I have a Honda Accord 2007 clocked 4,60,000 kms and still running smooth. I only had to change tyres, brakes pads, usuall wear and tear or else the engine is still intact. Honda builds all their products with refinement and durability.
I'm the owner of a 2011 model CBR 250R. I have never felt this much riding comfort, reliability, and refinement on any other bikes (in this segment). 152 kmph is the easiest speed on this bike I'd say. It can hit 160+ on a straight highway if the tyre and engine oil are good. The NISSIN brakes on the abs version are exceptional. You need to learn engine braking to stop a KTM or Dom at high speeds...but you can easily stop the 250r only with the front brakes. I've done a few mods on my bike. Those are: 1. DNA Performance Air filters (imported from UK) 2. Indicator implanted side mirrors 3. Flush mount side indicators and LED back indicators 4. XFlash hazard system Whenever you swap a stock part with an aftermarket part, you will definitely feel a drop in the quality. My aftermarket side mirrors are vibrating a bit at high speeds. The stock mirrors are not good looking, but the best when it comes to the practicality. You can't find an abs version in good condition in Kerala below 1 lack. If you have good contacts and knowledge, you can get it for 70-90k from Bangalore. If you are looking for a used bike for long rides, this one is worth buying. As I said, my bike is 11 years old now. Still no engine issues and no power drop. I trust my bike more than anything in the world 😂😂 your girlfriend may cheat you...but 250r won't! That's my guarantee.

@@mrwho.7163 I didn't say that KTM's brakes are bad. Those are good. But we need to manage with engine braking if we are at high speeds, which is not an easy task for a beginner. I felt the CBR's brakes are more friendly, you don't have to be a pro-rider to stop the bike easily even if you're at 150 kmph. Just the brake levers are enough! That's what I meant. I do admit that CBR's low-end torque is pathetic. But I'm sure that the owners like me are used to it and knows how to manage it. High ranges are not an issue if you are used to the long gear ratios. It's just a matter of compromising the initial pull. I've been to Idukki, Wayanad, Yercaud, Kodaikanal with this bike. I didn't face any severe issues or lack of power there. The issue is when you're stuck in a traffic or city. You will feel like you're riding a 150cc commuter bike. (Edit: I'm noone to say that Strell's experience is sketchy. I'm talking about my experience. I've no hate towards any other brands. And my favorite single cylinder sports bike is RC 390 (BS-III)
@@josherjoyv5369 Crazy question bro. I don't know if 2011-13 models have any issues with the fuel meter. If I fill the tank, there will be a total of 6 bars...the 6th bar and the first bar are lasting longer. Even if the bar is blinking, I can see a lot of fuel inside the tank if I open the lid. I don't know if this is my bike's issue or common. On my bike, if you have one bar without blinking, you can cover more than 100 kms for sure. I've tested it 😂
I bought a used 2016 abs tri color model back n Bangalore, now with my brother back n Irinjalakuda. Clocked around 24k now, one of the best decision in my life. Bullet proof engine and build quality. It’s really worth to keep it.
I did not understood a single alphabet letter also from this video, but i watched while video just because I'm a honest owner of this legendary sports tourer bike HONDA CBR250R. I'm just damn fond of this beast even in mid 2022. I own this bike for 10 years now. But still I choose it over all advanced bikes available in market. No one gives me that satisfaction like Cbr250r. On strell's videos means top notch to watch with full of info. Loved this video. I hope to get to see in english.
I bought it on 2018 even that time it was still a good option even though there were better bikes. But nothing matched my requirements 1. Reliability 2. Pillion comfort 3. Good Mileage 4. (Highway around 55) കമ്മ്യൂറ്റർ ബൈക്ക് ആയും ലോങ്ങ് റൈഡ് നും ബെസ്റ്റ് 💯 നല്ല refinement, Riding comfort. എന്റെ കയ്യിന്നു ഒരു മൂന്നു നാലു വട്ടം വീണിട്ടുണ്ട് സ്റ്റാൻഡിൽ നിന്ന്.. കിറ്റിനു ഒന്നും ഒരു കേടും ഇല്ല പക്കാ ഉരുക്ക് ആണ് ഉരുക്ക് 😂😂. പാർട്സ് ന്റെ avaibilitity കുറവ് എന്നൊന്നും ഇല്ല ഷോറൂം ഇൽ ഓർഡർ ചെയ്യണം എന്നെ ഉള്ളു. കിട്ടാൻഡ് ഒന്നും ഇല്ല. Im using Motul 10w40 engine oil its best for this bike. Front tyre 100/80-17-MRF Rear tyre 140/70-17-mrf masseter (130 comes as stock) ബ്രേക്കിങ് കുഴപ്പമില്ല. അത്രേ ഉള്ളു. യാതൊരു മോഡിഫിക്കേഷൻനും ഞാൻ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. സ്റ്റോക്ക് ആയിത്തന്നെ യൂസ് ചെയ്യാൻ ആണ് എനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ട്ടം. ഒരു സാധാരണ 150cc വണ്ടി പോലെ ഉപയോഗിക്കാം വേണമെങ്കി പറപ്പിച് ഓടിക്കാം.. Always been my dream bike since i joined Engineering in 2011 when it was launched. At least 3 guys in our college had CBR. But i could not convince my parents to get me one. Thus settled for a passion pro. Passion pro is still with me at home for college nostalgia purpose 😜. Fast forward to 2020 i am working in Pune, i started searching CBR 250 R ABS in olx. After meeting multiple sellers in 1 year of search, i got a less ridden CBR 250 R ABS 2015 model. Last week i completed 1 year ownership of CBR. Loving this bike everyday when i ride it to office and weekend trips around Pune❤
@@backtotheroots547 The waiting period is on the higher side, if the parts are not ready stock in service centre. But most of the consumables like brake pads, clutch cable etc are readily available, at least in Pune.

