    Great job DB, it's all coming along nicely, I can't get my spot welder to work when using weld through primer,

      It gives off more sparks at parts with the weld through primer and i find the upol stuff good, I've used cheaper ones before and it would not work with them

      Cheers, it is a great tool, take a bit of time getting used to playing with the different settings on different thicknesses

      @@DBMiniDIY upgrading shock absorbers on the back of my mini. Come to put new ones on .one side goes on quite easily the other side will not line up with the hole that goes into. The boot. Cannot understand why could there be something wrong with my subframe or the radius thank you

      @@petersurguy4179 there should be some play in the bushes but they may be hard with being new. Have you lifted the trailing arm up and down, it will pivot and move until the shock is in place. Its hard to visualise without seeing the issue

      @@DBMiniDIY thank you for your reply. I put a Jack under the drum brake. And lifted the radius arm with the shock absorber attached to the bottom but it will not line up with the hole in the boot it's probably a centimetre out. I can Jack high enough but it is not within line with the whole wondered if it could be my subframe been put on wrong

      @@petersurguy4179 not unless there have been some poor repairs done to the heelboard. Do the old shocks still fit?

    Looking GOOD,after the fender is on,can you get to the nuts for the door? I have a MK1 with external hindges.

      @DBMiniDIY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can, its tight but accessible. I much prefer the look of the MK1 hinges though

    Your spot welder is it timed or do you release when you think its welded?
