That's actually really cute haha. Wouldn't get it for myself right now but I would've absolutely loved this as a kid
I'm with you ETAPrime, move the usb ports to the back, use a microSD ribbon to put the microSD on the back/bottom, line the side vent holes up better with the fan, and maybe use a little bit of clear acrylic ducting to duct air directly into the fan from the outside.
I'm ok with not screwing in the front LCD, but they should make it so it clips in.
OR have a single thumb screw to hold it in place.
That case looks suspiciously a lot like the one designed by the TH-camr Michael Klements
Edit: It's slightly different mainly because it's shorter because it's not made to accommodate a battery backup and the OLED panel housing is different, but still looks very similar even to the cut outs on the acrylic panels
This is the first Klement's case with a different placement for the oled. Michael even talks about how it was ripped off from him in one of his videos

This looks like a remix of the cases presented by Michael Klements. He's done a number of these with various functionalities.

Resin 3D printed would have looked perfect, like a real finished product.
Or CF-HTPLA. You can't see the layer lines if the machine is dialed in well enough.
@@poisonouslead85 resin printers give amazing results, what you print looks like it was done professionally if your model is any good. Only downside is the clean-up involved, which actually isn't even that huge of an issue anymore since you can get resin that only requires a water rinse. It's literally night and day with PLA if you're trying to do anything professional looking - but resin isn't as durable and if you print items with hallow interiors, and they don't drain completely, they'll literally explode at a random date in the future.

Looks really neat. A card scraper, maybe a little wood filler, and some sanding followed by primer and paint and you'd never know that it was 3d printed. I've been thinking about repurposing my Pi4 that I got to control my 3d printer since I haven't used it to do so yet and I'm not even close to ready to do it. I've got an ice tower and I've been trying to think of a neat way to use it. I get sick of surfing the internet on my phone and I was thinking about integrating it into the coffee table, possibly making a tablet out of it, or doing something along those lines so when the TV is in use I have a means to entertain myself.
Neat...it looks cool but, I agree 100% with you... If I wanted a tower type thing, I want it clean in the front, maybe... 1 USB port (a small etx type thing)...

NuPhy Air 75 to be more precise. Beautiful keyboard with excellent connectivity options. However the keycaps are not shine-through... but they look nice. Also shipping is hella expensive to EU.

Awesome case! Agree, it should have screw holes for that OLED display. Also, think it would be better if the Raspberry Pi ports were in the back and not the front like it is.
I'm working on a few designs for cases for the Raspberry Pi, I think I have seen the designers original videos, nice looking case.I do however prefer the dual fan HAT
Cute idea but with all the mini PCs running Celeron CPUs for under $200, I just can't imagine a use for this.
A Pi4 is still a lot cheaper. But not nearly as powerful. It’s a case of you get what you pay for.

Why not drill some holes for your own screw mounts ? Then make a small metal frame to fit on it.
I/O belongs on the back, also the missing I/O shield makes it look cheap, especially the gap around the ethernet port. Front should have a power button. Great nidea tho.
Isnt it cheaper as a whole being 3D Printed? Probably one of the points behind it, aside from being easy to mass produce i would think..

Uhm, you are actually using one of the wrong acrylic side panels. They include 4 sides, so you can mount a Pi 3 or the Pi 4. (As you assembled the case with the Pi 3 I/O panel on the gpio side.) A further clarification might be needed for those viewers who aren't familiar with this Klement case. This kit will work for both Pi3 and Pi4.

You get loads of traffic you take it to 2.5ghz no matter the challege involved.
Got an idea, do it yourself watch this space the boards are made 10 miles from me so its fitting i do the mods.
It keeps all the ports on the front and side, no breakout board, and no regulated cooling, with stuff like the Argon One out there, this is really not a great option.
And apparently they just stole the entire thing from a youtuber, with zero compensation.
Probably not the sort of company you'd want to endorse.

i fight my argon case to trash, not good, after ice tower run lot more cool than whit shit argon case. argon my game settup has normal 60-80 C hot but ice tower cooler have now max only 40-55 C hard games same than before but lot coolest no heat.

I dont know who personally came up with the design, but it is one of them designs, were you think why on earth. The ethernet and USB should be on the back and then there should have been an male to female GPIO header/extension cable on the front.
My thoughts too. I have the impression it was made this way just to look at the RGB fan.

Thanks for the video... I just ordered the GeeeekPi from 52Pi which is similar to the one you show (looks 3D printed and you have to glue the OLED in apparently), but slightly different look. It also incorporates a mount to allow an SSD to be install under the Pi. I notice that this one as well as yours included to OLED displays... any reason why there are two? Not that I'm complaining, can always use a second... Depending on how I like the case, I may print my own and add screw holes or a clip of some sort.... Thanks again!

I have seen a few variations of this case on other channels. Do you know if the project files are public for us to 3D print these ourselves? Or do we just have to kind of recreate them?
It really needs a way to mount an SSD internally. Using a microSD card with the Pi 4 is ridiculous. An SSD is so much faster and cheaper than a good microSD card.

Case design I believe was coped TH-camr. Also the 3D printer files are available. As a designer of 3D computer parts including some that look like this case I’m a bit concerned that Amazon doesn’t care if designer are getting ripped off or not. From the comments post on your channel I believe a lot a person agree with me. Recently I have designed a Raspberry pi zero security camera case that looks like a bird feeder. I only one photo posted on Instagram and now I see others putting out the same design. I’m ok with that as long as someone posts a comment on how they got my design. Making 3D replacement parts for small manufacturers is where the money is. As long as you go there the right channels.
Question? If you put a game image micro SD in this case will it still retain the pi info stats on the oled while your gaming?
