    Should have told the tenant that he'd save more than that with a new, more efficient boiler. He should be grateful to the landlord that he got a new one fitted.
    Another good video Tom, thank you.

      Thanks for the support as always mate, I completely understand people are hard up at the minute, obviously I would never deliberately waste money or energy, I set everything up for him to be as efficient as possible, like you say he will save a few pounds so it should even itself out in a week or so, and then he will be saving money, have a great weekend

    Nice work there Tom.👍 I have some sympathy with the tenant - he is paying rent and the boiler including installing and commissioning of the boiler is the landlords responsibility, when you are brassic and eking out your food money every quid counts! On the toilet install (in the narrow room with the black soil pipe), would it not have been better to take out the skirting on the pan wall - getting the hole for the soil pipe closer to the back wall? (Just asking😉). I much prefer the hard tails on the sink taps too.😀👍

    • @PlumbLikeTom
      @PlumbLikeTom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do understand that the landlord probably should pick the gas bill up, to be fair the new boiler will be more efficient and I only ran the boiler a short period of time, to be honest I don't think it would have used £4 worth of gas but I don't actually know, the soil pipe is being boxed in, I find going in front of the skirting works best as it falls the right distance for the pan connector to go fully into the toilet, thanks for watching as always Norman

They never informed us that we needed a portfolio and of course it’s a closed shop. It’s all changing anyway soon if it hasn’t yet, I think it’s all going to be a classroom format.

    Great work ethic Tom 👍🏼 Looking at the basin waste trap 🧐 what was the thing you inserted after the rubber seal and before screwing trap onto pipe ???

    • @PlumbLikeTom
      @PlumbLikeTom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching mate, with polypipe traps they send a pipe support with them, it's to centre the trap with the pipe and ensures everything goes on square, you don't actually need to use it to make a water tight fitting but as it was there I thought I would

      Thanks for watching mate, maths and english are very important skills, when I was at college if you didn't achieve a C grade at GCSE level you had to do key skills, the government are talking about introducing extra maths for all until you reach 18, I personally think this may not be necessary for all on vocational courses

    Hi Tom. As you know the shipper has the facility to put emergency credit on token meters when we test. We had one guy in Gloucester who always reported a gas escape when he ran out of credit he thought he was getting free gas every time we called. Long story but one of the lads got chased down the road and had had pizza thrown at his windscreen when he refused to “wind” the gas on 😂😂