7:40 RR310 is a complete low end Two-wheeler... Which doesn't need to have a pillion seat... It's a track/racing oriented bike.... just for Indian youngster where ain't much tracks and racing compared to the West....they added an extra seat purpose to accomodate one more person.

I owned a RS200 for 5 years (BS4). Its not comparable to cbr in refinement levels. But you can say RS200 is a mini cbr in many levels. It can be also called a sports tourer. BS4 RS200 can do 155 top and stock cbr can do 160plus.comfortable highway speed of RS200 is 120 and for CBR its 130. I have done many rides with RS200 with and without pillion. The bike is really capable.
@@zeojod thats unusual. Even if ridden very hard and aggressive, i used to get 28-29kmpl. Please visit bajaj showroom and complaint. They might provide a solutn. And please avoid small local garages or inexperienced rural bajaj service centers. I only used to give in ekm main service centers
I spent almost 50k on reviving this bike this year. When people ask me why did you spend that much, Should have just sold it. People wont understand that this bike is a Legend and a emotion. And being my first bike, it has a special place in my life.
Me still using a Hero Honda Karizma R which has aged 12years & clocked 1.1lakh kms with an aircooled single cylinder engine which sill has the same refinement when i bought!
I always wanted to get CBR 250, but when I finally had the financials they stopped the production. Now I own Dominar. Still every now and then I see OLX for used CBR 250 and find all bikes in worn out condition or run more than 60k kms. Yet after seeing this review again my mind is going back to get them. Thank you for the wonderful video. And spares issue will stop bike enthusiasts from getting used CBR. Hope Honda listen s and launches CBR 300R. But i highly doubt it.
One of the Most Reliable engine and breaking system, even it is old, CBR is beast always..I am using CBR 250 and I never got this much confident on any other bikes @strell thank you for all your clear reviews as usual..
For SF 250 I've got around 46 km/l (tank to tank method) during mixed riding and traffic conditions at below 60 km/h speeds (below 5000rpm on all gears). Plenty of torque on at all rpm's and through all 6 gears, thus, no need to shift down repeatedly, thereby, effortless riding/cruising.

