Well, he is protecting everyone, the Capitan needed to be informed about the sexual arrasment, Kate needed to tell him, just like when they took off the boat people for using what they thought it was drugs, that alone tells you how poorly engaged everyone is in their actual work and more about what the show, then they come and pretend to be following what the standard in the industry says. I am just generally disappointed bad behaviors get excused on "seniority", "friendships" and "bad guests".

Kate and Rhylee are two of the "ugliest" people I've seen on TV in a long time and should be held accountable for their actions, just like the men. They're both a bunch of narcissistic, immature losers that need to do some serious self-reflection. They're problems/issues are systemic and have spanned multiple seasons/crews. Most parents would be mortified if their daughters grew up and inherited their personalities and characteristics.

I know it's a TV show but do they really expect us to believe they don't hire people with extensive serving/bar tending skills to be a stewardess on a mega yacht? Simone didn't even know how to make iced coffee.
Watching Simone all season and then listening to her look and sound ridiculous at the reunion, is perhaps why she can't good digs on these mega ships. It could be race, yes, however, I wouldn't hire her for anything but laundry. She brags about all this education she possesses, yet can't put a damn sentence together if it killed her. I honestly can't watch the reunion when she speaks, she rambles on about shit you can't understand because talks to fast. This season is one DVR event I plan to delete, unlike the rest; which I occasionally re-watch and its bc of the guys treatment of Rylee and Simone...Glad they're all gone for good!!

Brian took him at his word and thought Courtney had been talking shit, when really Kevin was just blowing it way out of proportion and causing unnecessary drama.
After seeing the show, you’d think Brian would’ve realized that Kevin had exaggerated and Courtney hadn’t done anything wrong… but apparently he’s too stubborn to see that and apologize.

I think you’re right. He’s not a bad guy deep down but he has low emotional intelligence. He talked about how he comes from a very broken home, so he probably had extremely poor modeling as a child and this clearly has really stunted his ability to function in relationships.

I think it's a shame that the ongoing issues were not brought to Captain Lee's attention. The toxicity was left to fester all season. The Captain should be able to rely on his Bosun and Chief Stew to relay the issues as they arise before things go as far as they did. I hope everyone from this season has been able to move on from this and survive the fallout in the aftermath of it all. No one is above reproach- and if an apology is forthcoming the gracious thing to do is accept it.

For someone who claimed she never knew Brian, never got to know him, does not invest in someone without knowing them first Courtney sure kept inviting Brian to her bunk, or the backseat, and despite all the tears she sure went after him that last episode and made a fool of herself. She wanted her post filming relationship, did not happen so for a full year after this wrapped 3/27/19 she stayed pissed off and got more pissed off when it hit television. She walked off that boat, hugging Brian, inviting him to her hotel for lunch, wanting a relationship, he picked the guys, then Courtney went to work with Ashton for a month after filming. Courtney always picked guys over girls. When she did not get her relationship she went right back to things during filming like the last episode never happened.
I am so proud of Andy for addressing Kate's ridiculous behavior. Captain Lee believes Kate can do no wrong and she manipulates him to the point that Capt Lee just takes her word on all subjects right or wrong. They went on a tour together or smear campaign to trash the crew all over the media and Kate continued to embellish her stories about the guys. I was so disgusted with her and her sidekick Lee. I'm really done with this show until they replace the chief stew.

Yes, the Yachting industry is a white man's domain and unlike golf and jumping out of planes, if you want to work among this group, you have to either bring your A game or stay home. Brian never liked one post on Courtney IG feed, but she kept visiting his page and even writing there on 5/23/19 when he posted an image of his daughter. On 3/26/19 day after getting off Valor Courtney checked into her hotel for what she wrote was a husband-less honeymoon but no Brian pics/likes. 3/27/19 she left Thailand grumpy but 3/28/19 Brian had 10 hour layer was a McDonalds, she she commented on his time line, he liked that. 3/30/19 she liked his post when he got home. Go look at Brian's barely used IG. On 3/25/19 likely before Full Moon Party, Brian was doing a selfie on a rooftop, Courtney took another shot at his selfies, we all know what happened that final night.

