I know this is an old ass video, and I may sound overly emotional, but when he said he's not going to stop speaking up against Onision, and just knowing he _still_ kept to that promise, made me tear up. It doesn't really bother me that Onision made fun of fat people. People can say whatever they want for comedic purposes, as messed up as it can be. What does bother me is that - 1. Onision can't take an ounce of criticism in return, and always tries to justifyl himself. 2. He feeds his fans a lot of misleading information, like that being fat is a choice that can easily be reversed just by 'eating less', which is almost (but not quite) as stupid as telling a depressed person to get over it and 'be happy'
Onision was diagnosed with chronic depression, and he got over it without medication. He says "be happy" because you don't need medication to make you better. Your life choices can help you get over depression. And he helps people get over anorexia, bulimia, and self harming. I get he's not a perfect person, but neither is anyone else. So stop hating on someone who brings other people joy and helps them get through things. And people have a choice to watch his videos or not, so they have a choice to get offended by him or not.

Does he not realise that many parents don't have the financial means and education to make the right dietary choices for their children? Instead of targeting the parents ignorance about nutrition maybe he should get angry about the minimum wage, the education in schools, the help available for parents in the health care system and their access to nutritionists. I agree with you. My husband and I have had this conversation. I sometimes think it's a conspiracy to try to kill the poor. Healthy foods, ie. fruit, vegetables etc. are so much more expensive than junk food. People that receive aid such as food stamps have to make that money last 1 month and essentially have to make 3 meals a day plus snacks. If they buy all healthy options, they would maybe get 2 weeks worth of food, yet they buy the not so healthy foods the they can get 1 month worth. If a family of 4 has $10 to go out to eat dinner with they may want to have salads and such, but they can go to McDonald's and feed everyone with the $10, they truly cannot get everyone a salad. Hamburger $0.79/Cheeseburger $0.89. Salad $5.89. If they want to really and truly want eradicate obesity in the US, lower the coat of healthy food. Offer a nutritionist to talk to while providing the food stamps.

When I first started I was putting some money aside so I could buy healthier items, but why I had to save prior to making the switch is beyond me! I’ve made a few changes to my diet already, but it still feels like it’s not good enough. I’m not ready to quit, but it is becoming a draining battle mentally. All I think about is food, because if I’m not fasting more than half my day, I’m obsessing over what’s going inside my body. I had to start eating meat (at least chicken and fish) after being vegetarian since I was 8 (I'm 13 now). I have a b12 deficiency, which can also cause anemia. So yeah, 10000% agree.
@@timothylarkin4916 iron supplements certainly can help, but not all iron is the same. Vegetables contain non-heme iron, meat contains heme iron. Heme iron is more easily absorbed by our bodies. The vast majority of iron supplements are vegetable-based, so non-heme. Though there are some heme iron supplements out there, they are animal-based.
You can get plenty of iron from plants. If you eat iron-rich plant foods in combination with certain other foods it is more readily absorbed by your body, look it up.

I was a fan until the fallout with Skye and then almost immediately with Shiloh. I only watched his joke vids and not onision speaks. I thought it was extremely messed up to follow people around the house with a camera during arguments after being told to be left alone. I think I left completely after the seizure and panic attack videos. That is not fun or cool or funny AT ALL. It was alarming af.

Thank you for saying this. I'm morbidly obese due having a very under active thyroid and have Sleep Apnea which makes it so hard to lose weight. I've had these health issues since I was a teenager, but was never diagnosed till I was in my late 20's. I came across the I'm so Fat video the other day. I'm not sure if there are many other people out there like me, but I literally could not go vegan or vegetarian. It's not because I love animals products so much, it's because I can't eat a salad without nearly vomiting regardless of how good or how bad the plants taste. I can eat citrus fruits no problem, but most plants I just can't keep down.

this video isn't exactly new, but regardless i want to say that i agree with everything you said, especially the part about everyone having a different body. for example, due to some stomach issues i have (i have had 2 surgeries done), there are some foods that other people say are healthy but have different impacts entirely on my stomach. like typically brown rice is seen as healthier than white rice, but my nutritionist told me that white rice is actually much better for me personally

I am so glad you addressed this. It's absolutely disgusting how he treats this poor, naive, young woman. She is making the choice to be in this relationship, but she is 18 and he is almost 30. Due to his experience and actions, it is quite obvious he is purposely taking advantage of her and using her lack of experience to his advantage. I can understand the point about not feeding kids junk food regularly, but he saying it's abusive is kind of far, especially when he treats his wife the way that he does. Not sure on MrRepzion's exact reason, but many youtubers do this in tribute to zefrank. (one of the original vlogers) His lack of blinking is done out of respect to the viewer. It's kind of like giving all of your attention to someone while having a conversation with them.

