Thanks Gareth, exactly the video I have been looking for - an extended hands on demonstration . I have read reviewers and comment writers complaining about performance so was interested to see the tablet actually being used. I am simply happy to see a tablet with a full desktop browser, even if it can't match my faster full chromebook pixel.

I am glad we now have another choice besides Samsung stylus tablet.

A good look at the tablet. How's the Android app integration? If it's good, I think it would be preferred over an Android tablet as you'd be getting the full desktop browser experience instead of mobile chrome.

Yeah, it's impressive. Has its drawbacks and things can feel a little cramped - I'm used to ChromeOS on an 11" screen, this is smaller again. Had a good weekend with it and am interested to see how it lasts in the working week.

I find that Chromebook and Android with the addition of the Google Playstore on Chromebooks is very similar if not identical, Could Chrome OS and Android be merging into basically the same thing in your opinion?

They work very well together but there are a few notable links to be ironed out. I think Google will one day discontinue Android and Chrome and take all the best bits to put into Fuschia, their next Operating System.

Fast forward to when I'm writing this comment and it's been announced that Android pi is being integrated with Chrome OS, Chromebooks are becoming very aggressive against windows and Mac. And I love it

Thanks for the useful review. Did you notice whether it had the Crostini Linux support ?

Do these need virus protection? How often do they update.
