent. It was raining sideways and the winds were shifting alot so Iam not combining About its build quality. I also lowered one pole to keep the water from gathering on top off the awning. We used an oversized towel to wipe the floor from time to time. My answer was to buy some micro sleeping cot to keep our bedding off the floor ....problem solved
I have since also in invested in a small cot to keep me a few inches off the ground but I haven’t camped in anything bad since. The storm that night was probably the worst I had camped through in years. This winter I’m planning on testing the awning room in the snow to see how it does with that!
Hey! We just had a similar experience with our ARB awning room in torrential rain. I think water was coming through the zippers from splashback, but also through the zippers. Was bailing with a pack towel in the middle of the night. Any luck keeping the rain out since this video?
Wow you have very handsome dogs!!