I think its more effective to attack the people spewing the body-negative shit. Teenagers are always going to be impressionable and it won't matter how many times we tell them to be happy with themselves and their bodies, because there will always be these nasty voices (ie the media, advertisements, ect) whispering in their ear, telling them that they aren't good enough. I know my parents always told me I was beautiful despite my jiggling belly, but I couldn't help hating myself. I felt disgusting, even when my friends told me I wasn't, even when my brothers insisted I had nothing to worry about. Remove the negative voices, show kids and teenagers that they are wrong, and then we can work on making them happy.

Aussie Ducky "those negative voice" isn't a bullying matter. It's something everyone faces really no matter your size because everyone is insecure. I'm not saying bullying is okay what I'm trying to say is that you can't say that media/society has to be more open to heavier set women. I don't believe either extreme should be a role model. There should be a normal girl with a lean body and a guy with a healthy build but that's not going to happen. Media will portray the perfect image because that's what being a "celebrity" is about. Everyone struggles with being insecure but it's about finding your way through those times and coming out a better person and being happier with whatever body shape you're dealt with because some bodies just have a horrible metabolism... BUT healthy is good/energizing/focusing/etc. It makes you feel better not only about yourself but about waking up every morning and facing the day. Granted that I don't really care, people can be who they want to be.... ... we should really keep at least a healthy image as the role models of our society. Obesity is basically like smoking in my eyes. You know it can be unhealthy, you know not everyone will like it, and you know that you'll have a shorter life span. But if you enjoy yourself or are content with yourself I'm not here to judge. We just shouldn't be promoting "smoking"

People are bullied, shamed and driven to suicide for their weight. People are denied jobs for their weight (and not jobs that require physical strength or killer looks, but jobs like stacking shelves or serving people food). I didn't go outside much as a teenager due to my insecurities, but my best friend did. Like me, she was a chubby girl, but unlike me she was perfectly happy in her body; but when she went out to the shops, she told me of people that would shout "whale" or "fatty" across the street. She told me of people who stared at her pointedly in a restaurant because she was eating what she wanted, rather then picking at salad - staring like they were observing a hippo in its natural environment. Though it happened to neither of us (thankfully), people have been attacked for their weight. One woman I know of was driven off the road while cycling and into the bushes, resulting in scabs and bloody hands, by a group of men in a car, laughing and mocking her for her weight. And those celebrity images we see? Those models in the clothing ad? Photoshoped. All of them, without fail, are photoshoped. They've had their eyes enlarged and waists made thinner; they've been made whiter and had all their blemishes removed. That's what I meant when I say impossible expectations. Those images are literally everywhere. They are inescapable. Its those images that make fat people ashamed to existence, and those images that drive teenagers to starve themselves to death. Anorexia has the highest rate of deaths of any mental illness. Also, not everyone is able to exercise everyday. Some people's weight is the result of circumstances. They work long hours and don't have the time to cook or workout. They have a disability and find it painful or difficult to exercise. Or, like you said, just have a shitty metabolism which means that they can exercise for weeks and lose hardly anything. Fat people of varying sizes exist and should be acknowledged as people and not walking balls of blubber. Being underweight isn't alright, but it is definitely more acceptable then being overweight; with clothes on, people can't tell skinny people have a problem. And again, I'm not saying being overweight it a state that should be encouraged. No-one wants to promote being incredibly unhealthy. But people who are overweight, or just a little chubby, shouldn't be made to feel like they're disgusting or ugly just because they aren't thin by the media or society.

