    I still daily my stock 08 balt and even it spins the tires whenever I want or even when I bet more power is a handful :). I drive it in the winter here too and you have to be real careful. I think it's even worse than my old Camaro in the snow because it wanders so easily. I have Michelin X ice tires so that's not the problem. Anyhoo fun cars :).

    Crazy how that thing spins so fast from 40

      Imagine if it had traction....the second pull in 3rd was yanking the wheel pretty hard from tires spinning.

      @@8SecSleeper Yes it had LSD, this video had completely bald R888s and it was cool-ish outside so not good traction. They hooked good in 3rd most of the tires life.

    What fuel was you running, also who was your tuner. This is exactly the same way my car runs on the 7163

      Just an intake cam fuel lobe and opel injectors on e85. ZZP tuned it, it was that setup for about 5 years, no issues.

      manbowv8 that’s awesome rn I’m on stock injectors and fuel cam, but I’m on e47 tuned by zzp and they look at about the same power range you ever get yours dynod or have any racing vids

      @@landonhall55 dyno'd at 445/405. I don't have many street runs on film unfortunately.

      manbowv8 all good but that’s solid numbers if I made over 400 I’d be happy but seeing this made my confidence go up a bit considering it’s about the same times from 60-100 I haven’t had this turbo setup for not even a week yet but power feels good runs around 25-27 psi

      manbowv8 do you happen to have the data log of a pull when you was doing revisions?

    Damn red line at 7k. How's it hold up to the higher rpm red line?

    • @manbowv8
      @manbowv8  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not a problem with 82# valve springs and keeping a close eye on the timing chain components. Having a higher redline is only useful on bigger turbos, waste of time and air to rev that high on a K04.

      @GeoTrashPanda 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@manbowv8 yeah is there a better chain guide to help keep it in check at those rpm's?

    • @manbowv8
      @manbowv8  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@GeoTrashPanda I think they updated the guides in the LHU/LDK but the biggest thing is the stronger and larger bolts, as well as the revised tensioner. All done on my car around 55k miles, it has 85k now.

      @@manbowv8 ok cool yeah im looking at maybe doing something like this to my LNF when funds allow it. Its kinda hard to find someone with good ecotec skills to help build my ecotec up here in alaska.

      Someone told me that GM engineers had actually wanted redline to be 7200 in it and it had been designed to go that high, but they had already printed a bunch of the gauge clusters, so 6250 it is.
