10 out of 10 for using a grinder and cut off wheel, with the safety guard in place..Just about every resto video I have watched on the tube, the users disregard this important safety aspect, Now if yo grint the mushroom head off the punch lol, you will be in like Flynn ..

Hate seeing grinders used without the guard on is an accident waiting to happen. Grinders are brutal bits of kit

The first car head gasket I did was on my brothers mini van also ended up doing radiator too on it. Was corking little van suprised me what could get in the back. And handling on twisty roads was ace, could chuck it in to a bend and it would go round with no bother

Hi yes we did fabricate our suspension stool, our other stools were just too uncomfortable :-)

Grind that mushroom off your center punch before it breaks off and fired into your hand . Yes I speak from experience .

Makes you wonder what the manufacturers/designers had on their minds regarding construction....to last just 5 or 10 years perhaps? virtually no rust-proofing; no consideration to a temperate climate, salt on the roads etc. My 21 year old MB CLK 230 is still virtually rust free.
