    I learned that in Norway the government was more critical of allowing super chargers because the take more power from the grid. Having swap stations that can actually support the grid is a win win situation. Not only that but as the narrator saids NIO can actually make money 💰. Europe is now starting to figure out 🤔 , swap stations are a huge benefit to the power grid.

      Well.. living in Norway, and must admit I haven't read that article you refer too.. but I know they have had massive issues with local small technocrats and bureaucrats loving to be small kings and making issues out of no real issues, but that's the same for everybody here in Norway, so many rules and tons of small kings who worship their kinghood, as being in charge of making sure they get obeyed.. even if it kills of good sensible projects.. 😊 so Nio haven't had the easiest time getting swap stations up and running here..

      Two things, it wasn’t an article I read. I view a TH-camr named Marcel, he does a lot of videos on NIO. He had reported that Tesla is having a hard time getting Superchargers approved because of the power usage. I also viewed a video where it was stated that NiO is having a hard time getting the permits approved for the swap stations because in Germany they see them as buildings and not charging stations. They say it is taking 16 months to get a permit.😞. In China permits are approved much quicker.

    In China they embrace innovation and development with both hands.
    In Europe it's "Have you got a license to apply for the planning for the building regs application?" 😅

    Indeed, NIO’s Battery Swap Plan provides a unique planform for buffering the electric power.😁💯

    It’s very simple, it’s basic economics. Power or charge the batteries in the swap station say at night when the electricity cost less because of the less demand on the grid. Then, sell the electricity back to the grid when demand is high say during peak hours of the grid. Chaching, that’s the sound of the cash register making money.💰. A dual purpose of the swap station, supporting the power grid and swapping batteries in NIO vehicles. Now imagine once you have thousands of swap stations throughout Europe, Chaching,Chaching.💰💰💰💰😎

    Germany is still trying to figure out whether the internet is a thing… 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Very good feature. At least in Germany other companies are also installing HPC with batteries attached. Power from PSS could also be used for attached charging piles. Hope we‘ll see more of this in Europe.

    I already know of the benefits of battery swapping for the EV owner, & for the grid & the energy consumption savings will be the differentiater in helping solidify the concept IMHO.. The 5 million Euro savings is an eye opener.. 😳

    Can Ample Nio battery swap stations succeed in China Europe & North America with Nio ?That work with any branded ev car

    Very interesting they hardly promote these in local chinese market why ?? It so confusing how they operate some ok to swarp other are not ??

    Can Ample’s battery swap stations succeed in Europe? with BYD’S or NIO’s sodium’s ground breaking battery technology that work with any ev car

    imo battery swap works best @ cities with large apartment population where there are no charging available in apartment carparks....

    Can Nio’s battery swap stations succeed in North America, the USA and Canada ?

    • @madev_channel
      @madev_channel  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a long shot. It will be more difficult for sure. If they can sell their cars to America in the first place, and that's a big IF.

    I doubt they have the economic of scale to sustain that in europe.

    NIO needs to AWARD PRIZES to random people that SWAP at NIO Swap STATION, Buy a NIO drink at a NIO house, Or Charge at a NIO Charge Station...WORLDWIDE....! Start Pushing that NARRATIVE and then one day MAKE the PRIZE an NIO ET5. That will DRIVE people to NIO...The Competition is on the verge of BANKRUPTCY.....get people thinking NIO

    It’s not working in EU. Because in EU nio is only one offering that.

    Ok Ok...It was initial difficult to understand the point of this video but I listened to it again and understood what you were saying... ELECTRICITY TRADING and if the Netherlands had more Swap stations NIO could make more money because electricity cost was ZERO on some days but you still got paid for the battery swap. Great video but NIO needs to have NATIVE English speaking presenters. I would not have understood what you were trying to get a across if I were NOT an Englsih speaking native!

    this is a STUPID idea... I literally don't understand why people don't just build hydrogen stations... few minutes to fill up, waste is pure water, and it's abundant!!

    • @LovesHighGround
      @LovesHighGround ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hydrogen has to be produced, then transferred and delivered by either trucks or pipelines. Logistically, a nightmare. It makes much more sense to rely and improve on existing electrical grids. BEVs are the future.

    • @johnslater7718
      @johnslater7718 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You need energy to produce hydrogen, 3 times more than the energy that that hydrogen can supply. Besides is dangerous af, 500bar tanks and flamable af

    • @flightlinevr6302
      @flightlinevr6302 ปีที่แล้ว

      And if you are no 2 in line you have to wait 10 minutes until the hydrogen station is pressurised again.
