Tom Petty, I won't back down cover in open G with slide solo

My guitar cover of "I won't back down" in open G Tuning=D,G,D,G,B,D with back tracks on my Epiphone Special on a Fender Mustang Amp. I saw a clip of Mike Campbell playing this song and figured out he did it in open G tuning. This allowed him to play the chords with a one finger barre so he could do the lead with a slide on his pinky. All chords are played with a single barre, i.e. E(E-minor)=9th fret, D=7th fret, C=5th fret and obviously G=open.

NICE .. ihave two guitars one tuned to open G and one tuned to DADFAC for a totally different sound use mostly copper slides getting arthritis in my fingers cant do bends anymore using thumb pick and fingers like your approach
