After spending like 900$ cad on repairs and my car still sounding horrible… I’m taking it upon myself to just repair it myself, I’m a DIY kinda guy and this seems to sound like my symptoms so gonna keep learning
I changed all my front suspension parts and now I have squeaking LOL. All my new ball joints look good and I tightened the parts with the jack lifting the suspension to ride height so I'm not sure what's going on :/
I’m trying to narrow down creaking on one side when I’m coming to a stop and letting go of the brake. Seems it’s that shift of weight in the front. Otherwise it doesn’t make the noise. Also when it’s colder, like below 40 degrees out, it doesn’t really do it. Weird.
This was so satisfying seeing being fixed. Having these issues on my front end of a dodge challenger srt8, and it's hard to get parts to be delivered on time and speedily. Still waiting for my OEM parts to get here and I am on a waiting list. Sigh*** let's see how badly things get with these UAW strikes.
So, I guess we just have to ASSUME that if there are creaking and clunking sounds it is unsafe to drive, because it COULD possibly come apart? My truck made noises for YEARS before I replaced all the front suspension....but ironically years before that a tie rod broke without any warning at all.
I had a ball joint/U joint issue, right front wheel on my Wrangler. Squeaking and slight thumping sound during slow speed turns. The joints were replaced and well greased. No more noise, but residual grease in the wheel well and on the inner side wall of the tire.😊
dealerships should have to replace these wear components free for the life of every vehicle their manufacturer produces... safety companents should be very robust and expected to last forever with proper greasing and boot replacements... however manufacturer design is crap and it will never possible and should be manufacturer responsibility to provide replacements and keep vehicles safe.
Random comment of the day. This gentlemen sorta looks like "Cyrus the Virus" from Conair. Regardlees, "Cyrus" from 1Aauto has helped with my DIY mechanic needs on a couple of my vehicles, and it is greatly appreciated. Tell "Cyrus," I said thank you, and I'd follow him to Lerner Airfield any day.
+Alejandro Montes We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Ok what are the odds I just finished watching a Sasquatch video and then I watched this next because my truck has some noise that I need to get checked out.

My car has creaking noises, I was thinking it was from the worn struts..
Very professional video. Vow its amazing
That's half the Crown Vics in America. lol.
Thank you for video. Now I know this isn't a DIY at home job.

What does it mean if your car makes noises when you turn you wheels alot to the left
Mine makes a rubbery squeaking noise only when u turning. Either tie rod end or ball joint.
Still heard the squeak so what’s up. Front sway-bar bushings?

@A1auto I have my whole front end rebuilt and it moans and groans all the time. The guy who fixed it said its normal. What should I do?

I was given a Tahoe that has a leaky power steering pump and the fluid ate all the rubber bushings and seal on driver’s side 🤦🏽♂️
all the videos make what brand of tool you use not matter.
Question, have Yukon 2009 does not misfire in the rain, misfires on regular days no rain?

Tough job
Excellent
👍
One should replace part in original body like rubber bushes there was no repair it’s called replacement,
Just time pass unnecessary labor show.
Why every car you work on is so old and rusted? Just wondering 😅
