  • How do four people sleep in a balcony in an oasis class Royal Caribbean ship? No Pullman beds in sight!

    Thank you for FINALLY showing the 4-person configuration! You're right; no one actually shows how the beds are set up in 4-person rooms. Also, opening up the balcony door and hearing all the noise outside, then closing the door and showing how well it blocks out the noise was a huge plus for us!

    thank you for this video. very helpful. My family will be going on Symphony in January and we have never had a cabin with 4 in it so knowing the setup was helpful. bummer about not being able to get to the balcony with the trundle out. was looking forward to hanging out there with some drinks after the kids went to bed.

    Thank you for doing this tour. We have an upcoming cruise on Symphony of the Seas, and my wife and I were really curious how it was going to work. Thanks again!

      You’re so welcome! Each cruise ship is a little different and I was really trying to find out which kid was going to have to climb the ladder! I like this set up. Although I should recommend requesting a foam mattress topper for the king. It was like sleeping on a box spring with no mattress in top. Very, very rigid. Don’t be polite like we were. Ask your cabin steward right away. We wished we had.

    I hope that 4th person part can be made larger unless I have a dwarf traveling with us

    Thank you for posting this video. We are sailing in May. Could you tell me if they have an iron?

    Apparently all of the quad balcony rooms on Oasis class ships have the beds close to the bathroom and the couch/pullout bed next to the balcony while the 2-3 person rooms are opposite. Slight design flaw there. Makes so much more sense to have the pullout sofa bed near the bathroom that way the walkway path to the balcony is not obstructed and also peace of mind with children. 😅

      What great information! I wonder if it’s the same in the cabins of the ships built after Symphony? If only Royal designers would solicit out expert observations!

      I think this design makes more sense.. The pullout can just tuck in in the morning when you mostly will enjoy the balcony.. Meanwhile imagine when you need to go pee in the middle of the night and need to pass people who are sleeping at the floor level to go to the bathroom most likely in the dark..

    Is that shower head removable for rinsing or does it just adjust up and down that bar? Thanks ahead!

    Great content! Could you please let me know if magnets will stick to the outside of the door?

    • @masterofthemagictravel
      @masterofthemagictravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! There are several magnetized messages from the stateroom stewards for various things and our neighbors had a white board we played tick tack toe on.

    The room is very tight. One person in the trundle is basically sleeping on the floor.

    I noticed you have bottled water. I bought the water package. It says “cans” but hoping it’s bottled.

      That’s a great question. I can see a blog post from about two years ago citing the change and the reason being that aluminum is more easily recyclable. We had the refreshment package so anytime we asked for bottled water at a bar we were given a plastic bottle. I bet you can ask your cabin steward about the possibility of an exchange from cans to bottles. As they say, it never hurts to ask. Happy sailing!
