Love your work... my first live carving event i looked up and had about 75 people standing there.. it made me feel good and nervous at the same time..lol
Congratulations TayMarie for another milestone! Woohoo! Amazing!!! 🥰
🤗🤗🤗
I love that bear! 🐻 ❤ The bear butt showing through the log is such a creative aspect that separates you from others, makes your already superb pieces unique! (Love the "puppins")😊
Awww thank you! I’m sure I’m not the first to do it but it just adds so much and only takes an extra minute or two to do! And yes, miss Puppins is my world 🫶🏼
I know again that I'm coming in late watching another one of your videos but you are amazing...
I love all your work...
I love that grizzly bear head that was on the table...
Looks gorgeous...best...😊
That grizzly bear head is still available, it’s going in my house soon if it doesn’t sell 😂
Good for you TayMarie, look forward to your next carving show
Me too! It was a lot more fun then I was expecting, it helps when you love your job 😂🫶🏼
Sounds like you had a lots of fun and a lot of fans came out to see you nice your carving are awesome and they were a great day for you great video thanks for sharing it with us sharing your experiences with us have a wonderful day
Of course, it will be fun to look back on this video in a few years and see how things have changed!
Nice!! Thanks for sharing your talent with us. Glad to see tour videos getting more traction!
Thank you ☺️
Awsome job. I live in Pennsylvania. Your right lot to bring and to set up especially if u have no help. But once u get carving your in the zone or like to say it's my happy place.
100%! Luckily I had my boyfriend and good friend's support for this first event, would have been hard to do it without them!
Good Job TayMarie happy to see you still got your smile better and better thanks for sharing
Always! Life’s to short, always smile when you have the opportunity 🫶🏼
My wife and I used to go to craft faires and flea markets and sold Healthy dog treats. After the first couple of shows we had it down. We created a checklist for inventory and another for cash and personal items, ie; lunch and beverages. And we created a mailing list by offering people a discount on their first purchase. We also sold pet shaped chocolate lollipops, which always sold out and they covered the cost of our space for the show. So even on slow days we still made money. If I mentioned anything you didn't think of before, glad I could help. Good luck and I'm looking forward to seeing you at some future event here in Maine.
I will definitely create a nice check list to use and add to it as I find stuff that would have been helpful! Just like you said, in a few years I’ll have it down! Thank you so much!
So fun to watch and hear about your event! I love that you push yourself into new experiences and just learn along the way. I was wondering how you weighted your tent,... as I couldn't see anything,...lol. Yeah, I helped out at a fair once, and even with weights, the wind nearly took out half of the booths,..it was crazy! Loved seeing all your audience so entranced watching you work, especially the kids.😊
So, now I have a chainsaw, and the PPE I need. I'll be ordering a jawhorse soon. I might get my first chainsaw lessons this weekend! Super excited about it!😁🎉
Woohoo! Very exciting!
I only had the tent staked with the small stakes it came with, got really lucky 😂 I’ll have it weighed down in the future, I won’t push my luck again!
Glad you took on a show, there is no doubt that your talent is darn good and as much as you seem to like carving it will improve and that’s the part that I can’t imagine that makes me want to watch and see. It’s got to be a big job going to shows but when you love something sacrificing will happen at times. I hope a logger can provide wood for you and at least make that aspect easier.
The shows down in PA will provided all the logs, thank goodness! Usually competitions provide the wood but small fairs, demos, and shows you as the carver have to provide everything. It’s almost like you are an entrainment vendor haha!
Cutie vlog TayMarie! You’ve set the bar high for videos you make from your Pennsylvania shows in April. Sweet video Tay! 🙌🏻🫶🏻
I’ll probably have to make 2 videos, one for each competition! I CANT wait!
@@TayMarie23 WooHoo!
Do you have a video of how you got started? Did you start off by carving walking sticks or spoons?
What got you into carving
I filmed my 5th ever carving, it's the first carving video I ever posted of a little sitting bear! I honestly just stumbled into chainsaw carving as a happy accident haha!
Great video and good job. The next time you won't be so nervous. Cute puppy 🐶. Take care and have a blessed and safe week
Thank you! Sometimes the nerves are good, they pump you up!
There’s nothing like learning in person. Good for you great job
Thank you! It was a good trial run for the bigger shows I have coming up!
Looks like you did a great job. Great video!!
Thank you! :)
You are doing a great job carving. I am south of one of the competitions. I am planning to go. Maybe I will see you there
If you go make sure to say hi 😁
How's she goin'? Congrats on your first carving demo. I sure looked like your booth was popular and with skills like you have, carving in front of propel will come easier ever time I bet!! Sounds like you learned a lot too. That's gotta be good right!! The bear looked great and the tree was awesome. Take 'er easy!!
Aww thanks for stopping back by the channel! It was fun and the kiddos there loved it which made it all worth it!
Good job!
Good on your,,, I have taught several carving class,,,, I tried to remember to chill, the first time talking in front of people....
I was happy it wasn’t a huge event, gave me time to get a feel for everything! My mind definitely went totally blank for a solid 60 seconds and I was like “how do I carve again” lol! Then I just took a deep breath and gave it my all :)
Awesome job!!
👍👍👍
Great job!
