No I was in fact sad that carly doesn't think much of KISS. Even her fans don't like it. That whole album is amazing. I love all of her 4 albums since KISS.

@@Afternoonsun-c9y Well, I don't think her fans don't like "Kiss", it's just that after "E•Mo•Tion" was released, then the B-sides, then The 'Dedicated' era, we were exposed to a superior level of Excellence. We will always choose her 3rd and onward records as favourites. As for myself, I do think that "Kiss" deserves more attention, because the whole record shows how great Carly is and how she definitely shines with several "Elctro-Pop" songs in it.

@@Smoove_J Her major hits are 'I Really Like You', 'Cut to the Feeling', 'Run Away With Me', 'Good Time', and 'Call Me Maybe', and 'Call Me Maybe' has three times the play of her next biggest song. I'm not saying that's fair (emotion, emotion side b, and dedicated are all stellar, and I'm of the opinion Kiss is overall her weakest album sonically), but its unfortunately facts.
You can blame Americans there. She’s a two hit wonder stateside and most people only know stateside her for Call Me Maybe and Good Time . Not me, I’ve followed her since that, I Really Like You and became a true follower since Emotion. Looking forward to seeing this princess roll.

In my opinion, that was a fantastic single and the song itself is POP Music taken to another level. It actually is better than "Call Me Maybe" and was the one that sealed the deal for me, as it converted me into an CRJ devotee :D

Emotion is such a masterpiece. This album is pop perfection! It's unbelievable how underestimated this album is. It should have been a huge hit. And Dedicated is a pretty good pop album itself. There are some true gems on it.

It's criminal that she is too often only known for Call Me Maybe. It's a good radio hit but nothing more. Her work since has been truly ICONIC and shows an artist who loves what she does, and has the absolute freedom and songwriting talent to express that love.
