KISS is bubblegum pop perfection. she recorded the album in less than 3 months and the album still amazing and well done. not her best work but for some reason is my fav one lol

i love carly but i hate it that she does not like kiss. in most interviews of hers she kinda looks down upon it and im not be overdramatic but i hate it. i love every single song on it. i love it even more than dedicated. turn me up, drive, curiosity, this kiss, call me maybe.
if carly wants to release a 30-song album, THEN LET HER. i mean nowadays that's a strategic streaming move
If it’s a double album the yea but they need to be able to release it on CD and Vinyl for it to be a actual release notice how every album ever that isn’t a deluxe or bonus track version that the artist who made it is signed to a major label record company is usually less than 2 hours as it can’t fit on a single disc or record

@@edensylvester13 Carly never left, she was still releasing new music between the releases of EMOTION and Dedicated. She put out an album with unreleased songs from EMOTION in 2016 and then in 2017 she released "Cut To The Feeling" which was also originally recorded for EMOTION but it ended up being a promotional single for Ballerina (or Leap the animated film) which features Carly as Odette.
Carly is defenitely one of my favourite artists. It's just so inspiring the way she think about things and about her carreer, how she's honest and give 100% on everything she do. She wrote 200 songs for one album (Emotion), some artists doesn't write two hundred songs on their entire life. She has been making 80's-inspired music years before it was cool and trendy. By the way, her energy in this interview is amazing, she was having so much fun. It's nice so see she being happy and releasing her stuff without the pressure of repeating the shallow success of Call Me Maybe.
if only she could release whats left of the 200. i mean emotion side b was better than emotion imo so there is a huge probability that i would like most of the other songs which she and her label would disapprove off

Carly Rae Jepsen being less popular than she used to be might be because of the fact that her Call Me Maybe song was the only thing she was known for singing to the general public the last time she was in the spotlight and it got so much attention to the point where the fans only saw it as a novelty act and moved on to the next big mainstream pop star when the popularity of Call Me Maybe ran its course. It isn't Carly's fault, that's just the way the music entertainment industry is, the more famous you get the more haters you have.
I also think it was a mistake to release I Really Like You as the lead single of Emotion. It is actually a great pop song but too shallow and repetitive bc her manager (Scooter Braun, ew) wanted her to release Call Me Maybe 2.0. But the general public didn't want CMM 2.0 and were unimpressed. If she released Run Away With Me as the lead like she wanted to I think more people would've respected her and given her a chance

Am I the only one who seriously loves Kiss? I hardly like any songs on Tug Of War, Emotion is the best and Dedicated took a long time to like. Kiss is when I became a fan.