And that's when suzuki launched GIXXER SF250. I was a little skeptical at first. But after the test ride I decided to buy one and got one among the ones they launched in the beginning. To be honest I am using it for 3 years now. I love my bike, it may not be as good as a CBR, but SF250 is good with own characters. But I feel that it is very underrated in the market. But I am a proud owner of a SUZUKI SF250, but deep inside I always feel a little sad that I couldn't get a CBR250.

Im cbr 250 2011 version owner .. Still its giving a mileage of 36-41. With fresh engine feel without any vibration, super smooth and comfort. Achieving 150km/hr speed on 5th gear(max). Tried 161 on 6 th.. it can still touch 170s if good road and bike condition

It's reliable and refined as hell , but the parts are expensive , brake pads are five times more expensive compared to the bikes in the segment. The key set cost is 10 to 13 thousand rupees which is just insane . And my friends had this issue. But yes the best built bike I have ever driven under 300cc segment , no vibrations , but boring since you don't feel like the bike is on under 5000 rpms.

I did not understood a single alphabet letter also from this video, but i watched while video just because I'm a honest owner of this legendary sports tourer bike HONDA CBR250R. I'm just damn fond of this beast even in mid 2022. I own this bike for 10 years now. But still I choose it over all advanced bikes available in market. No one gives me that satisfaction like Cbr250r. Always been my dream bike since i joined Engineering in 2011 when it was launched. At least 3 guys in our college had CBR. But i could not convince my parents to get me one. Thus settled for a passion pro. Passion pro is still with me at home for college nostalgia purpose 😜. Fast forward to 2020 i am working in Pune, i started searching CBR 250 R ABS in olx. After meeting multiple sellers in 1 year of search, i got a less ridden CBR 250 R ABS 2015 model. Last week i completed 1 year ownership of CBR. Loving this bike everyday when i ride it to office and weekend trips around Pune❤

I owned a RS200 for 5 years (BS4). Its not comparable to cbr in refinement levels. But you can say RS200 is a mini cbr in many levels. It can be also called a sports tourer. BS4 RS200 can do 155 top and stock cbr can do 160plus.comfortable highway speed of RS200 is 120 and for CBR its 130. I have done many rides with RS200 with and without pillion. The bike is really capable.

actually i was just discussing about getting a used first gen hornet 160r and admiring the bike.
I always wanted to get CBR 250, but when I finally had the financials they stopped the production. Now I own Dominar. Still every now and then I see OLX for used CBR 250 and find all bikes in worn out condition or run more than 60k kms. Yet after seeing this review again my mind is going back to get them. Thank you for the wonderful video. And spares issue will stop bike enthusiasts from getting used CBR. Hope Honda listen s and launches CBR 300R. But i highly doubt it.

For SF 250 I've got around 46 km/l (tank to tank method) during mixed riding and traffic conditions at below 60 km/h speeds (below 5000rpm on all gears).
Plenty of torque on at all rpm's and through all 6 gears, thus, no need to shift down repeatedly, thereby, effortless riding/cruising.

3 years back when I decided to buy a bike my first choice was CBR 250. But decided not to buy this when I came to know they are planning to stop its production. And that's when suzuki launched GIXXER SF250. I was a little skeptical at first. But after the test ride I decided to buy one and got one among the ones they launched in the beginning. To be honest I am using it for 3 years now. I love my bike, it may not be as good as a CBR, but SF250 is good with own characters. But I feel that it is very underrated in the market. But I am a proud owner of a SUZUKI SF250, but deep inside I always feel a little sad that I couldn't get a CBR250.

It's reliable and refined as hell , but the parts are expensive , brake pads are five times more expensive compared to the bikes in the segment. The key set cost is 10 to 13 thousand rupees which is just insane . And my friends had this issue. But yes the best built bike I have ever driven under 300cc segment , no vibrations , but boring since you don't feel like the bike is on under 5000 rpms.
