well I mean smash has a lot of characters and they cant put a lot of detail into them.
not only that as genius as the switch is. its stil not all that power full.
now look at shulk. a character that requires a large ammount of detail (rescources they just dont have.) and you can see why it turned out the way he did.
Overall I think shulk in terms of quality looks quite good in smash bros ultimate for the job they did.
Wouldn’t it have been extremely cool if they’d made Fiora a blade too! Man I wish they had...

One thing I love about Shulk in XC2 is that his legendary weapon, the Monado, is outclassed damage-wise by 2 butter knives from Colony 9

I really wish that in NG+ you could get Malos as a blade. Same with Alvis. Imagine how badass it would be to have Mythra, Malos, and Alvis all at once
Alvis alone will make Rex a step above God. Malos and Pneuma will be overkill

But seriously, this was the guide I was looking forward too the most. XC1 is my all-time favorite game and was hyped to learn that Shulk would be added to XC2 as a blade, but was a little disappointed when it seemed like the best way too use him was to put him on an AI controlled party member and just to control a different party member and blade.
Cant wait for the fiora guide to be all about SCREW... EDGE! and UNIVERSE! UNIVERSE!
This may not have much to do with him gameplay-wise, but I adore the way Shulk and Fiora look in XC2
Oh look the crossover blade, this seems like the best time to bring up some thoughts I have.
First off, thank you, Enel, for making so much great content on the entire Xeno series, from high-level combat guides to all three Blade games, to a way to experience Xenosaga 3 without having to buy it, to very informative speedruns.
XC1 is my favorite game, because it changed my life. I know you have some mixed opinions on it, and I respect that. However, I think 2 is a masterpiece in its own right and enjoy it almost as much (and X too), which unfortunately doesn’t seem like a common opinion among 1 fans. Maybe it’s a vocal minority saying that 2 is a disgrace to what 1 stands for, which is still discouraging to me.
Barring people being overly toxic to one game or the other for whatever reason, I think the Xeno fandom is a great place. I’m proud to be a fan of this series.
This makes me wish they used his XC2 model in Smash... Too bad he's stuck with that really awkward looking one lol

It is very cheap but you can unlock him and Fiora very easily if you do the level on custom difficulty and bring Fiora, Corvin, and Poppi QT pi. There's essentially zero synergy but if you set custom difficulty the right way it won't matter
Shulk has quite a few defensive traits despite being an ATK blade, reminds me of Gorg, just way better than him.
Definitely a character you want to get to S+ trust.

Hi Enel, thank you so much for creating this channel and its contents. Because of your videos, I am able to enjoy both Xenoblade and Xenoblade 2 so much more and both are now one of my favorite RPG games (XC 2 being my most played RPG game with almost 300hours game time). Furthermore, I never thought I would watch a four-hour long speed run video but I ended up watching the whole thing and really enjoyed it. I was also very impressed with the commentary, again, really enjoyed watching it.

after finishing xc2 torna and playing around with shulk and fiora i gave xc1 de a chance and i like it already on chapter 17 and had so much fun im so glad i found this channel and helped me with mutiple things and thank you for introducing the greatness that is XC2!

You can actually achieve 1993 auto-attack with the Preon chip. It's coupled with a 25% crit rate, so it's actually not horrible to pick over the Tachyon- if just for the lulz.
Hey Guys, if you guys want to know more about Shulk (from smash), you should definitely check out Xenoblade Chronicles, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D or Xenoblade Chronicles Defintive Edition. As you already learned in this Video you can also find him in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (the best game of all time)
If you want to be the Ultimate Evasion Tank, pair Shulk on Morag (controlled by you) with Rex and Mythra.
Monado Speed + Foresight + Vision = Morag will never be hit again.
Enel is good, and so is his content!

like the specials are gorgeous, the light effect of the monado looks sooo good, the vision effect is awesome, and of course his redesign! all i’ll say about that is that there was definitely a reason de was based on this. but yeah they adapted him to xenoblade 2 perfectly
One of my favorite things about 2 is that they made my boy shulk my favorite blade to use in the game (alongside qt pi lol)

i think its pretty cool how they show Shulk having more defensive abilities as a blade. adds a cool middle stage between here and the next time we see him. can also be seen as furthering the plot line of "Shulk is the one protecting me now" from Reyn.

I remember the first time that I tried Dino Drama and it took me around 33 minutes to finish the battle because my party setup sucked. Now though, my best time is 08:19 thanks to most of my blades at S+ trust and Overdrive.🙂
Edit: I forgot to mention that I did Dino Drama on the Normal difficulty. Sorry about that.😏

Why didn't they just buff all shield hammers...
The next xenobalde game should just have aggro gain be double that of damage dealt when using shield hammers instead of half the damage like with any other weapon.
Better yet, how about an art or speacial that force aggros (i.e taunt) from all enemies onto the shield hammer.

Currently I am having trouble with Immovable Heir Carlos and Cloud Sea King Ken in Challenge Mode. They both have extremely high Dexterity, which caused my Evade Mythra build to stop functioning. (At 570-580 Agility Rex was still hit a lot) In addition, the fxxking Venom Cloud of the Carlos just wiped out the entire party if I did not have LV4 Special in hand or similar methods to skip it. From your video, Morag has over 700 Agility. Together with Mythra's Foresight, will it be enough to dodge the attacks of the two enemies mentioned above? How about evading the doom effects, like Venom Cloud and the Murder Ray?
well, so here we have Shulk, the proof Shield Hammers need better speed and lower cooldown rathen than damage to work as a tank, since damage can be covered elsewhere, and as youll expect from what Ive been doing, yup, Ill buff the hell out of him
Monado Speed - Active/Party Skill - Same
Monado Enchant - Ative/Party Skill - Same but 100% Damage AND 25% Critical Damage
Vision - Passive Skill - Same
Hidden 4th Skill - if Shulk and Fiora are active, on Chain attack activation, +500% Bonus Damage, Elemental Orb Ender & Element Orb Prioritizer & if Shulk and Pyra/Mythra/Pneuma are active, Doubles Party Gauge gain, Pneuma time limit and Chain Bonus Gauge fill on Orb Break (so maxing that gauge can be done with 3 orbs only)
Monado Unbound - Same, but add the skill Limit Break 2 (refresher, adds 2 0s to damage cap)
so youll instantly notice "some" bias... what can I say, Shulk is my favorite Xeno protagonist, the only reason I didnt make his Lv4 the LB 3 version is because it hits more than 1 time and I dont think itll be as easy to cap without a gargantuan damage that Pneuma Lv 4 has acces to
why not upload better than 720p? also love the vids keep them up they're slowly making me have more interest in the games.
Xenoblade 2 and DE are games that run in 720p so recording in higher quality wouldn't do anything.
So, I've been wondering something after watching a few of your guides. From the looks of it, it seems like you only put one blade on each of the party members and only one of importance on the character in use. Is this just for demonstration purposes, or is this the optimal way to be playing?

Huh... I figured you were gonna do the rest of the Gacha Blades, then the NG+ Torna Members, and then the Challenge Mode guests last, but I guess this makes sense all things considered.
I really wish they'd buffed Shield Hammers to be a little bit more like Shulk; at least giving the faster animations and higher damage ratios would've been nice.

Do you have a video on enemy behaviors like rage and their buffs? I literally had no idea that when they rage they receive less damage
enemies have different enrage effects. awakening on the other hand is specific to certain challenge mode enemies.
