It's funny how Christians are like "PEOPLE SHOULD RESPECT US MORE" but people in other religions are like "hey... oh people got problems with us? Oh... Ok I don't care"

Quincy Asatruars, wiccans, buddhists just out the top of my mind. Now I don't know much of the other two except that conversion really isn't part of their plans.
But Asatruar does not believe in conversion in fact people from other religions are welcome at our religious celebrations and get married in our temple in Iceland (when its finished) and we encourage members to have their own social views.

The majority of religions are like that, it's not unique to Christianity. Hinduism for example is actually a peaceful religion, and can teach a lot about oneself. There's no brainwashing, just principles that the religion believes in, and those principles, for the absolute most part, are good.

I'm in Australia, my friend who's an atheist went to a catholic school and he was forced to pray 3 times a day. Oh, and a kid got suspended for saying: "When are we going to learn about evolution?"

I'm an atheist in Australia, and I'm in a catholic school and they said God created us, and I shouted bullshit and my class are all atheists except a few fundamentalist Christians, and the teacher agreed with me.
I'm in Australia, in an Anglican private school and I am an atheist. I got really lucky because my school is extremely excepting and I often ask the father at my school about issues to do with atheism and he has never once tried to disprove what I believe but calmly advocate for his side. So I suppose some religious people can be good.

And then I pointed out that people who don't believe in the bible won't listen to the bible and will want historical proof.

And I remember being taught of how much of a "stupid idea the big bang theory is" and my parents used to think that, by watching things like harry potter and the wizards of waverly place, I was sinning and I would start to believe witchcraft so I missed out on watching both of those just because of religion.
Oh and then there's Halloween where my parents would make me stay home until I was 11 but by that time, our school didn't let you wear your costume to school so there was no point.
And as it turns out, I actually have a high IQ for my age, so I'm not as stupid as my grandma thinks I am.

The high school I went to, if you asked a teacher if you could go pray, they were required to allow you, regardless of what you were praying to or for. Mad Lawliet Getting to the point where it's not just being an atheist in a christian family, there's also an ever growing problem of being a christian in a "christian" family who really don't believe you are a christian. It's a thing I ran into with my family and the youthgroup I went to while growing up, all you have to do is be a little bit different in your clothing style or a little different in your personality. Didn't turn me off completely on the Bible, but definitely turned me off on churches and the religious bull shit they tend to push. Also, there's apparently an expectation that if you're a christian girl you have to be nasty and conniving behind everyone's back but poison-sweet to their faces. Oh, and forget being friends with guys, because apparently, "good girls don't do those things," meaning they think that you're a whore if you have male friends rather than female ones. Definitely with MrRep on what he says about bigotry if nothing else, I was tormented more at church, even as a christian, than I ever was at school. My real friends accepted me as I was, as opposed to the 'christians' who liked to jump up on a soap box and tell me I was going to hell because I didn't act/dress/talk/think like them.

I am so glad. I'm 12 and I've been raised to be an Atheist. Even when I was young I just didn't get it. Like what was the point of religion if it just causes war, and violence. People in school at my age is so terrible. We got on the topic of religion at lunch once and some girl said "so you're jewish then?" I wanted to face palm so hard. Another girl said "if you don't believe in god you're going to hell." Thankfully my other peers respect my views.

I got into about five minutes of the video before I got offended. I've been a fan of MrRepzion for about a year now. He speaks a lot of truth and a agree with him 90 percent of the time. But I'm 16 and I'm a Christian. I'm not strictly religious but I believe in Christ. I just want to know why he is so anti- religion and biased. I understand they gay thing. But that's another stereotype about christians. We don't all hate gay people. I love and support gay people and have quite a few gay friends. Christian's who are against it embarrass me because we're not all crazy religious judgmental freaks. I respect every religion and even atheism. What you believe in is what you believe in and it deserves respect. I dont judge people off of their religion.

Same here. I live in Columbia, Moved here a few months ago from Smyrna and this is a small town, and I have counted over 18 churches just in the area I live. And I go to Junior High school and there are so any evangelical bigots out here... I literally see people walking down the hallways screaming in peoples faces saying "You're going to hell! You must repent! Blah blah" and when I try to tell staff about it they brush me off because they know I'm atheistic (They didn't know what before they elected me for student council president) and now since I openly admitted I was atheistic everybody doesn't even talk to me anymore... Man I fucking hate these people.

