@@thezeppa1948 I imagine this reply is getting to you too late, but when I've cruised on Carnival, there were two shows, so both dining times could be accommodated to see a show.
One thing I've noticed about Royal is that the ship matters more than most other cruise lines. Some ships have features that other Royal ships do not. It's important to make sure the specific ship on Royal has what you want, or doesn't have what you don't want.
Found this out looking to book our first cruise. My cousin is a AAA travel agent and told us there is no cost to book through them and we didn’t need a membership.
I like to snag some ranger cookies in a ziplock bag, bring them home and freeze them…. For when I’m feeling the cruise withdrawals… it helps a little hahaha!!
Absolutely. We went on our first cruise this past April. Only spent about $300. Got a cruise offer. We are leaving in 45 day on a 3 night on Liberty We paid $110 for. Use that players card.
Another HUGE Thing that Royal wont tell you.. Gratuities - The daily Gratuities they tack on are **OPTIONAL** They are NOT mandatory. They do the 'Auto Gratuities' as a 'CONVENIENCE' for the passengers. As long as you do not Prepay these 'Fees', you can adjust them on board - you can even remove them, *IF* you cash tip. We Cash Tip - If we have the Unlimited Dining Package. We want to TIP those folks who are serving us. Why should we also Tip the MDR if we aren't eating there? Are you going to go into the specialty restaurants and give a waiter a tip without eating there? Then why should you do it for the MDR staff? But PLEASE Dont be 'That Person' who removes the Auto Gratuities and then doesn't Cash Tip... That is just flat out WRONG ! Lastly, I spoke with the Hotel Manager last fall, it was either on the Grandeur or the Serenade. I asked about 'where do these tips go' They primarily go to Cabin Stewards, and MDR Wait Staff. I asked 'What about Guest Services ? *NO* What about dishwashers in the MDR? *NO* What about the crew who are constantly dusting and wiping down *NO* Now I have heard a rumor, that the Photography team gets some of these tips.... but again, I'm not using that service, why should I tip them? Are you going to go into the Spa and tip the attendants when you dont get a spa treatment ? Of course not. ... These 'behind the scenes' people should be paid by Royal for what they are worth.
Also if you have two outside balconies beside one another on an RC cruise you can ask them to remove the divider in between the decks and you can be connected via your deck doors. As well as have a bigger shared deck space.
I don't think you mentioned this but was working and listening at the same time so may have missed it. When booking internet packages the app makes it look like if more than 1 person in the party wants internet you have to buy it separately for each person. However you can book say 2 internet packages for yourself and let your partner use your second package. This is better as the more packages you buy the cheaper it is. With more than 2 in the party (kids friends etc) you can save even more.

We’ve found some great Connecting Cabins on Celebrity especially. On the Edge Class they have the connecting doors on the outside in the hallway. So if you want to connect you can form a hallway and share one door entrance. It’s great! Also, we’ve had a great Connecting Ocean View Balcony Cabin on Quantum of the Seas with Royal Caribbean. But that is the only cabin out of 6 that we’ve experienced to be good on Royal so the chances aren’t great 😅

Last cruise I was able to get a bunch (like 3 doz) coconut rangers from the buffet and the cafe, put them in freezer bags, and yes took them off the ship on disembarkation day LOL!! Is that allowed you ask? The answer is an unequitable NO! It's agents US customs and border protection laws to bring ANY food that's not packaged for retail like off the ship into the US. If I got caught I could have gotten them confiscated and fined. But, they're really not looking for cookies as much as drugs.

