Tom didn't know what to do until George said he might know a drummer. Tom asked him to call this person and 30 minutes later Ringo walks in. Everyone said "Oh yeah, George Harrison knows a drummer!!" 🙂

Today I was looking for some sign in my life that I desperately needed, and this song came on the radio. I knew Tom and his brother Bruce in the early 1970s when I went to college there. Even had dinner at their house. Just down home people...their mother was a sweetheart.

Also I remember a close friend of Tom and the band (and mine), Nancy Luca, who had her own band and I partied with her and Tom occasionally. Tom was just a regular guy - 100%! I thought Nancy would also become a super-star - she DEFINITELY had the talent!

7 years Ago my doctor told me I had parkinson's. I did as I was told and gradually deteriorated. Recently I've BEen Evaluated by Another doctor and found to have Lyme disease Which Is Curable . I begin therapy immediately And feel hope for the 1st time in years. "I'll stand my ground and i won't back down."

This experience is all too common, unfortunately. I had a raft of crap diagnoses over 25-30 years until Lyme was found. My practitioners tell me I am at 90-95 percent better now. Yes!!!!

The actual story is great: apparently the guy who played drums on the record didn't show up for the filming. Tom didn't know what to do until George said he might know a drummer. Tom asked him to call this person and 30 minutes later Ringo walks in. Everyone said "Oh yeah, George Harrison knows a drummer!!" 🙂

Suggest you find a support with battling the same addiction - its a lot easier with the group's support. Always remember its gets better one day at a time or at least it is for me and has been for the past 40 years.

Also I remember a close friend of Tom and the band (and mine), Nancy Luca, who had her own band and I partied with her and Tom occasionally. Tom was just a regular guy - 100%! I thought Nancy would also become a super-star - she DEFINITELY had the talent!
