My first classical experience...I honestly don't know what's coming over me, but I've repeatedly listened for 3 months it's soooo relaxing/therapeutic. WAGING WAR AGAINST post MENOPAUSE ANXIETY THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME!!!❤❤❤❤❤
When the hearts and minds of three outstanding musicians connect as they did here, the result is indescribable ecstasy. The world is fortunate that artists of this stature contribute as generously as they do to enrich our lives. Many thanks.
So am I, Naomi. Which is quite remarkable considering I don't like classical music in general. The performance by these musicians is probably the best I've ever heard. People who are not moved by this are destined to be psychopaths.
Stunning! Wonderful to find this performance on here and equally to see Gordan Nikolić playing. A lot of memories from London having watched so many performances of the London Symphony Orchestra with Gordan as leader. Great times!
After Menahem Pressler, there's Lucas Jussen. No one is playing this piece of Schubert in such profound and deeply connected to our souls. Rest assured, Lucas Jussen will be known as one of the best pianist of the millennium.
best version i have heard so far. i really like this slow and smooth interpretation. the 3 gentlemen are to the point. recording and acoustics are great! 11:11 love this end section
Revising my first comment below, Lucas was not an accompanist, he was an equal member of the trio, and this time I found the tempo just lovely for this "night" piece. So effective was the playing that the audience did not want to break the silence with applause. A sure sign of casting a spell.... Bravo.
well, absolutly well well well, with 4 minutes more then any other trio as slow as Schubert wrote it! not 8:36 Minutes, not 10 minutes, 13:34 minutes, thats it AND: emotion, feeling, musicality, i have never heard it better then by this trio my deepest compliments love that, love that, love that,
What a lovely interpretation of this beautiful work. All performed very well. i'd really like to hear Lucas venture into more chamber works like this with these two wonderful string players.- for example the two Mendelssohn trios.
I think the guy who voiced "Wow" sums it all up. What else can one say. One person says "Moving: and another, "Obsessed" Kucas is incredibly sensitive, timing is perfect, and the two strings do an amazing job. Well done and thanks to all.
Thank you Sietse-Jan for your inspiring interpretation of one of the most exquisite concertos. You and Lucas are meant to complete each one's great talent. Too bad it lasts only 14:50. Take good care and keep honouring the classics, since music, your music, is the greatest of contributions to peace and beauty on earth.
Their restrained performance and slightly slower tempo bright up the subtle dynamics of this piece. It is so balanced that every voice is heard clearly. The Notturno has long been one of my favorites and this makes it almost seem that I have not heard it before. It is a revelation. Thank you.
I listened to several recordings to find this; they observe the slight pause in the dotted figure, bravo. The story I heard was that Brahms owned a manuscript copy which he would bring out on special occasions
Merci.
can't stop listening to this! most intimate and emotional performance ever!

I've heard many interpretations of Notturno but this one is by far the best. Gentle, loving, heavenly beautiful!
La magie de SCHUBERT magnifiquement exprimée......💖💖💖
One heart and one soul sings this music. What ensemble sensitivity. And the piece brings me such peace.
I adore this piece and Schubert was the master of chamber music.
BEAUTIFUL performance, of one of the most beautiful works ever written. Almost unbearably beautiful at times!
I'm obsessed by this piece. Absolutely beautiful!

@@lucvansteenkiste3139 you Can Heard the op 100 of Schubert because I think you Can like this
@@lucvansteenkiste3139 I played it at my father's funeral, when I take over the U.S.A. we will have a ceremony @WH .
@@lucvansteenkiste3139 That accounts for Trump never inviting classical musicians to perform at the White House.
Have you ever heard anything as exquisite as this?
Too great for words ! "DIVINE" is the only one that comes through my mind.
Every possible aspect, just perfect. Thank you all!
Stunning! Wonderful to find this performance on here and equally to see Gordan Nikolić playing. A lot of memories from London having watched so many performances of the London Symphony Orchestra with Gordan as leader. Great times!
Soft yet painful. Serene yet passionate…
All the musicians do a superb job but Jussen's piano playing here is simply in a class of its own. The tone is out of this world.

Merci 💗💞❣.

What a beauty! (Music and musicians.)
Heartbreaking! Wonderful, wonderful music.
Just magic. A wonderful performance of a wonderful romantic composition.

Utterly sublime! Occupies a place in my pantheon not far from the Beethoven Late String Quartets.
Incredibly moving. I’ve held my breathe the whole time. Thank you.
Schubert' s lyric and melodic gifts surpass all other composers even of the Romantic period
Que belleza! Gracias Schubert. Excelente interpretación. Bravo.

Just beautiful…..couldn’t be played any better. Such a well balanced performance from the three of you
Under the right hands the piano is such a beautiful instrument
Under the left hands, too.

What beautiful oneness ! :-)

Heavenly music! ❤️❤️
Sublime music. Best performance I have heard of this trio.
This is superb! Bravissimi, boys :) The person with NPD being a musician makes sense when his performance can be loved to this extent.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRAVO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite piece of classical.music. That melody😢😢❤❤

Admirable pianista juvenil y preciosura del trio

Extremely beautiful and magnificent!
Exquisite.👏👏👏👏

eventually! a slow pace version : this is divine...
Lovely
Prachtig !!!
Schubert is the most underrated composer. Here’s the proof