Thank you for a very informative video… We haven't cruised on Royal Caribbean in a very long time and will be cruising in April 2025 on Voyager of the seas so this video was very helpful… Thank you!!
Here is one more… My Time Dining is not “Any Time Dining” - and you cannot pre-book your dining time until you get on the ship. And that will most likely be a time too early or too late for you to enjoy your dinner.
Definitely a good point for those wanting to dine at a specific time every night. We have grown to love eating at early dining times so we can get in and out of the dining hall without any waits to be seated. ☺️ You can pre-book dining in the Cruise Planner but the prime times are limited and do go quickly.
My travel agent has always booked our dinner reservations for 6:45PM every evening with no problem. We travel as a family, six of us, so it works out good to get a six top.
You can book your my time dining ahead of time. Prime times go quick but never had an issue just showing up on embarkation day and being sat at a table in 10 minutes or less.
How would a parent sleep with their underaged kids accross the hall, when you can have them right next to your door with the connecting door open to keep an eye on the
Just back from a royal cruise 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 loved every minute of it. Rhapsody of the Sea dining team were fantastic, stateroom attendant , just wonderful. Only issue is the Wi-Fi is rubbish I’m afraid…… don’t bother, just jump on a free Wi-Fi when you get to the islands.
On Norwegian you have to pay per person for chatting!! This is a better feature on Royal for free. You & your partner look like lots of fun you look like you have a good sense of humor
The hot tubs on Liberty of the Seas were not open past 10pm last week. May have something to do with the drunk 20 year old partying late in the hot tub then decided to jump off the ship.
We believe you might not have looked past one Hottub then as there is at least one open on the ship, but it does change each night and sometimes in the middle of the night, on which one is open. ☺️
Do these tips include Celebrity???? I'm a Royal Caribbean fan, but I'm going on a Celebrity cruise next week - due to the price - I guess since Celebrity is owned by Royal most of these are on both - I hope.
How the heck did I not know about the 24 hour hot tubs?! Great tips! I always forget about the option to cancel and rebook during sales. I notice Royal has 35 percent off right now!
Royal Caribbean. My partner and I cruised aboard "Navigator of the Seas" October, 2023. It was a charter, Gay cruise booked through Atlantis Events. (They have a website). The crew were great, the food? Not. Upcharge at the "Chops" restaurant? Not worth it. The lobster bisque? Tasted like hot paprika soup. David swapped it for a salad. The "Jamie's Italian"? Even worse. David is Italian, and knows how to cook. Room service? My "grilled cheese" sandwich was two limp slices of bread, with an American cheese slice. Pathetic.
It’s a tradition of ours to get in the hot tub past midnight while on our cruises. We’ve done this on every single RC ship we’ve been on. They close all but 1 hot tub, but there is always 1 open, you just have to find it 😀.
@JJCruise I can assure you neither of those ships ever had a hot tub open late at night. Trust me...I looked! I wanted to go when they wouldn't be as crowded. They were all closed every night...rip off!
We’ve been on both of those ships as well and have been in hot tubs on both past midnight. That being said, if you went during Covid, they may have had some additional restrictions at that time. 🤷🏽♂️ Sorry you never found one! We were just on four side to side RCCL ships and each one had them open as well including Mariner of the Seas, Grandeur and Enchantment of the Seas (all sisters ships). Here’s hoping you find a Hottub past midnight in your next RCCL Cruise! 🥂
2,500 points gets you Prime Status. It depends on what game you play. Slots, Video Poker, and Table Games are all different. The easiest way is through slots which tend to be most volatile. You would need to play through $12,500 to hit 2,500 points. That would be 5 tier points per dollar played. This does not mean lose $12,500, but rather play through. Some will lose, some will win, others will be even, and many will lose a good amount. Odds do vary so it’s impossible to know the average person’s win/loss, but every casino favors the house to win, so no one should expect to win overall. (Even though there will be those who do) More info found in our video here: th-cam.com/video/CWenKFxOx8s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-kRQ1fabRl66XozE

