I fixed the leak in my trunk (I think)

  • Caution!. Once a lexus hits 20 years old it will start needing alot of work, including unexpected/uncommon issues and or expensive parts.

    Funny how I saw this vid right after I decided to tackle my leak. It was leaking in 2 places on the gasket and (what I'm hoping) the gap where the plastic bumper meets the metal of the trunk. Letting the gasket adhesive dry and going to test it tomorrow. That upper guard/water channel is a PITA to get back on as well.

      @@ClassicJunk88 so I was able to fix the leaks coming from the top two corners where it looks like the metal was welded together, but it still leaks at the bottom near the latch.

      @@danroden6183 So, any news ? I'm facing the same problem, I don't have a sunroof btw so it can't be the sunroof tubes.

    It’s the tubes that come from the sunroof.

      I don't have a sunroof but I have the same problem lol Any ideas ?
