@@DavidBaronYT On further consideration, it also might have something to do with your PC. Depending on how good your computer is, there's a decent chance your graphics card is dragging Security Breach through hell kicking and screaming, keeping it alive through sheer processing power.

I wonder if the lack of crash triggers is part of the reason the game has so many glitches. Most games would shut down long before getting as broken as Security Breach, so maybe the absence of the ability to crash just allows for all of the glitches to pile up the way they do.

On the older patch, if you managed to get Freddy into El Chips and attempted to go further in while riding inside of him, the game would deload and leave you stranded, unable to move, in the void. In the newer patch, however, I have consistently been able to crash by preforming these same steps.

yeah i tried getting him in el chips in my casual playthrough but i got stuck every time
In that case all you do is mapbot warp and you're able to call/enter him in the Superstarcade part of El Chips

Technically, still a softlock because the pause menu still works and it's possible to reset the game without closing it

I had this super janky computer that would completely crash (as in the computer itself would turn off) on almost any game. It ended up *completely* breaking because of a game that’s super polished, super stable, and pretty much glitchless compared to FNAF: Security Breach.. Wandersong.
I would have loved to play SB on that computer just to see what would’ve happened, but I didn’t have SB so I couldn’t even try.

the way youre trying to break this game reminds me a lof of astralspiff and i absolutely love it. i love watching people absolutely destroy this game in such fun ways and you both do it so well, the vibes are immaculate.

It kind of reminds me of how sonic 06 is also a infamously broken as hell game, but it is disgustingly hard to get it to tap out. Speedrunners literally found out how to delete a whole boss, and instead of crashing the game stalls for a minute, goes "ah well I guess you killed the boss" and continues on like nothing happened.
Game can be 100% broken until you want it to break in a very specific way

Age old game, among the ranks of Zelda ocarina of time
I performed a glitch where I entered Freddy while exiting the day care. That crashed the game so bad I had to restart the PC and redownload Security Breach. And the I had to order a new CPU, because that crash managed to somehow break my CPU. That was an expensive crash, but a great story to tell.

Either the CPU heated up too much and it fried, or it died seperatly lol. Games can't really kill hardware like that unless there's a fault within the hardware itself.

The creator YuB had the game crash on him in his earlier play through videos. I believe it was from him backtracking down a flight of stairs after letting Freddy charge for the first time at 12am. It was in the first release though.

this is actually really easy as long as you have an AMD graphics card
not many games actually support their cards well, and this is very apparent in security breach. my entire pc crashed when i got in the vent with freddy (the bit where the meme is from).
it also happened when hiding in a box in the music man arcade. it was at the bottom of some stairs on the left. idk how to explain it. but if you just sit there for long enough (at least on the release version idk i didnt take chances on my replay), your whole pc will crash.
Tbf, it was developed in Unreal. I'm by far no expert, but its framework is pretty robust and I imagine it has a lot of ways of handling any errors that occur internally, in an effort to protect (inexperienced) developers from themselves.
I technically got a crash I think? I was in daycare and whenever I stepped on a certain spot the game just freezes completely. I still hear Moon walking around but it just stops. I have to close and reopen the game. It was really annoying because it happened on my first try while I was looking for the last generator. It then happened on the next attempt and I figured out it was that specific spot which is unfortunate because avoiding it cuts off an exit route out of a play structure.
I never seen someone break the game so much that it teleports you to places you shouldn't be at in the beginning of the game and get Freddy in the daycare. he's probably so confused lol Ngl it being dark in the game is cool looking compared to normal

But actually I just got reminded of my first crash when I played princess quest 1.
I legit didn't play it again in the fear the crash was intentional so I never tried the princess quest ending. This is what happens when you play fnaf you can't trust crashes unless they are lore or not.