Thank you for a very informative video… We haven't cruised on Royal Caribbean in a very long time and will be cruising in April 2025 on Voyager of the seas so this video was very helpful… Thank you!!
Thanks so much for all the gems, great video new subbie here✋🏾
Can I status match with Princess? I am Elite on Princess.
No. Princess is part of Carnival Corp. They do not match their loyalty programs. RCCL & Celebrity do.
Thanks Jared great info 👍
Thanks for watching! 🥳
are there any cruise lines with free wifi??
of course not
Cant you lose your cabin if you try to save money by canceling & rebooking if they are sold out?
Oh my! Taking cookies home even!
Jared do you know if Princess Cruise does status match with Carnival? I’m platinum on Carnival but want to go on Princess too
No, Carnival does not status match with Princess.
You can pre-book dining in the Cruise Planner but the prime times are limited and do go quickly.
I've always been able to book my dining times prior to boarding a RCCL ship.
You can book dining on the cruise planner
My travel agent has always booked our dinner reservations for 6:45PM every evening with no problem. We travel as a family, six of us, so it works out good to get a six top.
You can book your my time dining ahead of time. Prime times go quick but never had an issue just showing up on embarkation day and being sat at a table in 10 minutes or less.
How much is it to travel and what is the shortest trip
Almost to 60k woo hoo you guys rock 🎉
Thanks Lori! 🥰🥳
I don't know if it's changed but with Royal Caribbean if you booked with a travel agent you didn't get loyalty points, is that still true?
We have never heard of that. We’ve only used a travel agent and always gotten our points!
24 hour hot tub on Ovation even? What's the location? 💜👍🏻
They change the Hottub up every night so they can clean the others every night ☺️
@@JJCruisethanks for the info, love your channel 💜👍🏻
Great tips! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!! 🤗
I won 18000 on a 50cent bet
Congrats! That’s a Huge win!
Do they ever sell tickets on the cruise for reduced rates on alcoholic beverages?
On Norwegian you have to pay per person for chatting!! This is a better feature on Royal for free. You & your partner look like lots of fun you look like you have a good sense of humor
The hot tubs on Liberty of the Seas were not open past 10pm last week. May have something to do with the drunk 20 year old partying late in the hot tub then decided to jump off the ship.
That may be the reason why as every ship is supposed to have at least one Hottub open 24 hours.
So sad to hear that story. 😢
I've been on several RC ships and they have never had any hot tubs open past around 7pm. Rip off!
We believe you might not have looked past one Hottub then as there is at least one open on the ship, but it does change each night and sometimes in the middle of the night, on which one is open. ☺️
That happened in the Bahamas ?
OMG I love that you share the tea!
Thanks for watching! 🥳
Yes! Such an awesome sale and if a better sale happens after booking, we can just rebook at the lower rate! 🥳
Chat only works with linked reservations
Thanks for the info 👍🏾
Park Cafe isn’t open enough hours.
30th cruise
Slow down my boy
RC would NOT allow me to book a room for my son (11) or daughter (15) directly across from mine because neither were over 21.
I wish I had known last month that there is a 24 hour hot tub!
Thank you!
Since rccl charges for water ill never cruise with them
Good information
Ive been loyal to Carnival but my nucket list is too travel on different cruise lines. Ill get to Royal soon
Definitely recommend trying multiple lines! ☺️
I used my Diamond pecks on celebrity as an Elite to use my internet connection 😂😂😂
Great video
Thank you!! 🤗
The chat feature has NOT been reliable on several sailings.
Another reason to Not Get a connecting cabin, there is less storage area!
Pathetic.
So when did Royal Caribbean personally tell YOU what they won’t tell other, then told you to tell us?
RC absolutely does NOT have a 24 hour hot tub on every ship. Ive been on adventure and vision and neither had hot tubs open past 7pm..
Sorry you never found one! We were just on four side to side RCCL ships and each one had them open as well including Mariner of the Seas, Grandeur and Enchantment of the Seas (all sisters ships).
Here’s hoping you find a Hottub past midnight in your next RCCL Cruise! 🥂
@JJCruise fair point. One was pre covid and one post covid! I feel jipped! Lol.
I've never gotten a ranger cookie because of the cookie hogs.😢
How much do you have to bet to get 25000 points?
2,500 points gets you Prime Status. It depends on what game you play. Slots, Video Poker, and Table Games are all different.
The easiest way is through slots which tend to be most volatile. You would need to play through $12,500 to hit 2,500 points. That would be 5 tier points per dollar played. This does not mean lose $12,500, but rather play through. Some will lose, some will win, others will be even, and many will lose a good amount. Odds do vary so it’s impossible to know the average person’s win/loss, but every casino favors the house to win, so no one should expect to win overall. (Even though there will be those who do)

well I couldn't watch the video all the way through because you take forever to get to the point but kudos on how happy and fun you seem best of luck with your channel
