Its because the Japanese government dont slam 100%+ taxes on gas cars to enforce their citizens to buy these EV's. I still dont understand why a car dealership in Japan needs foot traffic it needs parking space since most car buyers already own a car.

Because japanese make the best, more innovative and reliable cars. (And yes, japanese cars are way better than German cars and I own a BMW) Of course Japanese will despise rubbish Chinese cars, because they know they have no future and are probably disposable aand dangerous, these chinese EVS explode or catch fire. If you're driving behind close to one stay away, they are ticking bombs.

Can someone please explain this to me: is the car an EREV? Or an PHEV? Does it have a transmission? Differentials? Does the Low range work only when the engine is on? Or is the lowrange is for the e-motor... I can't get the right answer

EVs are a very bad choice. The Lithium ion batteries catch fires very easily. It's almost impossible to put those fires out. The Chiese cars are poorly made often using the cheapest materials. This brand is no different. Search TH-cam for complaints about this brand.

Check out the exploding BYD electrics in China! Li-ion generates lots of oxygen in runaway making a ferocious fire. LFPs generate a lot of Hydrogen in runaway! Hydrogen is explosive in a wide range of mixtures with O2. Check out the BYD ev videos from China.🙂 I did not know that about LFP cells.