I live in England, back when I was in Primary School our Headteatcher Mrs Smith made us all pray in the morning. If we didnt pray we would be kept behind for 30 minutes after school. I didnt think anything of it at the time because I was 8. Looking back on it, it was so wrong.
In my school which is public people that are Christian make fun of me and harrass me for not believing and same goes for my other friends who aren't Christians so that just pissed me off

LareBear You also have to know the difference between a credible source and a non-credible source. This is why the bible is in the fictional section at the library. It's just like any other book that people read for pleasure and entertainment.
With all the money that religion gets you would think that there would be a new bible that conforms to how people think today. The first testament wasn't good enough and as a result the new testament was written. I think it's time for a third revision.
You know what, I'm glad you said what you said about a parent's responsibility to be neutral with their children on the subject of religion. Cause my parents were chill about it when I was growing up. They had me go to Sunday church with them only one time. Aside from that, I've only been to a church three other times. One when I was like 5 years old that I barely remember, one for a class field trip so we could learn about the regional culture, and the other for a funeral.
Another family member did try to indoctrinate me with the fear of hell, and that single half hour talk was enough to make me religious for a few years until the beliefs slowly faded away as I realized they were ridiculous and baseless.
And I was religious. I didn't go to church or kingdom hall, or take any enjoyment out of reading the bible, but I prayed for my family's well-being every night before bed and even debated my own brother, who I guess was either atheist or agnostic (not sure of his beliefs now), which ended in me openly acknowledging how closed-minded I was, which both impressed and disturbed my brother.
The point is, I (for the most part) was allowed to choose my own beliefs. And I appreciate and value that freedom.
The only thing that had me religious when i was little was the fear of hell. That is probably the only reason a lot of kids turn christian
I have had similar experiences. My parents went to a Unitarian Church, which is basically a group of tolerant believers from all kinds of religions that teaches respect for human beings and respect for life. Other than that, believe whatever you want!

If I had a child (definitely not) I would raise them to be as open minded as possible, I will expose them to the bible and gay marriage and many other things and I will let them make their own life choices, whether it be exploring christianity or being an atheist, but yeah... idk

I'm 16. For 15 years I lived in anger and fear. Anger towards my mom because she never baptized me and never took me to church and fear that I would soon burn in hell. All of my friends were Christian, went to church, and talk about god and their belifes with eachother. I just want to thank you for making your videos. In a way you saved me because you point of view is unheard of where I live. You videos changed me in the best way possible and I thank you for that.
I went to a Christian school where a speaker would read from the bible almost every day and near holidays we would sing in church
It's funny because even with all of this from the age of 4 most of my friends who also went to that school are atheists I guess if your forced to listen to around 200 kids sing out of tune about god for 10 minuets a day from a young age you eventually start to think "if there is a god I'm gonna kill it!"

I hate when people talk about the pledge as proving you love America. The pledge is about the least American and least Enlightened thing on the planet. It calls on you to not question the government or the country in any way. It goes against the Social Contract by putting the power in the hands of the government and not the people. The social contract says that the people have the power to install a new government if it breaks the contract. The pledge does the exact opposite, it forbids changing the government you disagree with.
Not to mention, what the hell has our government done to EARN that, especially as of late?
My parents had to say pledges during communist Yugoslavia. Is this what USA is turning into? A country where the government has absolute power over it's citizens? I'm already extremely reluctant to visit the states, but if this attitude continues, I'm going to avoid it completely. It'll turn into the same type of country Russia is currently.

I'm 13, and have been raised in a non religious household. I became atheist at 12, and I hate it when all people talk about is thank God. We have a hero project and your hero has to have some personal conextion to you. I want to put the people who are writing about God or Jesus in a mental hospital l, because they claim they've met either of them.

I'm an atheist and I have been since 4th grade. I go to a private Christian school, and I've managed to keep my atheism a secret. I have three Christian friends, and we all do things that a lot of Christians would stop being your friend for doing or something like that. We cuss and don't take part in the chapel service at the beginning of each day. But I still won't tell them I'm an atheist because they still do identify as Christians, and just about a month ago one of them brought up that it says in the bible that if someone leaves the church you're supposed to stop talking to them or something like that. So I don't want to say I'm an atheist and them have no friends for it. It does get pretty hard to keep my mouth shut when people are saying bigoted or homophobic things though.

At catholic school there were bullies especially in the seniors on the football team. I would beat the shit out of them, and watch them limping off. Almost everybody had knives, including me, but I never used it, my favorite weapon was A BOOK. Have you ever heard the pen is mightier than the sword. Well, a hard back book on a leather strap trumps a small knife. Kicking people in the nuts, or the inside of the knee or ankle discourages them.
We just have a breakfast club every thursday. Im an atheist and i went (not realizing it was for christians) and had fun (we just mess around with friends until the end)get to the end and they ask us to pray. So while everyone else was praying, I sat there like a dumb fuck watching everyone else. Never went back.
I'm in a public school and your allowed to wear religious clothes we still say under god in the pledge and are allowed to pray at lunch or read the Bible as long as we don't interrupt class time with it or force people to hear our religious views heck I'm pretty sure theirs a Christian club. The only thing we don't have is Christianity being forced in main classes which I think is a good thing coming to god should be a. choice and what would the prayers matter if the person doesn't believe in them and is just being forced to pray?

At graduation in my school a valedictorian or a graduate who is giving a speech can lead a prayer how ever all they say is.. "I want to start speech off with a prayer. If you do not believe in that just please be respectful and stay quiet until I am done..." And everyone mostly do. And then they will continue with their speech. I live in a small town filled with mostly of the Mormon faith and a few Christians and even fewer Catholics... Most of everyone is respectful of each other and do not stuff their religions down each other's throats