I think Ashton failed to show leadership skills very often and his behavior when drinking was clearly not a good one but so was kate, the captain ( i do not care attitude), the chef was rude to guest, regardless of their approach about his food. What Kate did not to let him know about the main guest going to sleep and let him in the dark with the cake... Just tells you about how hypocritical the whole thing is...if I do it is has a reason, if someone else does it they are horrible.
No, you are not the only one. I did not see it as a Boys vs. Girls issue, nor as an interior vs. deck crew issue. Having worked in a similar environment (think "Dirty Dancing"), being cooped up with a bunch of kids, 19-24 yrs, from all over the world, these dynamics just happen over the course of 6-8 weeks (and thank goodness there was no reality tv back then!). Everyone buddies up, everyone hooks up, everyone has their "enemy"--same story every season. And I lived thru 6 of them. There was always a Ryhlee, and an Ashton (and ok, most would say I was probably the Kate--but I was 20, not 35!). It just makes for great TV bc you see the best and the worst of people, regardless if they are men or woman. Oh, and btw, I ended up marrying a guest, lol! And my asst. (at the time) and I started a company together 20 years ago. And we are all doing fine! Just as they all will as well. We are not the only ones who think the boys were not awful. They were just human!

Well, he is protecting everyone, the Capitan needed to be informed about the sexual arrasment, Kate needed to tell him, just like when they took off the boat people for using what they thought it was drugs, that alone tells you how poorly engaged everyone is in their actual work and more about what the show, then they come and pretend to be following what the standard in the industry says. I am just generally disappointed bad behaviors get excused on "seniority", "friendships" and "bad guests".
He's protecting everybody, as well as he should. The real world is slightly more complicated than black vs white or boys vs girls. Kate and Rhylee are two of the "ugliest" people I've seen on TV in a long time and should be held accountable for their actions, just like the men. They're both a bunch of narcissistic, immature losers that need to do some serious self-reflection. They're problems/issues are systemic and have spanned multiple seasons/crews. Most parents would be mortified if their daughters grew up and inherited their personalities and characteristics.

I think it's a shame that the ongoing issues were not brought to Captain Lee's attention. The toxicity was left to fester all season. The Captain should be able to rely on his Bosun and Chief Stew to relay the issues as they arise before things go as far as they did. I hope everyone from this season has been able to move on from this and survive the fallout in the aftermath of it all. No one is above reproach- and if an apology is forthcoming the gracious thing to do is accept it.

On 3/26/19 day after getting off Valor Courtney checked into her hotel for what she wrote was a husband-less honeymoon but no Brian pics/likes. 3/27/19 she left Thailand grumpy but 3/28/19 Brian had 10 hour layer was a McDonalds, she she commented on his time line, he liked that. 3/30/19 she liked his post when he got home. Go look at Brian's barely used IG. On 3/25/19 likely before Full Moon Party, Brian was doing a selfie on a rooftop, Courtney took another shot at his selfies, we all know what happened that final night.

I think Ashton failed to show leadership skills very often and his behavior when drinking was clearly not a good one but so was kate, the captain ( i do not care attitude), the chef was rude to guest, regardless of their approach about his food. What Kate did not to let him know about the main guest going to sleep and let him in the dark with the cake... Just tells you about how hypocritical the whole thing is...if I do it is has a reason, if someone else does it they are horrible.
No, you are not the only one. I did not see it as a Boys vs. Girls issue, nor as an interior vs. deck crew issue. Having worked in a similar environment (think "Dirty Dancing"), being cooped up with a bunch of kids, 19-24 yrs, from all over the world, these dynamics just happen over the course of 6-8 weeks (and thank goodness there was no reality tv back then!). Everyone buddies up, everyone hooks up, everyone has their "enemy"--same story every season. And I lived thru 6 of them. There was always a Ryhlee, and an Ashton (and ok, most would say I was probably the Kate--but I was 20, not 35!). It just makes for great TV bc you see the best and the worst of people, regardless if they are men or woman. Oh, and btw, I ended up marrying a guest, lol! And my asst. (at the time) and I started a company together 20 years ago. And we are all doing fine! Just as they all will as well. We are not the only ones who think the boys were not awful.
