The lack of outlets and space on side tables on bedsides on newer ships/rooms annoys me. I travel with my CPAP and I need an outlet and something wide enough to set the machine on (it isn't huge, but still needs a bit of room).

A big hindrance for us -- we BOTH have a CPAP machine and we tend to take land vacations, as we are timeshare owners.

Not a bad cabin. I've only had a balcony door that swung open, not a sliding one, and I would certainly prefer a sliding. One thing I really dislike is that the swinging ones have a tendency to slam, even if you try to keep it from slamming. Surprise, surprise, there's wind out on the ocean!

That's why I don't like balcony cabins. The balconies are usually too windy and I end up not even sitting out there.

Ok Morgan... sit down. I removed the bathroom door in my RV. Yep... took it out, cut it up and BURNED it!! You see, I live in my RV, and that door weighed about 40 pounds, and everything I own is in here with me, so I have needed to shed weight. If you come visit, (hah!) I'll rent a porta potty for you.. :P I will put up a curtain .. but it is only me in the RV, so it will be finnnnne.

I don't think I've ever been in a cabin that didn't have a mini-fridge, and we often go with interior cabins.

That looks like a great cabin except for the bed light situation. Our favorite feature of our MSC Merivigilia cruise was the lights that dimmed and the reading lights. Great touch that makes a big difference. I'm surprised more cruise lines don't consider how important that is.

That’s the difference between a cruise ship and an ocean liner! An ocean liner wouldn’t sway that easily in what looks like calm conditions.

A book light would be good for reading if they still make them. The other person could also use an eye nask. I just got one for our westbound red-eye flight. We need to hit the ground running.

Looks like a great cabin. I also prefer a sliding balcony door, not that I have experienced the opening door, but would think it would get in the way a bit when sitting on the balcony. All the cruises I have been on, have had a mini fridge. Graesen - South Africa

Hi Morgan, I think it is standard for cruise ship cabins to have a mini fridge as I have been on a number of cruises and all have a mini fridge.

When we had a cruise on the Allure standard Balcony it was so not like that for things, like the closets. I was NOT a fan of those showers on the Allure I'll tell you that. I kept hitting things and at that time I was a lot smaller.
