Are you kidding me? Poppi’s level four crit modifier gives her an extra one percent critical rate. That’s pretty good. It goes from five to six
Some may see it as a "waste", but I love using Ultimate Shield with Poppi alpha. With a 93% block rate, you’re essentially immune to 93% of the damage coming your way, and the remaining damage is cut in half with her high defense values. Unless you’re facing someone with pierce and guard-annul, your enemies practically have their DPS reduced to 3-4% from normal.

I really wish each Poppi form got a role-specific art based on the CPU chip you had equipped to them. IE, Poppi a as a Tank would get Rigid Shield, while Poppi a as a Healer would get a party heal or heal-on-attack art.

She saved the aegis , she busted them out of jail, Got them on the ship to save nia she beat her sister and Giant mecha sister. God she saved the story so many times. She is my favorite character btw.
Not just that- even now, she helped power the giant… computer(?) that Nia was using in the Endless Now millennia (for lack of a better term) later.
Would've been nice to see her tanking some of the strongest attacks in the game, like Ultra Annhilation Flare, Falak Buster or even Prometheus lol.

I main Alpha. On my first run i was missing like 2 manuals. But still liked poppi the most. Then got the one in Morytha and WT and suddenly everything was amazing
I never even really used Poppi until new game + because I never like grinding tiger tiger, but when I finally did I realized just how good Poppi could be.

Ehhh, go for QTPi. End of the guide 😂. Jokes aside, Alpha is the best tank in the game, I think she reaches close to 100% block rare which is insane if you are struggling vs certain enemies.
Insane defense values, too. It's almost impossible for Tora to die if he's got Alpha up

I'm guessing you'll eventually do a cumulative guide on how all three Poppis/Hanas mesh (I.e. how to use Alpha and Qt as stat sticks for QtPi)
I'd like a mode that lets you create your own challenges, with a certain cap for lvls and stats of opponents and your team. Imagine fighting a lvl 150 malos in elysium beneath the tree with only rex and blades 🤔

Poppi is amazing. Sure, it took until New Game+ for me to really use her seriously, but it was great when I did. When the Poppi QTπ guide drops, you'll have single handedly turned everyone's "No Simp September" into "Super Simp Simptember".

The funny thing is that I just got the QTpi form for Poppi in my game on the same day this video released.

I decided one day to go all in on her tanking ability, Dilation chip, damage heal, everything. I was very impressed at her ability to eat a massive hot and shrug it off like it was nothing. I do prefer killing my opponents dead, but being an immortal track had a certain appeal on its own.
When the AI is being particularly stupid, I like to just slap a demon orb on Tora and have him solo the battle in a very slow but certain victory.
You can use ultimate shield to further boost the god-like defense that she has. Though like you said, she not gonna be destroying any enemies anytime soon.
On my first playthrough, I fell in love with Poppi as a character. I would add to Emergency Mode a 5% hp restored when an art is used when under 30%.
Only 3 more unique blades left, you're on a role Enel.
How to use Poppi Alpha:
1. Give her a Master Luck Mod to support QTpi's amazing break art
2. Use Poppi QTpi
How to use Poppi QT:
1. Give her a Master Strike Mod or a Master Muscle Mod to support QTpi's level 1 special damage or accuracy
2. Use Poppi QTpi
Her drill actually does pierce the heavens though. One of Tora's driver arts launches him skyward.

Poppi is very fun, an easy 50% guard rate with Tora's already chunky healtu pool gets pretty crazy, and thats only just in chapter 4.

Poppi alpha is just there for level 1 chain special it serves no other purpose the rapid hit does weirdly high team attack damage but its useless outside that use

I know its all preference but is there a better element for each form? I'm going through the game again and was just looking how I should work towards optimizing the poppis and you change the element twice in this video alone! Just wondering cause they're obviously given 1 element but I doubt those are the best for even the in game content besides alpha's earth pairing with pyra early-pre mythra game
It entirely depends on enemies being fight or party blade combo synergy

Sorry if this is unrelated, but how do you get Lv 6 Aux Cores? I haven’t found any videos talking about them.
They can be obtained at random via Challenge Mode and I think some merc missions or quests if I recall correctly. Mostly Challenge Mode missions like Chickenheart Challenge.

Who needs tanking when QT Pi makes short work of everything and can take a hit? Poppi never dies but it has the attacking prowess of a Caterpie using tackle.

93% BLOCK RATE W/ ULTIMATE SHIELD GOES BRRRRRRRR

So, I'm not Poppiswap master by any means, but isn't a 93% block rate before applying Emergency Mode kind of excessive? Like, it's certainly not a bad thing to have, but I'd think that a 78% block rate (swapping out the Block Rate Up V for something else) which caps out when below 30% health, with some other benefit like higher damage, greater aggro generation, or a 50% chance for blocks to nullify damage entirely (with Ultimate Shield) would be more effective in the long run, or at the very least make better use of her skills. Alternatively, a Tachyon Chip on the same setup would still have a respectable 69% block rate (possibly 70% depending on how the game handles rounding) with a moderately higher auto-attack and crit rate, plus the special effect of extra aggro generation from Specials and Driver Arts. If there's some reason the above-30%-health block rate should be the highest priority the by all means correct me, I'm just going on observation, logic, and a bit of research here.

Is it that there's just not a lot of other ways to add damage to her, or that there's no point compared to her defensive utility? I just wonder if this is overkill on her defenses, and more couldn't be spared to boost her damage (and by extension aggro).
Not a ton of other options and her damage is awful even when maxed out. I'd just stick to other blades for that and focus on what alpha does best

Aggro needs to be tweaked a bit.
I could have all the aggro boost in the world and they all target rex cause the numbers this game gets to are ridiculous.
I'd try using poppi QT as a hitter to gain aggro then switch to poppi, but what's the point of all that damage then? That'd be me discarding poppi QT.
