I haven't been really paying too much attention to the shifting on mine. I am still on the "brake-in period" so I have not given it full throttle. I have tried leaning it as much as I can on turns because I plan on taking it on some windy roads. Keep making the videos thank you.
there is a facebook page just for the 1100 people all over the globe. we are all working threw accessory issues like bags windscreens and such. Feel free to join there if you haven't yet. I got the Wife the DCT and I put about 100 miles on it and she has put about 100 on it also. great bike. I put on some highway pegs and a windscreen so far. thanks for your videos you helped me pick out the Puig screen the smaller one but it installs the same basically
@@JeffKasson yeah the batwing doesn’t seem to flow quite right at least for my taste any way. Accessories will be hitting the shelves soon just have to be patient or be handy with the tools.
@Jeff Kasson How is the windshield holding up? Any movement, or is it rock solid? what about at 80-85MPH, all OK? Those two connection points make me a little nervous, but I do like the look of this shield.
Hi Greg - I have about 500 miles on the windshield. I haven’t had to tighten or adjust it since the initial install. I mostly ride around 55mph with occasional 70+. Seems sturdy, surprisingly.
Jeff I’m trying to decide if it is worth it to switch from my Rebel 500. Your video helps to make the decision. PS. You must be holding your camera on a stick or your ground is moving.
It was an earthquake.... haha. I bought a cheap selfie stick, so maybe I should try a tripod. I can't contrast the 500 and 1100, but wow, the 1100 is a keeper!
I don't see any reason why not to go for the 1100 over the 500 unless its a budget issue. This thing is loaded with all the good stuff to keep you safe and has the power when and if you need it. 200 miles on the DCT so far
I’m using a Rokform Pro Series mount on my Rebel 1100 DCT-sits right next to the handbrake without limiting my ability to engage/disengage. Due to the shape of the handlebar, not much flexibility on placement else the phone wouldn’t be facing me directly. That being said, it’s been rock solid and working great.
@@JeffKasson Great thanks. I am 6.1. I think I am good for that height. By the way, do you find any crash bar for the Rebel 1100? I am trying to find it, but no clue.
Never apologize for owning a Honda to a Harley rider....especially THIS bike. I love mine!!! Keep the videos coming!
I agree. I think this bike is going to become part of me over time. Honda did a great job.
Nice looking bike. The fairing looks good when available.
Thanks. Check out my last video, where si list more info about the fairing.

Thanks for the kind comments!
Great video. You talked about many points that you don’t find elsewhere. I think the DCT is awesome and truly the future of sport riding.
Thank you for your kind comment! I’m really enjoying this bike.
Jeff I hope that you keep making videos........I really enjoy every single one!!! Patrick from The Lou
Pat - thanks so much for the kind comments. I have some more planned for specific reviews after I get my rack and luggage.

Super! Thanks a bunch for the information. I really would like the Honda batwing, but I don’t want to pay $700. The rebel tribe is growing!

@@ripkej77 Yep! Can’t wait for my rear rack. Want to get a top case mounted and start traveling.
Nice cruiser 👍
Thanks!

Hi,can you please tell me what windshield you have and how is the protection? Thanks. Chuck
Hi Charles - check out the comments on my last video, where I covered the windshield. There are links there.
I thought it was Clint Eastwood , your squinting so much. Go ahead, make my day.
Now I'm going to have that music in my head all day....
@@JeffKasson if you want a treat check out the Danish symphony orchestra. As they do Ennio Morriconi, better than anyone. On youtube
@@kennypool thanks. Is that the ukulele orchestra? They did a great version of the music from clints old spaghetti westerns.
Great video! Thx
Glad you liked it!

I would get the 1100 and grow into it. It will future proof your money.
Great Review Jeff ! Do you use any phone Mount ? as you have DCT which have hand Brake , where you placing your phone mount (If you use one)?

Thanks! I don’t have a phone mount. For me, it is too distracting.
Hi, have you made any adjustments to your suspension?? Thanks.
No adjustments to the suspension. I weigh about 150lbs. It seems fine as-is.
Is your windshield from Honda accessory?
Or a third party? I am looking for a windshield, but couldn’t find it... glad you find it.
It is not from Honda. It is a Puig universal touring screen.
@@JeffKasson Is it fit well? Are there any additional adjustments?
@@anxj6948 it fits fine. If you are short, the screen might be too tall.

What model Puig windshield is that?
You said universal touring, do you have a number please?
Thanks
