I got an extender for both downstairs and upstairs in my home. It was working for a long time but however it just started being slow out of nowhere only upstairs and I didn’t change anything or relocate the router
With my ethernet cat5 ethernet cable im pulling 0.1mbps sometimes and ive already tried calling the provider but they said theyd have it fixed by the end of the year (6months ago) but nothing has changed and the router is in an open space😢

Are you using Window? You need to check the negotiated LINK SPEED in window settings (Ethernet). Most likely that it will be 100 or 10 and that is not good. This indicate that you might have some bad cables from your device to the router. You should call the ISP showing them this they will use they tool to detect the bad cable.

How do u relocate your router
put it at somewhere you like and run the power and WAN (or if you have a modem-router combo: the fiber line or the coaxial line or the adsl line) to the new location.

If you are using a cellular hotspot, there may not be anything you can do assuming there aren’t other carriers with better coverage. If you have copper cable or fiber, check with your ISP to see if they can offer faster service to your property.
My broadband is supposed to be near 1Gbps. I get 40mbps. not even close...