I know this is an old ass video, and I may sound overly emotional, but when he said he's not going to stop speaking up against Onision, and just knowing he _still_ kept to that promise, made me tear up. Onision was diagnosed with chronic depression, and he got over it without medication. He says "be happy" because you don't need medication to make you better. Your life choices can help you get over depression. And he helps people get over anorexia, bulimia, and self harming. I get he's not a perfect person, but neither is anyone else. So stop hating on someone who brings other people joy and helps them get through things. And people have a choice to watch his videos or not, so they have a choice to get offended by him or not.

Does he not realise that many parents don't have the financial means and education to make the right dietary choices for their children? Instead of targeting the parents ignorance about nutrition maybe he should get angry about the minimum wage, the education in schools, the help available for parents in the health care system and their access to nutritionists. I'm in Australia and about to see my nutritionist, it's going to cost me nothing, because I have access to free health care, and I've lost 20kgs so far. Why are obese people so upsetting to him that he feels the need to mock them, they're just trying to live a happy life, making fun of them does nothing, it makes them feel lesser than.
I agree with you. My husband and I have had this conversation. I sometimes think it's a conspiracy to try to kill the poor. Healthy foods, ie. fruit, vegetables etc. are so much more expensive than junk food. People that receive aid such as food stamps have to make that money last 1 month and essentially have to make 3 meals a day plus snacks. If they buy all healthy options, they would maybe get 2 weeks worth of food, yet they buy the not so healthy foods the they can get 1 month worth. If a family of 4 has $10 to go out to eat dinner with they may want to have salads and such, but they can go to McDonald's and feed everyone with the $10, they truly cannot get everyone a salad. Hamburger $0.79/Cheeseburger $0.89. Salad $5.89. If they want to really and truly want eradicate obesity in the US, lower the coat of healthy food. Offer a nutritionist to talk to while providing the food stamps.

I thought I was the only one walking around here glaring at the healthy food items for being expensive. When I first started I was putting some money aside so I could buy healthier items, but why I had to save prior to making the switch is beyond me! I’ve made a few changes to my diet already, but it still feels like it’s not good enough. I’m not ready to quit, but it is becoming a draining battle mentally. All I think about is food, because if I’m not fasting more than half my day, I’m obsessing over what’s going inside my body. I’m just glad I’m still doing that, because recently I fell off of exercising. I’m trying to get back into the mindset, but it’s so hard... Sorry for venting, but I just needed to put my thoughts into words or I might just lose it. I had to start eating meat (at least chicken and fish) after being vegetarian since I was 8 (I'm 13 now). I have a b12 deficiency, which can also cause anemia. So yeah, 10000% agree.
@@timothylarkin4916 iron supplements certainly can help, but not all iron is the same. Vegetables contain non-heme iron, meat contains heme iron. Heme iron is more easily absorbed by our bodies. The vast majority of iron supplements are vegetable-based, so non-heme. Though there are some heme iron supplements out there, they are animal-based.
You can get plenty of iron from plants. If you eat iron-rich plant foods in combination with certain other foods it is more readily absorbed by your body, look it up.

(i’m slowly recovering now, please don’t worry). he truly is disgusting. a waste of space to be clear. there’s no room on this earth for people like him. thank you so much for speaking out about him and helping people escape him, daniel. it means so much to me, and many other people i’m sure. ❤️

I was a fan until the fallout with Skye and then almost immediately with Shiloh. I only watched his joke vids and not onision speaks. I thought it was extremely messed up to follow people around the house with a camera during arguments after being told to be left alone. I think I left completely after the seizure and panic attack videos. That is not fun or cool or funny AT ALL. It was alarming af.

Thank you for saying this. I'm morbidly obese due having a very under active thyroid and have Sleep Apnea which makes it so hard to lose weight. I've had these health issues since I was a teenager, but was never diagnosed till I was in my late 20's. I came across the I'm so Fat video the other day. Usually I don't care what he says and ignore him, but this upset me :(

Yes. That is very true. But please do remember that people have genetic diabetes, which makes it harder to lose weight. So, if you are a person who hates candy and chocolate and stuff, that's fine go for it. But when people who eat to cope with things in their life and have genetic diabetes, I don't thinks its fair to make fun of people who do that (I'm not saying you are). Onision, wether joking or not, should know that joking about certain stuff isn't okay. this video isn't exactly new, but regardless i want to say that i agree with everything you said, especially the part about everyone having a different body. for example, due to some stomach issues i have (i have had 2 surgeries done), there are some foods that other people say are healthy but have different impacts entirely on my stomach. like typically brown rice is seen as healthier than white rice, but my nutritionist told me that white rice is actually much better for me personally

