Nice bit of fabrication! Don't know if it's too late now, but you might want to look at the strengthener plate that welds in there on the inside of the heel board and inner sill if you still can?

Hi! I noticed your heel board repair panels seamed to have that attached to them, were they m-machine panels?
      Cheers

@@upbuild4397 hi yes indeed m machine ones, the strengthener is actually under the nuts too and then 90 Deg bend for the support on to the inner sill. I noticed it's only flat compared to the heritage ones that have a couple of small creases in it for even more strength I guess.

That was a good clear informative video that has given me confidence for when I start my rear quarter repair...thank you. Did you buy the quarter panel from Heritage or Magnum?

Hi Mark thank you for the feed back, that’s great I’m really pleased it’s been helpful. I got the quarter panel from M-machine, there really helpful and panels are good quality. cheers 👍

Haha it has been a bit chilly recently but the rain has stopped play for the last couple of weeks, at least for working outdoors.

Hey mate cool build I'm hoping to fined one for me and my 13 yr old son to do. But I have a little tip for you don't forget to paint some kind of base cost paint on the inner area that your putting the qaurter panel back of as if you leave it in etch primer over time is will start to rust again if you use a 2k primer it will seal the metal.
Count me in as a subscriber and also please feel free to check out my TH-cam Channel and my Facebook page Wayne's Garage cheers mate.

Hi Wayne thanks for that, that is a very good point, all of the primer on the exterior of the panels is just a temporary measure whilst we get the metal work on the body done but I did almost forget about painting the closed off sections behind, until you reminded me 👍. Will definitely take a look at you Channel thanks.
