I can't believe the day is finally here - I am officially a labor and delivery nurse (on orientation)! L&D is something I've wanted since started nursing school and I am so excited to get into it!

Hello!! My name is Margaret Armen. I am twenty-something and I live in the very fun (definitely underrated) Pittsburgh, PA! I left my job in advertising to go back to school for nursing. I just graduated from my accelerated BSN program!! Next stop, labor and delivery! I love bingeing a good TV show, listening to a murder podcast, and snuggling my little pup, Olive. xx

You’re living my dream! It’s so encouraging to know you went straight into this work after an accelerated program. I’m waiting to see if ive been accepted to an ABSN program after doing all my prerequisites and I’m a full time PCT on a medsurge floor. I really want to be a L&D nurse aftaer school! Not eating shouldn’t be a reality, all of the nurses on my labor and delivery floor get lunch, everyday.
I completely agree! I'm so glad you all get a lunch, it's so important to have breaks and it should be how it is for everyone!
