When you were talking about playing Hello Neighbor with friends IRL it reminds me of when I would play "FNaF Freeroam" with my friends in highschool
There was enough people for Freddy, Bonnie/Chica, Foxy, and a Security Guard (and if we had extra players, the Puppet)
Rules were basically go around the school halls and try and survive as long as possible with the stopwatch app, while the others would try and chase you each with different rules to prevent it from just being tag. The school had 3 floors and like 4 staircases too so there was a lot of communication and tracking needed for the Animatronic team to find and catch the Guard
Bonnie and Chica would both be allowed to chase normally at a speedwalking pace
Freddy could run, but was only allowed to walk when the Guard could see him
Foxy was always allowed to run but would have to stand completely still if the Guard had their phones flashlight on them
The Puppet was allowed to run whenever to keep up with the Guard and stay right beside them, but wasn't allowed to kill them unless the Guard let the music box song on their phone run out without rewinding it
It was so much fun, I remember loving playing Freddy since you could run as fast as you wanted out of sight to set up an ambush, but the teachers hated us running around so much during lunch times

that genuinly sounds so fun i want to suggest this to my friends
Two questions, has there been any moments where the guard did the whole "Wait in a dead end for the slow enemy to approach, then quickly run around them" trick, and what was the most intense moment you can remember (Times when the strict teacher was down the hall too)
That sounds like it was loads of fun!
It's important to note that Foxy doesn't need to be directly looked at. You merely only need to raise the cameras to help stall him.

Simply replying to a comment with "An infuriatingly common misconception, though it makes sense that one would think that" could either be saying that the comment was spreading a misconception, or that the the comment discussing a misconception(though not using the word) was itself wrong.
Looking at it six months later now, I'm thinking along the same lines as you, that it prolly is agreeing with the comment it's replying to, but back then I genuinely couldn't tell despite spending minutes pondering it.

I just thought about this, but what about when he's in the office with you? (He presumably hides behind the player if he manages to get in) Also, once he is in the office, the game starts a bunch of dice rolls every second and if they roll a double, game over.

@@Rattyrattingratterrattedrat "without a single foxy attack" Good basic Camera Usage takes care of that, also worth noting Foxy's A.I. Levels progress as 0 -> 1 -> 2 -> 6 -> 5 (-> 6)
"OR a Freddy movement" Have you never heard of the FreezeBear strategy (Constantly looking at camera 1A to lock Freddy on the Showstage)?
Also worth noting Freddy's A.I. Levels progress as 0 -> 0 -> 1 -> 1 or 2 [50/50 chance] -> 3 (-> 4)
Fun fact: one of the reasons foxy didnt move much is because the game doesnt need you to look directly at the cove in order to slow him down, simple camera usage is enough to stop him

7:40 I used to do imaginary Pokemon battles against other kids who probably didn't know what a Dustox was. I was born in 05, so makes sense tbh. The poke boom was long gone
Did that with my cousins. Dustox best moth! I remember particularly around the gen 6 games where one cousin was deoxys, another was raquaza confused from outrage but still using other moves & I was mega gengar using the elemental punches that were usually useless 😂

tbh i think this is how the game SHOULD have been, door lights set the precedent of cameras that don't actually do much except a secondary music box/audio/foxy mechanic since you can just peak right outside your office and boom why have cams. plus, the lights only help fix a blind spot you can tell they're in by keeping track of them via cams
Another missed opportunity was with the audio-only camera being useless, it should have been that one of the animatronics forces you to check the audio cam
@@Adam_U in fairness, chica and freddy both hide there on occasion and so listening in on it is just as "useful" as the other cams are visually. though any camera aside from left door cam and right door cam are honestly not that valuable most of the time
Me and my friends have done FNAF 1 irl, and the camera system was basically exactly like how you and your friends did hello neighbor's cameras but with discord calling
I loved the Hello Neighbour IRL story, i absolutely did simular stuff with my friends! I have very fond memories of playing Baldis Basics on the school playground
Maximum Freddy time is actually 60.3 seconds, though it's exceedingly rare to get anything above 50 because getting the maximum time (20s) on the last stage is ~1/8 (instead of ~1/2 on the first two).
Fun fact: the very last stage (pitch black screen before the jumpscare) actually doesn't have a 20 sec limit like the other stages. Because of that's it's entirely possible (albeit *extremely* unlikely) to get a blackout at 12 AM and survive until 6 AM. You'd need **GODLY** luck for that, though.

Only for the 2 first phases (before Freddy starts singing and how long he sings).
The last one (complete darkness until the jumpscare) does not (according to what Chickenninja42 said at least... I didn't fact check that...).

You can't hear them audio cues is because of their MO (movement opportunity)
The reason why you lost to Bonnie is because he was in the closet.
When Bonnie is in the closet and didn't move to the left hallway. That means he teleported to your door and you have to immediately close your left door and check the other places where he's at to double check if he's there, if he's not at the door, immediately open the left door. (he's in cafeteria or parts and service)
And do not trust the audio cues and only trust your gut as the audio themselves trick you or just doesn't play.
(The audio cues will be correct but not that much as they are active af and will completely skip it or cut it with their MO {movement opportunity})
Chica, Foxy, and Freddy are much easier to know and guess their moves:
Chica - She only moves at Cafeteria, CR, right hallway, right corner.
(She's the same as bonnie if she's in the kitchen [teleports w/ ender pearl])
Foxy is just easiest of them all, just flip the camera as many times and you'll hinder ongoing phase.
Freddy is easy as you only have to look at him or if you're brave enough to take it head on. Open the damn door and look at the other animatronics (Only works in Night 3-5)
And that's just about it

Animatronics "talking" outside the door.
If you hear somone rummaging through the trash, Chica is the only one who does that, so that means Chica is definitely in the kitchen and you don't even need to check cameras for her
Also, when either Chica bonnie of freddy is outside the room. Making those distorted sounds. Im my experience, the do that immediately before moving to a door. (Execpt for freddy, he just kills you).
i only saw half of this stream because the earlier nights seemed so easy, therefore i just assumed it wouldn't take long to finish the challenge. had no clue night 5 would have given you so much trouble LMAO
Not exactly a video game but irl moment but I used to larp with my neighbor and my cousin(not at the same time but very similar experiences) when we were kids. We made so many ocs, I played I believe sonic x with my neighbor and wolves with my cousin. I think I did it up until I was 10. Me and my neighbor used to do fake duels in a driveway.