I am so glad you addressed this. It's absolutely disgusting how he treats this poor, naive, young woman. She is making the choice to be in this relationship, but she is 18 and he is almost 30. Due to his experience and actions, it is quite obvious he is purposely taking advantage of her and using her lack of experience to his advantage. I can understand the point about not feeding kids junk food regularly, but he saying it's abusive is kind of far, especially when he treats his wife the way that he does. Just seeing their interactions in their videos shows the way that he asks. It would be a shame if this poor young girl died a young death due to being underweight just because he demanded it of her. Why are we attacking the ones saying damaging things instead of teaching the "impressionable teen girls" to not be so influenced and be happy with themselves?
I think its more effective to attack the people spewing the body-negative shit. Teenagers are always going to be impressionable and it won't matter how many times we tell them to be happy with themselves and their bodies, because there will always be these nasty voices (ie the media, advertisements, ect) whispering in their ear, telling them that they aren't good enough. I know my parents always told me I was beautiful despite my jiggling belly, but I couldn't help hating myself. I felt disgusting, even when my friends told me I wasn't, even when my brothers insisted I had nothing to worry about. Remove the negative voices, show kids and teenagers that they are wrong, and then we can work on making them happy.

I was a teenager who was repulsed by her figure because it wasn't what our society or media deemed "beautiful". And even if I was really overweight, I shouldn't have hated myself. I shouldn't have found myself utterly revolting. Those feelings were the result of those negative voices I was talking about. People who are fat aren't only shamed for being fat, they're shamed for everything negative we attach to being fat: you're ugly, you're unloved, you're selfish, you're a glutton, you're gross. Teenagers should be encouraged to be healthy, yeah, but they shouldn't be shown an impossible image of what a beautiful human is and then be shamed or bullied for not meeting that expectation.

Sparkzz Darkßlood I understand what your saying and if everyone thought like you, we wouldn't have a problem. But the media needs to be more open to fat people. It just does. People are bullied, shamed and driven to suicide for their weight. People are denied jobs for their weight (and not jobs that require physical strength or killer looks, but jobs like stacking shelves or serving people food). I didn't go outside much as a teenager due to my insecurities, but my best friend did. Like me, she was a chubby girl, but unlike me she was perfectly happy in her body; but when she went out to the shops, she told me of people that would shout "whale" or "fatty" across the street. She told me of people who stared at her pointedly in a restaurant because she was eating what she wanted, rather then picking at salad - staring like they were observing a hippo in its natural environment. Though it happened to neither of us (thankfully), people have been attacked for their weight. One woman I know of was driven off the road while cycling and into the bushes, resulting in scabs and bloody hands, by a group of men in a car, laughing and mocking her for her weight.
And those celebrity images we see? Those models in the clothing ad? Photoshoped. All of them, without fail, are photoshoped. They've had their eyes enlarged and waists made thinner; they've been made whiter and had all their blemishes removed. That's what I meant when I say impossible expectations. Those images are literally everywhere. They are inescapable. Its those images that make fat people ashamed to existence, and those images that drive teenagers to starve themselves to death. Anorexia has the highest rate of deaths of any mental illness.
Also, not everyone is able to exercise everyday. Some people's weight is the result of circumstances. They work long hours and don't have the time to cook or workout. They have a disability and find it painful or difficult to exercise. Or, like you said, just have a shitty metabolism which means that they can exercise for weeks and lose hardly anything.
Fat people of varying sizes exist and should be acknowledged as people and not walking balls of blubber. Being underweight isn't alright, but it is definitely more acceptable then being overweight; with clothes on, people can't tell skinny people have a problem.
And again, I'm not saying being overweight it a state that should be encouraged. No-one wants to promote being incredibly unhealthy. But people who are overweight, or just a little chubby, shouldn't be made to feel like they're disgusting or ugly just because they aren't thin by the media or society.