It's super easy to crash this game actually, just open it on my computer, start the game and wait roughly one minute for the "exit Freddy" prompt to appear and then *boom* game closes itself
i remember crashing after collecting some random gift box on release patch, surprised how well this held together
This game is unironically the most stable game I’ve ever seen when it comes to crashes
David broke the game so much it apparently went back to its intended state way before they cut half the plot and mechanics, back when time in the game was supposed to progress normally and all that (otherwise I don't know how tf to explain a) natural passage of time and b) night time starting in the backstage office sequence), which is almost as impressive as the fact that with all that the game still somehow didn't really crash
Im not 100% sure I remember correctly but in my most recent playthrough which isnt too long ago I crashed 3-5 times. Either by hiding or running into a room that wasnt fully loaded in yet and my favourite... Opening the camera's.
Stacking Pizzabot overlays does it. If you leave the area, you can reactivate the HUD for the pizza cooking minigame, while already having it stuck on the screen, and it stacks. 5 or so times in, the game stops handling it at all.

Bro when I played this the first time it took me like hours to beat the daycare cause the second I touched literally any of the physics objects the game went into anaphylactic shock. I have a good PC as well.

18:08 Most Unreal engine games I've played really hate it when you tab out during some loading sequence or camera change. The Isle is a good example of this during any loading screen. Another crash is to have SB or whatever game downloaded and running off of an external hard drive and unplugging it.

I crashed the game on my first playthrough, didn't even realize it was a rare thing to do. For some reason, during my playthrough when I opened the 1st princess quest arcade machine. My game crashed. This was back in like late January so it was whatever version of the game we were on then. I don't know what caused the crash, I didn't do anything other than try to use the machine. At the time I was annoyed, but now I'm proud that I got such a rare thing to happen (though maybe it was that rare at the time idk)

During my first play through sb crashed several times during 2am showtime, I was looking at the camera that showed the west arcade entrance so I could figure out chica and the staff bots movement patterns and it lagged so bad the game just crashed
I doubt you’ll try to do this again but if you do try Monty golf, for me on an casual play through, it’s an 50/50 that going into the elevator in Monty golf will crash

crashing the game is actually (im pretty sure) very easy on low end pc's, i played the game on a laptop and had to basically had to avoid using cameras because if i used them there was a good chance the game would crash

The only time this game crashed on me was after trying to use that door under the backstage office where freddy saves you, it crashed when i walked back down the hall towards the atrium and i have no clue why it crashed. Also this was on version 1.11 on ps4

I was streaming SB yesterday on the new patch: after I left the daycare and went into the atrium elevator, Freddy started saying a fazfact which crashed my game. Speedrun complete 👍
As a PS4 player (only bought after patch 1.11), surprisingly I've only gotten crashes in elevators when it fails to teleport Gregory and Freddy properly. Seemingly only happens when I zap Freddy with a Fazerblaster or Faz Cam right when I hit the lag spike. Perhaps something hardware reliant
I wish I had this problem TwT went to do the quest after the Daycare and my laptop couldn't handle it, put more RAM into and accidentally broke my cooling fan and am now unable to play or turn my laptop on until I get a new fan :|
This game is so glitch ridden and so broken that it looped around and became crash-proof.
In the new dlc you can crash it when your in the last mimic cutscene and you exit to menu

I got the game to crash twice the other day on my ps4. By bring Freddy into the Fazer Blast lift (elevator for you lot)
Like it legit froze and force-closed the game. It proper crashed
If you alt f4 and close pc same time when you open pc it says game crashed
(I experienced that when my mom came in my room and I closed pc as fast as I can and I saw that)and I did it 2 more time and it crashed again every time
the game crashed when I got to the daycare on my horrible pc, I have to put the graphics at lowest and screen size to lowest just to play with a little less lag.
I just found a consistent way do crash the game, just bring Freddy to El chip and try to enter the arcade with Freddy (only tested in the release version)

So on PS5 my game crashed right after 6 am Monty golf, and it was the only time the game ever crashed for me, this was before you could save after 6 am

what if you fall out of the map and fall until your Y value reaches the negative integer limit so there is an integer underflow, that might crash the game engine maybe.

I once got crash with corrupting of the save file I was playing on and settings file after prize counter escape ending cutscene stopped playing.
